Goodness, let's keep from getting too heated in here, okay? There's really no need to become argumentative.

First off, the stores will be revamped here, so that things are better organized. It's just going to take time, like any of the new features that come about. :yes: We don't have an ETA on it, so patience is a virtue. :D But I can tell you that it will come.

As an '03 member of Gaia, I have never had an issue with my accounts being banned, and in fact, I have had very few problems with the moderators or administration on Gaia in general.

But I have moved away from Gaia because I no longer can afford to keep up with their item releases. I used to donate at least $50 a month to Gaia, but I'm no longer invested in it like I was. I was trying to get at least one of every EI, but I don't make enough gold to buy them, and my hard-earned money now needs to go to real life instead of online pixels.

I miss the community spirit of the olden days, and I have no desire to have all these new features that they're bringing out. I just want to dress my avatar, post in the forums and maybe play a game once in awhile. Most of the rest of the site's features are pointless to me. I can see why younger users might appreciate some of the other features -- towns for example -- but it doesn't appeal to me at all.

I do love the B&C community on Gaia, and that's where I found my niche. But I rarely leave B&C, and when I do, it's to GCD or SF.

Anyways, I think Menewsha has learned a lot from its predecessor. It's good there was a site like Gaia to learn from. An example of this is our multi-equip items. One thing I hate about Gaia is that when I buy expensive items with several poses, I can only use one pose in it at a time. That's ridiculous. I do not have the gold or $$ to buy multiple of these items, and it vexes me. I know why they set up their system that way, but in the end, I feel that the Menewsha system of multiequip items is far superior. We may not make as much money off our items, but in the end, our users are happier with the way we treat our multiequip items.

I wasn't verbally abusing you. I was looking at the fact that my social group consists mostly of gamers and nerds, people who are more willing to spend money on digital entertainment already. For us it's not as big a deal to spend money on a website. The people you know might see it as more of a frivolity. That is all I was thinking. If anyone's friends are assholes I would openly admit that it's probably mine anyway. We're mean to our roleplay characters.

Well, I like both Gaia and Menewsha.

I went on Gaia a lot, but they've made some changes that make it more difficult to bid for items I want, so I don't like it as much. It basically means I can't make gold as fast, which upsets me deeply. I just found this site recently, and I like it a lot better. I enjoy the fact that the forum posting is easier and more profitable. I also like that the avitars are a lot cooler here. :D

The only new thing I like about Gaia is the Seracila Pendant. I have high hopes for it. ^^
I love this site much better though. Many more mature people that can have intelligent long replies to posts.

Lizabeth: You can make gold pretty fast on Gaia if you play booty grab. :yes: At least if you find the right booty grab threads...

Tutela: I have high hopes for the Seracila Pendant too. Unlike the Case of Pietro...which is now the Cold Case of Pietro.

Ya... I want to know what is up with that Case of Pietro. It hasn't evolved in over two months :/ Good thing I don't own it.

I just bough the second generation of that pendent today since I made like a good amount selling my old unused zOMG rings. Figured someone else would enjoy having them more than I do since I don't play zOMG anymore... except during event, but even then I have the rings that are soul bound because of that rule that came in last year.

I think the Case of Pietro only evolved once...and then they ignored it for two months and counting. ._.

I've been off and on Gaia since 03' and I still have semi-neutral feelings on it. I think the community on Menewsha is better and much more mature overall. I don't feel like sifting through a million dumb threads to find one I'll like. I enjoy the shops and the games a lot though. I really hope Mene gets an easier marketplace system someday, but it's not really a huge deal to me. Basically, I like both sites for very different reasons. The gaia cash shop is pretty lame and not really worth the money for me. At least you can earn "free" cash though.

Do you mean earning free cash by those offers? Because those things can give you viruses and spam. o_o

The Titan's Seed has actually been evolving again. The Case of Pietro will start again, too.

Yes, I use an old email account for them. I only do the offers that ask you to put an email on the first page. I won't go through each page of the others to possibly get some cash. I wouldn't generally recommend it though. (although I've never gotten a virus from one)

Ugh, I'm just really dissatisfied in general about Gaia's EI evolution schedule (or, more accurately, lack thereof).

I noticed that, its got some brown forms. They should make it a seasonal item. That would be cool. summer/spring/Winter/and Fall. that would work well with the seed I think ^^

Although they probably won't be able to update along with the seasons...fall is almost over and they only have two brown ones. xD
I just looked to check, and I noticed that the two brown ones have "Earth-" before the name. I think it's going to be based on the elements!

I would hope they don't update with the season if they did that O_o That would be like one or two updates every 4 months. Though at the rate the Case of Pietro is going that one just might make the schedule

ya, that one hasn't changed since the 16th of last month. It's supposed to evolve every three weeks, but it's now on it's 4th....

Wow, it's kind of sad when EI's, the things that get the most attention on Gaia, aren't getting much attention at all. But it's probably because they've simply made too many to regularly update them...

I think it is because the artist who is doing it does not like to make items. That is what I heard about them. The Reve didn't evolve for a while because the artist had been on vacation. Then the Halloween event came along to take up a lot of time. I think they will have the Reve evolve soon now that the event is over.
