UH... lol, manly... men? I guess...? LOL. Idk, I'm bothered when a guy cares more about his looks than I do... don't know why. :)

I suppose I like the pretty men, though some are a bit too extreme for me. Take Ayame from Fruits Basket, for example. He goes beyond the line of girly. Basically, I'm not into the men that look so much like girls that one can't tell the difference. I do love the men who not only look sexy, but are crabasses with a soft side. I'm surprised that I worship Tamaki and Mori so much..

I like it when anime/manga with a good mix of both. Take Bleach for example: You have girly men like Yumichika, Kira, and Ulquiorra. But at the same time, you have the ones like Chad, Grimmjow, and Kensei who are about as manly as you can get without it being ridiculous. Best of both worlds right there. :D A lot of the other guys are usually somewhere in between.

It depends on the character and their personalities, but as I prefer women, I also prefer the men who look like women. xD It's more visually appealing to me in that department, but if it doesn't work for the character... no. Just no.

I don't mind them either way. I don't usually like the 'moe' guys, just because they look like little girls to me.
I like manly France from Hetalia (and the fact he acts so effeminate), or Alucard form Hellsing,who is, imo, the epitome of manliness.

lol, France can be pretty manly when he wants to be, huh? Sweden, Germany, and Russia are my favorite Hetalia manly men. I like the moe ones too, though. Especially Canada.

I started to hate "pretty guys' in anime because they're just so goddamned effeminate, I'd rather a real male.

I prefer the pretty boys when they draw manly men the characters are usually a lot more ugly, I've noticed, it makes me sad. I like a sort of in between, lean male characters with a bit of muscle.

I actually prefer the bishounen's to the manly men. Mostly because seeing bulging muscles is just a big turn off. Granted even with the 'pretty guys' most still have muscle mass, without having all the muscle atop muscle. I will say this there are some manly men characters, that I like because of their personality. Other than that its mainly the bishounens, I love to admire the art, and see how it changes from back from the nineties up till now.

Manly men are awesome. However, I still say it would be funny to find the mindset of a manly man in the body of a bishounen.

Uhm...it usually depends on the anime and the character's personality. I find I do tend to like the more mysterious 'bad boy' types though. Weirdly enough in real life I go for the nice guys.

I mainly go for the pretty boys in Manga. Or I should say pretty boys with money and class. XD However, I also like for them to have some sort of strength. They can not be pretty and a weakling. For instance, my favorite one is Kaname Kuran from Vampire Knight.

I tend to like manly men and when I draw men they are always sort of masculine. when I was about fifteen I was sort of into girly men but now that I'm twenty my tastes have changed. Also I never really like the younger boys that looked like girls. Pretty men can be nice but I want a manly man at the end of the day. By manly I don't mean they have enormous muscles just a slight ruggedness to them and maybe some facial hair like a beard or mustache if they have the face for it.

Ugh, personally can't stand any of the pretty guys. When I was a wee teenager, sure, they were all the rage... but now, they're just annoying. It's like how I don't like the cute, innocent girls anymore... I like strong and fruitful characters!

I personally love pretty men in my anime/manga. Especially the flamboyant ones. xD Actually, I just like pretty men in general.

I like manly men just the teeniest bit more than I like girly men. I want to see more men wearing shear clothing.

I'm more into the pretty boys especially the cat like pretty boys like Ikuto from shugo chara. :drool: *fangirl squeel* and Train from black cat I'm into the mysterious type who has a really gentle side that is rarely shown *begins fangirl kyaaing and squeeing once again* That's the best type of guy in my opinion anyway *sigh*

I'm not into the overly pretty boys who could pass as girls but the fans of Tadase from shugo chara would disagree with me and probably Nagehiko fans as well (also a character from shugo chara) I know for a fact that both of them could pass as girls because one of them is a cross-dresser for family reasons (Nagehiko)and the other gets shoved into a skirt in the later chapters(Tadase)

I am a mix between the two... naturally watching anime you fall in love with the pretty boys...but if they incorporate a manly man that isn't the bad guy, kinda like him

i don't fall in love with characters, because they're not real and if you love them they won't love you back...though many people fall for the pretty boys more than the manly dude.

Trades change so dose the anime an manga. I hate to say it but pretty boys are al the rage in this day and time. I love to see pretty men. They are yummy candy for my eyes. But what are the chances of getting a sexy boy toy in real life. People that idolize pretty guys are looking for a fantasy to believe in, without being judged. The same thing applies for a very manly men. manly men might not be all that catching to they eye at first but they have unique draw with their rough looks and dominating attitudes. When ever I watch a manly men in anime/manga i love to see the fiction between the main characters.

Personalty i am quite attracted to personalities/looks of the anime/manga characters that half as equal balance between pretty boy/ manly man.
