"Alright then, I'll leave her to you and get some much needed sleep," He said patting Ivan on the head before locking the room and heading off to his own bed.

Ivan nodded and watched as he left. Then layed his head down on his paws and tryed to get some sleep. But was having no luck like usual and just thought about how nice it felt to be out side.

"Yes, some one named Drake does live here. What do you want?" an older lady's voice came out. "I need to speak with him." Hazel replied. "Do you realize that it is three in the morning young lady?" the voice said, opening the door. "Yes, but this is really important!" Hazel knew Drake would want to talk to her. "Well, at least come inside and have something to warm you up." The lady agreed.

Lenores head seared as if it were on fire and her head felt like a whole nation of very muscular giants were pounding on it with iron mallets, trying to break what little sanity she had left.

Madeleine lifted her head from the pillow and tried to push away the memories of the previous night.

I must have been hallucinating. I was exhausted and my mind played tricks on me.

But that didn't make any sense when it came to the injured girl or the flying rescue mission. Madeleine crawled from her bed in search of coffee.

She plodded into the hall and made her way to the doctor's lounge.

Lenre had no idea where she was and she honestly couldn't have cared less. She just wanted the pain to stop, she didn't care how...

Elly awoke still in the pidgeon coop ashe stretched a little as some of the pidgeons moved "ah, mornin ladies" she said as she shook a little and some feathers from her wings fell. she was glad the doctors didn't find her, she liked it up here... since she was with others that had wings.

Hazel excepted some tea the lady had given her as she went upstairs. Soon the maid came back down, followed by a man. "Ahh! Hazel! How are you?" He asked, walking in. "Drake!" Hazel said, putting down her tea and hugging him. "I'm fine, but I need you to get some one for me."

Madeleine poured her coffe and stumbled into the main room. She was looking for Rion. Maybe he could give her some idea of what she needed to be doing or who her appointments were with.

She thought a stroll on the roof would clear her head, make her a little less groggy. She walked up the stairs and onto the roof.

Ivan looked at Lenore and licked her hand. he knew that breaking something would hurt alot and wished that he could help. Ivan climed up onto the bed with her and layed down next to her, At lest her could keep her warm.

"I'm fine!!! I need you to call some one for me though." Hazel told him. "Sure! Who to?" Drake asked.

Elly heard steps outside, she held her breath 'oh crap!' she though as she had a mild panic attack. she sat with ehr back against the door as she pulled her knees up to her chest.

Madeleine thought she heard a scuttling noise when she walked onto the roof.

"Hello, is anyone there? My name's Madeleine Tiang. I'm a doctor here, are you hurt?"

She called out to the roof, not knowing if she was the one who needed to be locked up in here.

Rion woke to his alarm clock and turned it off before closing his eyes and going back to sleep. He felt he deserved to sleep in after a hectic night.

Elly breathed nervously as she shook a bit. the pidgeons cooed a little as one hopped over to Elly and pecked her leg "OWWW!" she yelled as she tried to cover her mouth so she could keep quiet.

Hazel was soon riding in a car to another house. Drake was beside her, and he knew this was important. Hazel also knew he knew about her powers. And her theory was proven right, he didn't think of her as a freak, he thought of her as a friend.

Madeleine heard the squeak of pain and walked towards the noise. A pigeon flew at her head as she approached the coop. She jumped and laughed off her surprise.

"There are definitely scarier things than pigeons around here." she mumbled to herself.

She turned by the coop and saw the winged girl from last night curled up at the door.

"Are you okay?" Madeleine asked. "Is everything alright?"

The car stopped. It was morning now, and Hazel had fallen asleep in the car. "Hazel, wake up." She heard Drake saying. She got up and rubbed her eyes. "We're here." he said, opening her door. She stepped out into the morning light. She was in front of a huge ware house, and she stepped toward it. "Freaks of nature, Unite!" she called. Some one opened the door. "Hazel!" a boy called.

Elly stared at the new doctor fightened and nervous. she shook alot as a small river of blood ran down her light calf. Elly just sat curled up and looking up at the strange person.

"Oh goodness, you're bleeding. Hold still just a minute." Madeleine snatched the gauze and tape out of the pocket of her lab coat. Luckily she found a sterile alcohol wipe tucked in the other pocket.

"This is going to sting a little," she said as she tor open the alcohol pad and wiped the girl's small injury with it. She quickly bandaged the puncture and taped it down.

"There you go, you're one hundred percent." Madeleine stood and smiled down at the girl, hoping that she hadn't scared her into silence.

Elly screamed a little when the alcohol hit her wound. she continued to lokk at the doctor "th...th...thank you" she said softly as she sat up.

"Sorry about the alcohol, but you'd be surprised at how dirty these birds are."

Madeleine offered the girl her hand, so she could stand up.

"What are you doing up here? From the looks of those clothes I'd say you spent the night. Why don't we go back indie, you can grab a shower and some fresh clothes, then if you want to come back up here, we could have a little breakfast picnic?"

Madeleine took in the girl as she spoke, hoping that she would say yes. Her clothes were filthy and her hair tangled. She needed to clean up and sleep, but Madeleine would settle for sanitary.

Elly looked at the doctor "i...i don't like it in that place" she said softly "but these walls are my confide and if i leave them, i can be killed" she looked back down at the floor "i like being up in the pidgeon coop, i'm with things that are similar to me"

"Oh honey, these domesticated rats with wings are nothing like you. How about this? If you take a shower, I'll drive you out to this hawk's nest I saw on the way in yesterday. Would you like that? I assure you the hawks are a lot more majestic and beautiful than these fat waddling vermin."

She smiled down at the girl.

Elly backed away from the doctor "how....how can you say that?" she said as she clenched her fist "these animals are just the same as us" she looked down at the ground "we are both shunned upon by humans, we are both treated as pests and we both have to struggle to survive pe things that try to kill us."
