I tried to make a female avatar over there, but the face is so masculine that it looks like a dude with balloons stuffed down his shirt. :feesh: I tried adding long hair, but it didn't help. So now it looked like a very poorly crossdressed hippie. >.< I gave up at that point and erased it.

Although I think they do tend to look a lot better once you get some items on them. At first I was kind of, "eh. . . " about their avatars, but once I started dressing mine up, it began to appeal to me much more.

I was worried because of statements that others have made about the mods, that's all.

Love Roliana~ It's my favourite avatar site by far. : ) Ugly avatars? I think they have some of the nicest to be honest. Unless you guys are using the starter hair and some of the reaaaally old items. xD If so, I guess I could see it a little. But the items have improved a lot in my opinion. : )

& Wow. About the mods, that's so completely wrong (at least from what I've seen). xD The mods on Roli are really nice and helpful and I can't see them banning anyone unless that person repeatedly breaks the rules. Of course, this is only from my experiences. Maybe it's been different for you guys. : (

Yeah, mods have been really helpful to me whenever I ask questions or am lost on something. o.o;;; I would never think they'd go ahead and ban someone unless that person was breaking all sorts of rules left and right.

Hey, has anyone else been having trouble getting onto Roliana today?
I typed in the url and it's just telling me it can't find the webpage. Is it down for maintenance or something?

I was told that their Twitter or Facebook (not sure which one) account said the site will probably be down until Monday or so.

Apparently a bunch of mods/artists/pixel artists quit Roliana for "personal reasons". I wonder what happened.

My first suspicion would be "personal conflicts" with the new owner(s). :lol: Are there two owners? :shock: The whole MrLove and MrWar thing... Confused me. :P I don't get on Roli quite often, in case you haven't noticed. Usually only there to collect my daily reward of gold, or whatever.

But yeah. The transfer of ownership is fresh enough for me to suspect it's somehow concerning that. :lol:

I'm convinced MrLove and MrWar are the same person XD they have done awesome things for roli. [also find it odd that they go camping ... but I think it's weird when any one goes camping ..] The new event looks like it's going to be fun and bright with the rave theme and I love the new monthly items they look great this month.

I love the banner and background change. The darker colors look great, I think. And so does the event ^_^

Kai just posted that they're uploading some of the event items now, so they should be out pretty soon.

She also said that they won't have any cost 1K of the kandi. (At least I think that's what she said)

I play Roli a little more than Mene simply because I am on more threads there, I go by the name of Aëlorgalen on there. It means "Dawn Flower", and anyone who knows where it comes from, I give you props. What keeps me coming back to Mene however are the games and some of the people I have met. Roli it's a lot of the items, and the people, some of their games are okay.

I think Roli's avatars are ugly. The topics are kind of dull and it's hard to earn gold. I only log on to get the daily prize.

The event items are pretty good!

Oh Roli. . .I hate it. I'm actually working on getting my account deleted right now. Heres to hoping that it's possible. Too much drama and fake people. There's actually a group of girls who have a vendetta against me there over something really stupid. People there are definitely not as nice as they pretend to be. I'm so happy to never go back there.

I would advise against trying to do that. It is not really a good use of your efforts. On one count I do not believe they delete accounts. At least it used to be policy that they would avoid taking such an action. Secondly if you feel you are being harassed, you should speak to someone on their staff about it. Contrary to what you may or may not believe, there are most certainly members on their staff who care about the well being of the members. I still recognize some staff members from when I was a mod there and unless things have drastically changed I would certainly call them reasonable and approachable.
