I kinda miss gaia, but sadly I didn't pay attention to a link and thought I got signed off and bla bla..I'm ashamed to say that but it did kick my habit..though I might fall into the same habit here.

And around the time it happened it was for me becoming impossible to stay in RP's long or for that matter find one. I think around 08 Gaia for me went down hill.

That's the Michael's Memory, it has multiple poses.
I've gotten two from the Daily Chance, but I haven't used it on anything.
I wasn't expecting Gaia to do anything like that, but whatever.

There is a glitch with daily chance that it is called sequined glove - one of the poses - when you get it in the daily chance, but called Michael's Memory when you look at it in your inventory.

I like the Micheal's Memory item, but oh lordy stuff hit the fan in the site feedback when that item came out. :gonk:

I really like the new items. (Unfortunately, I keep buying them--deciding that I don't like them that much--and then selling them. XD) Something that I noticed; they're different, but does the "Dapper Gent" set remind anyone else of the "Dashing Gentleman" set? :lol:

I love the new update, but I've completely lost my Gaia-spiration. It happened some months ago. I just suddenly found that I didn't want to be there any more... not only was I coming across a lot of rude and/or immature users, I couldn't get excited about shop updates, questing or creating new avatars... I think it's Gaia burnout. It's the second time it's happened to me, the first time was in early 2007. It took me about 6 months to get over then, but I don't know if I'll go back this time. I think I'm becoming one of those users who laments the fact that Gaia has changed since the "good old days"... XD

I still swing by at least once a week to check on the newest announcements, but I'm not active on there at all. Not on any of my 6 accounts...

I might have been a bit too Gaia-obsessed at some points, so this is... a nice break. I don't have a site that I'm constantly wanting to check on or anything right now, so I'm kind of freer in how I spend my free time? /should never have gotten that obsessed in the first place...

I love it, yet hate it.
It's no longer a community, it's a machine.
An unstoppable uncontrollable machine.
Full of the illiterate and uneducated newbies and of the hateful and rude oldies.
Both sides of the 'story' are corrupt.
I personally only stay on Gaia for some of my very close friends whom have yet to 'relocate', and for the art, which despite everything else is worth staying for.
Some places in Gaia it seems are yet to be touched though, certain guilds and such are manageable.
The GD has gone to crap.
The CB has gotten unbearable.
Hopefully something happens to save the rest.

Oh, and the phising is terrible.
I click on a thread and have to clear my cookies and change my password.

Yeah, when I'm on Gaia on my home desktop, going on Gaia has a tendency to just randomly cause Firefox to stop working and shut down. I think it's some of the ads. Funny thing is, it only happens on this one computer.

@Rainbow: If you're having trouble with the ads and you use Firefox, you could try the Ad Block Plus add-on. I use it and it blocks all the ads on Gaia, as far as I know.

Yeah, I've talked to my dad about downloading that for the computer...but we've just never gotten around to actually doing it.

I downloaded that, because Firefox used to crap out on me when I was playing on zOMG, it doesn't any more ^^

Plus when I run Spybot, it doesn't find anywhere near as much spyware any more :D

So I actually bought gcash today for the first time in a reeeeeeeeally long time to buy the new Cash items.

But I'll be damned if those fantasy item aren't awesome. Not to mention the fact that they were NOT put in another RIG.

Not being in a RIGged item is my favorite part of that update. ^u^ :heart:

What do you guys think about this month's MCs? The fan from the Koi somehow reminds me of the large fan (forgot the exact name) on Mene and the Black Wolf (or Dark Wolf, forgot which) hoodie looks like the one from the Outlaw Wolf Pup...but more detailed I suppose. It might be my imagination but I think this month's MCs look a bit more detailed than the ones from a few months ago.

I'm not really that excited about either of them--although the pond from the Koi is rather nice. The fan's kind of nice, too--I see what you mean about the Oriental Fan, but they're definitely different--but I would almost definitely never use it.

Also, I just went into the Exchange on Gaia. :gonk: SO FAST. I have never gotten replies in any exchange thread ANYWHERE that fast. Crazy. *dies*

I like the pond too, but it was a bit too...er, high up in the background. I guess the devs were trying to make it look as though it were a little bit further back from the avatar, but somehow I just think it looks weird. :S
While the fan's pretty, I don't think I'd ever use it either...my avatar's too dark-themed to be able to use anything that colorful; it'd look too out of place xD;;

Yeah, I get what you mean about the Exchange. The threads are practically bouncing up and down the pages at every refresh .___.

I like both DIs this month actually, but I see myself getting more use out of the koi.

I also thought the pond looked strange, but once I saved and saw it against a white background, it was better. :)
