"Well of course!" she said with a smile. She sat down by him. "Listen, I'm sorry I didn't explain to you about Raven, and I didn't know he was alive. Maybe you two could figure something out.": She licked his ear. "I just want you to know I love you both equally."

Soon they were done telling the story and Raven smiled. "Buster! I have heard you are good at fishing from Umay over here. Can you demonstrate? I am feeling a bit hungry."

Buster smiled, "I would gladly, sir." he said and went into the stream. After a few seconds he got a big trout and smiled.

Shadow smiled and he heard her and licked her back. "I am sure that we can figure something out." he said as he looked at her.

Raven nodded happily. "You got yourself a talent!" he said, smiling. Tyson started telling him how they had met.

"Whatever it is, you two are figuring it out by yourself." she said with a smile.

Buster smiled "yeah maybe your right." he said then listend to tyson.

Shadow nodded, "dont worry we will." he said as he looked at her.

Soon they had told him all of their adventures and Raven nodded. "Amazing. Come on, I wanna talk to Shadow and Hazel. They probably have had more adventures." Umay nodded, she knew that a bunch of the stories that Hazel had told them as pups were real.

Clair nodded, "yeah and I am also getting hungery and fish is waiting at home." she said as she looked at them.

"Alright, let's go." Raven said, letting Tyson lead the way. They soon had made their way back to camp, where they found Hazel dozing.

Shadow smiled when they came back

Clair right away went to the fish pile and picked out one

The cubs dispersed, they new that it was grown-wolf time ONLY. Tyson went to Clair with his own fish and started to eat.

Hazel went up and greeted Raven with a wag of her tail. "Shadow, Raven came back." she said, hoping they would settle things now.

Shadow nodded and wlaked over to Raven, "so are you going to be staying with us for now?" he asked since this was the usuall alpha thing to do.

Raven blinked. Hazel sat behind Shadow, motioning with her head for Raven to answer. "Well, I would like to, if you would let me." he said, lowering his eyes as a sign of respect.

Shadow smiled, "of course I will let you. You are the father of the cubs that I helped raised so it is only right." he said as he looked at him

Awkward... Hazel thought. "Come on Raven, lets go for a walk." "Sure." They padded off together, and Hazel pressed into his side. "I'm happy your back."

Shadow smiled as he watched her go. As long as she was happy he would be even if that ment Raven would stay.

They walked through the forest for awhile. "I thought you were dead." Hazel said. "Me too, I lost sight of a few and I thought they circled back to kill you." "Now really, you know better." "Yeah, I do." They walked in silence for awhile. "What was your son's name again?" "Oh dear, I knew you wouldn't approve. It's Tyson."

Shadow layed down and got ready fro a nap. A lot of things had happend and he needed to rest.

Hazel stopped by a small stream. Not the rivers, just a brook. "Well, I'm glad your staying anyway. I'm just concerned for Shadow." "He made you his mate, huh?" "Now we both know I thought you were long dead and gone!" "I know, it's not your fault."

Shadow soon found himself in a deep sleep and dreaming of the pack. Everyone was haveing fun and he was with Hazel and Raven. They looked happy togeather and it seemed like he was the only one left out. But he was also happy, everyone was happy and that was what counted.

"Well, who do you want as a mate?" "I'm not entirely sure. You two should talk it out." She licked his ear. "I'm telling you the same thing I told Shadow, I love you both the same. Now let's go back, the cubs are probably asleep." She stood and Raven followed her back to camp.

Clair was fast asleep next to Tyson and buster was fast asleep next to Umay.

Hazel smiled, seeing all the cubs by their friends. "Told you. Come on, lets get some rest." She lay down and Raven lay down next to her.

Shadow soon woke up and smiled seeing the two togeather. He started to wonder if it would be better if he left them and let them be happy.

Raven watched as Hazel fell asleep. He glanced over at Shadow, who had obviously woken up, and he sighed and thought, better get this over with now. He walked over and sat down.

Shadow looked up at Raven, "what is it?" he asked as he sat up

"Um... me and Hazel had a little talk and..." How the heck am I supposed to ask the Alpha to give up his mate?! HE looks pretty darn old, he could kick the bucket if he suffers to big of a loss. His head was whirling.
