We would have loved to have an event - but most people were here and at every other avatar sites' events. So why hold an event that people are going to be stressing over? Events are suppose be FUN! Tre is 100% correct, events take a lot of time to prepair, even mini ones. All the artist on site are trying to repixel all the items for the new system. It's going to be one hellz of a grand opening I tell you that! <3 Hold onto your keyboards cause it's going to be made of pure! unadulterated! WIN!... ((and a half! and a bag of chips and ducks.... just because YOU KNOW!!!))

Ah, the updates for Avaricia sound exciting! I wish the staff a lot of luck. ^^ I'll definitely swing by to support and check out the changes. :3

To get gift rape on Gaia Online I would suggest going to the Gambino hat store, buying the gift box hat and then post "I am Free" over and over again in the chatterbox. If that doesn't do it, I don't know what will.

Some kid made a thread asking about gift wrap and typoed, that's all there was to it. They subsequently got laughed at by a great deal of people, and the Gaia staff went as far as to put the thread into the memorable threads forum so said kid could continue to be laughed at. Nice of them, right?

And thus rings even more truth to the reasons why dislike that avatar community.
Not to mention they take every possible opportunity to rob you blind... on that note!

Actually, I'm just popping in for a second. xD Taking a break from working like crazy.

Basically, aside from Ava stuff, I'm in charge of the cosplay department at a local convention. We've moved to this big water park resort instead of a teensy hotel, and I'm going all out in preparations and trying to get that organized. So I'm going between email, PM's, photoshop and ava right now. Fun times. :P

Gaia makes fun of its members all the time. Fleep is downright famous for cutting down users :| Gaia used to be a nice, respectful community, but now...blargh.

So I was scooting around Avaricia today and stumbled over an old thread. It was a huge quote about 911 and whatnot - don't know why I felt compelled to read it - but the very end part was a bit about taking the flight number of the first plane to hit one of the Twin Towers and going on Word. So, whatever, I do it, and my internal voice (Which for some reason sounded like Achmed the Dead Terrorist >_>;; ) was all "Holy crap DX"

What's freakier is when those things happen at odd times. You could've looked at it at exactly 11:11 and looked at the clock at the same time. x__x Things like that really freak me out.
