Do you believe in ghosts or other paranormal things, like fairies, aliens, urban legends, creatures like sasquatch (bigfoot). I'm interested in seeing if anyone believes in these sorts of things. Also feel free to post any kinds of things you know about these paranormal animals or events. You can post stories of strange things that have happened or things you've seen but you've never heard of.

I believe in ghosts. My family has...sort of a sensitivity to things like that. We feel the presence of such things more acutely than others.
I have a very healthy respect/fear of such things.

I actually had my grandmother(on the not sensitive side of the family)send me a haunted photo in an email once. Of course, she didn't think anything of it, probably thought it was some special effects thing. But a reaction that strong doesn't come from a fake picture. It took me weeks to recover from it and I was carrying my pouch of rosemary, garlic, sea salt, and tigers eye with me for a good month before I felt comfortable enough to stop.
I know it sounds crazy, but it's true.

Also, when I was younger, I woke up in the middle of the night once and there was a woman sitting in my chair watching me. The surprise of it frightened me and she left. But then I was fine, because I felt strongly that she wasn't there to harm me. Truth is, I believe she might have been my great grandmother checking in on me. (I had never met my great grandmother, but I've seen pictures, and it looked like her.)

Wow, thanks for not posting the picture here. I'm curious about it but then again. . .I rather not see it if I'm going to be freaking out later, plus I don't have anything to keep ghosts away.

That's creepy. . .one time I thought there was something in my room but it was just my dog under my bed.

Ohhhhh yes. I've even seen a picture of one on by best friend's phone. It was freaky. Her friend, who's a guy, went into her house {haunted with like 10 ghosts} was standing at the door, saw something large and blurry pass by his shoulder, and according to my best friend, screamed likie a girl and ran all the way home. It was actually hilarious, and kinda scary.

So it's actually possible for a picture to be haunted? Even through electronics like computers and cell phones?

I believe in ghost but I have never seen one.

Now I don't believe in fairies or creatures like Sasquatch but I think our universe is to vast for us to be the only living things ( that includes everything on the planet)

I just think there is something out there.

What is a paranormal animal? Unicorns? Big Foot?

a paranormal animal would be something like the new jersey mothman, the loveland frog, the chupacabra, bigfoot, yeti, devil's pets which are just animals that have parts from other animals. . .other stuff too, or demonic animals, like some people have been out in the woods and they see huge black horses or bulls that are impossible to kill and they have glowing red eyes.

Hmmm. Well I don't believe in those either I suppose.

Most things like that I want to see it for myself or someone has to capture the creature.

The fact that people keep feeding people the " big foot is real and I caught him!" line and then when more investigation is done its a hoax.

It gets tiring.

But since I love science I like the idea behind aliens.

I cant trust people saying " I was abducted and so was my cow, Daisy" That always seems to be a lie or...quite obviously fake.

Haha I know what you mean, and when they get some evidence that could be sasquatch, like real physical evidence then the farthest they can trace it is that it's some sort or primate.

People think that the loveland frog may be an alien because people have reported sightings of a frog like creature that stands between 2 and 3 feet tall and are often in groups of three and reports have said that they've seen them holding remotes with sparks coming out of them.

I believe in the paranormal, always have. I have had experiences with orbs, spirits and the unexplainable. When I was younger I would hear whispers and would see colored glowing mists. I've taken pictures and video with orbs in them, and yes I did check to make sure it wasnt dust or a bug or anything like that. I never saw a full apparition though, but I would love to one day. I plan on taking a visit to the Gettysburg battlefield and see if I can find anything.

I somewhat believe in faeries and mythical beings. I do and dont believe in things like big foot and yeti and nessy. Its just to hard to explain my reasonings.

Aliens just have to be real, we cant be the sole beings in the universe, that would be silly. I have a huge theory about the alien issue but dont quite feel like explaining it on here. lol.

It always goes back to " We thought it was big foot..but its looks like it was a monkey. Oh well "

I have never heard of this Frog. :o I'll have to look it up.

I'm always slightly amused when I see people standing in a field with signs that say " We heart U " and wearing tinfoil and ET shirts.

It makes me laugh. I doubt the aliens are thinking "ET!zOmG! I love that dude!"

They are probably thinking " LOL, silly humans. Were here to blow you all up" or
" .____.; Riiiiiiight. Humans are not as smart as we thought. Bob, turn this UFO around"

I think its funny. I loved watching X Files when I was a kid =3

I'd like to read your theory on aliens, and I also believe that they have to exist maybe they look different than we imagine but they have to exist the universe is way to big to only have one planet with living organisms on it. It's impossible for there to be so much space with nothing in it. Cause we can't even explore most of space so it would be useless just to have that huge space just for us.

The closest star to here is so far away that it could be the sun to other planets with aliens on them and we just would never know because of the distance.

Haha that's funny I wish I would see dumb people in corn fields wearing ET shirts. As if aliens are going to think that's so kool that they're wearing a shirt with some alien from a movie that probably looks nothing like them. Plus ET. . .honestly that movie makes him look like a moron. He's a disgrace to all aliens.

I know. People have issues.

I never really thought about what he looked like but I guess that's the progression of films.

There was ET then there was Men In Black.

I have a small stuffed ET I had as a child. I don't know if I have the heart to throw it out or to sell it.

( So some idiot can gift wrap it and plan to give it to the aliens as a welcoming present? No. I could never do that)

(Off Topic-ish)
Do you like to read? Do you like books with Magic in them?

Edit- I love your Gaia avvi. I want those Guitars :[

I like to read just that there aren't that many good books lying around here and I don't want to go to the library. I don't ever have money either so I'm not going to buy books. . .I've never read a book with magic but I would love too for sure I think about 2 years ago I started learning a few magic tricks they're really interesting and something that may be simple to you cause you know how to do it can really amaze people and make them think for a long time.

Thanks, I changed it to a girl avi just to see what I could do with it also I got the guitars like for 50k less than what they're going for now cause I bought them when everything in gaia was worth almost nothing. I also got a demonic pendant for around 250k and recently sold it for 515k. I need to make that kind of profit cause I constantly blow gold on stupid things or waste it away with gift boxes and other gaia chance items. Or I give gold and items to my friends but really none of them are on that much anymore. :[

You have never read a book about Magic? :[

Well I suppose its hard to recommend anything since I don't know what your into.
I don't know if you like the idea of Harry Potter but you should really pick that up.

but the book I was going to recommend is called So You Want to Be a Wizard
I don't know how many books are in the series but the second book has a lot of space stuff. It pretty odd how some of the aliens are put together and it was a little hard to picture.

But I really like this series. Anyway my point was to tell you about the series so you could read that book. ( don't read any of the others until you read the first. You'll be extremely confused)

Note: This book series is not like Harry Potter "wizards" at all.

Ghosts: I suppose its possible. Maybe. I've never seen one, so... meh. There have been billions of people who have been dead, you'd think there'd be more sightings (at least a common occurence!)if there were so many of them.

Fairies: No.
Aliens: No. It's possible, but I don't think they're visiting our planet and abducting drunk farmers and cows.
Urban legends/sasquatch: No, that's to entertain the gullible tourists and make them hand over their cash. :sarcasm:

Of course I believe in ghost. I've experienced too many things not to believe in them. I've heard voices and unexplainable music, seen mysterious flashing lights and mysterious mist. I'm also sensitive to that sort of thing. I've never seen an actually apparition, but I hope that I will one day.

Some friends of mine and I have actually done some ghost hunts and have many EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenonmenom) from them. Some of it is really creepy. Also one time a ghost followed us back to are dorm and it had it's hands on my one friends shoulders. You could just tell because her shoulders were ice cold. We were also able to communicate with it using a digital voice recorder.

Actually, I do. Very strongly.

I am 75% sure that my house, which is my grandparents' house, is haunted. I don't think its a harmful haunting, just a curious or calm spirit. But I believe it to by my Great Grandmothers because my Grandma has a lot of her items stored around the house.

I wanted to test if anyone else felt an eerie presence about my house. So I invited a few friends over without telling them anything about my house. I'd have them sleep in the living room (which is where most things happen), and then ask them things the next morning.
One of my friends said he COULD NOT sleep. At all. He claimed to feel an aura of cold air on the end of the couch but no where else, he heard whispers and mumblings. He also heard our sliding glass door jiggle as if someone was trying to come in, but it was locked.

Oh, and my teacher in college seems to claim her house is haunted as well. She sent me this picture of a photo taken at a karaoke party and something was spotted in the background:

Everyone said it looks like a tall man with a muscular figure and horns similar to a mountain goat. Where this thing is said to be standing is in her backyard.
This creeps me out o_o

I believe in ghosts :3 Infact I didn't notice until I thought about it, that my house is very paranormal. My TV turns off at random, things drop, unexplained coldness, etc. But I was never scared or anything, LOL. My mom said when her sister died she saw her floating in front of her bed one time.

That picture is weird. It seems like you're able to tell what it is the more you look at it. It looks like a tall guy with like huge horns and the face to me looked like a goat, I can't see the muscles though. .

I myself am unsure as to whether I believe in ghosts, fairies, demons, etc. I believe that every being leaves behind an imprint of their personality or something when they die, but further than that, I do not really believe it.

The most paranormal experience I have ever had was before I began to live with my father in Columbus. I was living in Ashland, OH with my mother and stepfather (and my elder brother), and I always slept on the bottom bunk of my bunkbed. Well, one night I got up to go to the bathroom (I was three or four at the time), and I was walking through the dining room, heading to the bathroom, when I saw a shadow out of the corner of my eye. A moving shadow. I screamed, thinking someone had broken into the house, and all of the lights turned on as my stepfather and mother woke up and came to see what was going on. I continued to look, but there was nothing there. I believed in ghosts from then on, but over the years, that belief has, in fact, faded.

But as of last week, I believe my belief is flaring up again, as I was at an old park with my friend and her dog. We were playing with the dog by some trees, when I all of a sudden caught a glimpse of something watching us through the trees. I froze up, unable to move, speak, or look away, for fear that it would follow us back to the car or something or perhaps even agitate whatever it was. My friend asked me what was wrong, but I didn't say anything, still too afraid to speak. I glanced at her, hoping she could see it too, but when I looked back, whatever it was was gone. Ever since, I have been extremely jumpy, even going so far as to wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, thinking that whatever it was is in my room with me.

@Rose-Mclane - Actually, yes I have considered doing that. It would be a great experience just to visit a place like that let alone find anything paranormal. Things like that with historical backgrounds have always interested me, and they interest me even more when stories of unearthly beings are told.

@fly-man - My theory is, well to say the least, pretty far out their. I personally believe that the human race came from another planet. That is mainly because if you look at the animals on this earth there are alot of them, but none that have the same intelligence as us. However alot of the animals on the planet have close to the same intelligence within their species. Also there are alot of animals that have species that act and look somewhat like them. Say, rodents; they all pretty much look similar and have similar intelligence. However the human race seems to not have anything with any similarities. Yes some people say we are related to monkeys, I can't see that. There are too many things that are out of place. Also we seem to be some of the only creatures that look up to the sky and yearn for something out there. It all may sound silly but it's an interesting idea to say the least. Haha, now I know I am going to be called a crack-pot. One day I hope to write a book or something telling about my theories, mainly as a form of entertainment for people to read.
