I don't even know how to get to play that. Do you have to have fish in your tank?

No... you don't need to have a good aquarium to play.

Just go through some of the forums.... the aquarium is probably best.
Look at people's aquariums in their signatures. When you see one that says
"Booty Grab" on it, just click on it.

A separate window will come up and it will count down, and then you play by moving your cursor back and forth to make you (holding your overseer) go side to side, and catch all the coins!

Dodge the red items that come flying in, and make sure you hit the blue ones.
Look for a coin that is flat come flying out (doesn't happen all the time), because that may be a hermitcat. I've caught a few hermitcats in booty grab.

I meant that you move your mouse back and forth to make your overseer move...

Let me know who you are on Gaia. I've got a spare hermitcat and Aquarium Easter egg I can give you to help beef up your own aquarium.

If you put your own aquarium in your sig, then occasionally your aquarium will show up for booty grab for others to play. You get 1/4 the amount of gold that they win.

It's really addicting. xD There are some awesome threads in the the Aquarium forum that have multiple pages of really good tanks to farm.

Yes. I keep getting invited to join those... but by the time I sign on, it's usually on the 15th page or so. I figure that nobody goes through 15 pages before they get tired and quit...

Thulhu, I've gotten over 20,000 gold from people playing my aquarium, so it's really worthwhile to have yours beefed up a bit and in your signature

Now I want to go and check the chicken yodel out xD I don't even bother trying DDR stuff though, because my hand to eye co-ordination on stuff like that is really pathetic ><

Booty grab is ok, but I tired out it very quickly. I bought a mermaid and a turtle (and was given another turtle as a page prize) to put in my tank, but unless you're actively posting on Gaia it's not worth the outlay. I couldn't tolerate being forced to bump in the aquaruims forum just to get my tank out there, so it's only earnt 9300, certainly not worth the 200K or whatever it was that the contents cost me.

I only started seriously farming aquariums because I'd started up my AFK quest again as the price had dropped so much, but I then got one donated to me by a friend on here so I didn't need to be grabbing no booty any more >: D

Certainly don't miss it...going to check out chicken yodel now, if it's not funny, Anoni's in trouble!

Everyone I see talking about it says the Chicken Yodel is impossibly hard, I managed to beat it though xD
I can't finish my set though, the game won't stop lagging all the time making it impossible to do >< It was a miracle that it went smoothly for a while giving me enough time to get a couple items but it went back to being buggy and I can't get it to work D: I know I would be able to get the items easily since I love DDR/FFR games xD I play them all the time xD

Lol, well, Anoni's safe from me. As I've never even tried DDR before, I was utterly useless at it, so I didn't even get past the first round without giving up xD

WTF!!! And no-one yell at me for double posting, that other one is from hours ago, but I just cannot believe what Gaia is doing now! I'm clicking around doing the Daily Bribe on a mule and get a "notice" message in the notification bubble. Mildly wondered what it was going to be, as I hadn't seen that term used before for what looked like it was going to be a PM, I open it, and it's a goddamn advertising survey that enters you into a cash prize sweepstake for answering it!! I'm disgusted >_> It's asking for people's name and address!! WHAT THE HELL is Gaia's CEO thinking!

I'm even contemplating making a thread about it in the GCD, but I'll probably leave that to someone else.

Yeah, it's where people go to freak out about stuff. I'm suprised there's been nothing said about it yet, but I only got it on one account so maybe it's not been rolled out fully yet. I'm still disgusted though : /

Perhaps with them selling out at the rate they have been, it wasn't unexpected.

Oh, another possibility is that the general population of gaia is too young/ ignorant to realize how horrible it is. I must say, when nothing happened to me when I was a member there, Gaia was golden to me, I couldn't see the horrible reality and the disgusting actions of Gaia.

That type of sweepstakes does not interest me.

Silly is a bit of an understatement, Angel. They're actually breaking their own TOS by putting up a survey that's asking for people's personal details, because they specifically tell people not the give those out!

Meh, all sites are like that once they get big. Gaia was really awesome in its infancy, almost like Menewsha but then it got swamped. I still enjoy going on it tho, there's just more to do over there. I find Gaia's like the big city, swamped with commercialization and loads of people. Mene's more like the countryside, nicer and filled with people that have manners.

I got that notice this morning and promptly went to site feedback to see what that was all about. I hear the same notice was made quite a while ago, back when the skittles sponsorship first started (it's part of the skittles sponsorship from what someone has said). I guess they're no longer doing direct-to-sponsor site advertisements, but they had to stick with the original contract for this particular sponsor, and so, no warning, just a link.

Still, I don't think it's very wise to link everyone like that. There was no way in hell I was giving out my personal information to a site that looks that sketchy! :/

How strange.
I haven't gotten that notification, but then I haven't signed onto Gaia for a day or so.

There's no way I give out that type of information...

I got it when I went on yesterday to check my marketplace listings. It was like suddenly being transported to the worse part of facebook ads :XP *shudders*
