"Of course love, we may also get some info from the locals if there is an inn we can spend the night at here" he said as he looked around them. Everyone was in different looking clothes than those of Labrynna, some desert themed, while others more western, it was truly new to him. They were running around, some carrying crates, others ran off to the many stalls and shops to buy their daily things, the rest were heading back to their towns when they finished shopping. As they passed through the stalls, the owners were shouting what they were selling to everyone passing by, "priceless jewels! Exotic fruits! Wonderful clothes!" Were some of the things they heard.

"Anything interest you love?" Link asked Gabri, trying his best to hold on to both her and Cody, he didn't want to lose them in the crowd. Cody flew up and perched on Link's shoulder, that nest wasn't the best place to be right now.

Gabri's eyes seemed to search for something. She didn't want to buy anything while Link was near. She pretended to be interested in the clothes and let go of Link's hand to unfold a few. Once Gabri's hand was free, she wandered further into the stall to get a better look at the things they had.

Soon her eyes spotted the thing she had been searching for. She approached it and looked about to see if Link was watching her. When she confirmed he wasn't, she picked up the small belt accessory. She went to the shopkeeper and purchased it.

Putting it behind her back, she approached Link. "I have something for you and Cody, my love." she said, smiling. Gabri brought her hands in front of her to show Link her gift. It looked like a diamond shaped woven basket, small in size. It had a small hole cut into it and belt loops on the back. "I figured it would be easier to carry Cody in this. And you can wear it on your belt."

While Gabri was shopping, Link took a look at the jewel stand, "hello sir, what would you like?" Asked the stall owner in his native Indian accent, Link scanned everything until he found a necklace. It was gold, with pearls stuck in the pendant that had a semi small diamond attached to it, "wow.... how much is this?" Asked Link, "oh, that is a very nice choice my friend, that'll be 1,000 gold please" said the owner in a very unsurprised sounding voice. Link bit his lip, but thanks to his work in the castle, he had a lot of money to spend, so he gave him practically a quarter of his wallet, his wallet was the one he kept from Hyrule. It was never heavy, but when you open it, you see hundreds of pounds of money in it, it was puzzling, but Link shrugged it off and focused on the gift he bought Gabri.

He heard footsteps and quickly saw Gabri in the corner of his eye, "can you wrap this up for me?" Link asked the stall owner, he gave him the necklace and the owner turned away to place it in a box. Link turned toward Gabri, hands behind his back, the owner placed the nicely wrapped box in Link's free palm, his other hand was holding Cody's nest. "Hello love" said Link, sounding nervous, when she showed him her gift, his nervousness faded, he smiled happily, "aww, thank you love, I love it, also, I got something for you too." He revealed the box to her, he accepted her gift and placed his in her open hand.

He wasted no time and placed the contents from Cody's old nest into Gabri's gift, Cody quickly flew down and got comfortable in it, he loved it and he chirped happily. Link smiled and attached the nest to his belt, he then gave Gabri a sweet kiss and stood back as he waited for her to open up his gift.

Gabri smiled as Cody got comfortable in his new home. She looked down at the box, now in her hand, and gently began to unwrap it. Her fingers moved a little slow to her, she was eager to see what gift Link had chosen for her. Soon she made it to the box itself and was opening it.

The sun gleamed off the gold and shone back from the diamond. "Oh Link. Its beautiful!" Gabri Ella exclaimed and then wrapped her arms around Link's neck. She turned around and held the necklace out to him. "Put it on me?"

He gave her a quick hug and smiled happily before she turned around, glad she loved it, he nodded his head and helped put it on her, pretty soon she was wearing it. Link gave her another hug from behind and he leaned his head over her shoulder, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Perhaps we should get some food, I don't know about you, but I'm hungry again..." Link looked around the busy market, he then saw a sign that had the word 'inn' on it, so he assumed that'd be their next stop, he then focused on the old nest in his hands.

A little kid was running past them, "hey kid!" Said Link, the kid stood in front of Link, "want a free hat?" He handed him the hat, the kid smiled and put it on, Link was shocked that he even liked that ugly thing, "thanks mister!" The kid said, running off again, Link laughed a little and turned back to Gabri, "shall we go to that inn over there, love?" Link asked her, pointing toward it.

Gabri's fingers touched the pendent on her necklace as Link placed it around her neck. It looked so pretty. "I am getting a little hungry" she answered his question, rubbing her stomach.

She smiled at the boy that ran off with wearing Link's old hat. Gabri looked in the direction he pointed. She looked the inn over from their place and nodded. "Let's try it out."

He chuckled a little, "alright love" he held her hand and walked over to the inn, trying to get all three of them through the crowds in one piece, he sighed with relief when they finally reached the door. Taking a step inside, its like they were still out in the crowds, active and noisy, it should come as expected though, he shut the door behind them and scanned the room. Thankfully, there was one free table open, so he walked over to it, pulling a chair out for Gabri, when she sat down he pushed it in for her, then sat in the chair next to her, he moved Cody's nest to his side so he could relax better than him being on Link's lap.

A waitress came by, pulling out a notepad to write down their orders, "what'll you have?" She asked them, not sounding very cheery or excited, its understandable, being in such a busy place. "I'll have the chicken I suppose, oh, and a plate of small fruits, please" the waitress looked at him strangely, then she looked at Gabri, "what about you missy?" Her voice sounded a bit hoarse.

Gabri smiled up at the waitress, trying to brighten the young woman's day. "I'll have the beef, please. With steamed potatoes," she said, still smiling. "And a water as well, please."

She gave Gabri an unchanged look, she had her same, emotionless stare, "it'll be ready in a few minutes" she said, walking back to the kitchen to get their food. Link took this opportunity to look down and check on Cody, he was taking a nap in his new nest, Link smiled sweetly, happy he was alright. "should we wake Cody for lunch, love? I ordered that fruit for him..." He asked Gabri, looking back down at Cody, he would feel bad, waking his friend up, but he didn't want him to miss lunch either. Pretty soon the waitress came back with their food, she gave them both large glasses of water, "there ya go, enjoy" she walked away to tend to other customers.

Link watched her go, then focused on his and Cody's food, two large, boneless chicken breasts, cooked to perfection, the skin was golden brown, there was also a mixed greens salad on the side. "Wow, this looks great" he said, his stomach growled a little bit, he laughed nervously, but he focused on Cody instead for now, he rubbed the top of Cody's head with his finger. "Hey Cody" he said softly, "its time for lunch" Cody chirped and slowly woke up, the smell of food made him fly up out of his nest and land on the table.

Link pushed the plate of fruit over to Cody, it had blueberries, raspberries and grapes on it, he started to munch on the raspberries. Link smiled and began to eat his own lunch.

The waitress placed a plate of roast beef and potatoes before her. It looked and smelled amazing. Gabri took a sip of her water as she watched Cody start on his fruits. "I think he likes being with us," she said, her eyes on Cody but her voice towards Link.

She lifted her knife in one hand and fork in the other. She cut a piece of the beef and placed it in her mouth. It was so good that it seemed to melt in her mouth. "This is so amazing!" Gabri exclaimed excitedly.

He had the same reaction with his food as Gabri, so he savored every bite, making sure it would last, however, Cody wasn't as caring about the way his food tasted, he ate it at a rapid pace. He stuck his beak inside a blueberry after the raspberries were gone, sucking out its contents, he repeated the same method with the rest of them and the grapes. Pretty soon he was sitting on the table, with a big belly and fruit juice on his face. He was so full that he couldn't even fly, Link laughed a little and picked Cody up, wiping the juice off his face gently with his napkin. He placed Cody gently back into his nest, Cody quickly got comfortable and fell asleep again to digest his meal, Link ate the last bite of his food and sat back, he sighed happily.

"That was great, what do you say we rent a room, love? If we're here we might as well relax, right?" He drank his water as he waited for an answer, he could hear Cody snoring, he almost choked from laughing and he coughed a little bit.

Gabri finished off her roast beef and potatoes. They had tasted so wonderful. Once she finished, she looked at Link while he talked of staying here. "It would be nice to rest and relax after all the walking of yesterday." she said with a smile as she began to drank her water.

"Alright love" he said smiling, then he finished off his water and left some gold pieces on the table as a tip for the waitress, hoping that would help cheer her up. He stood up and walked over to Gabri, helping her up, he gave her a kiss on the cheek and walked over to a man behind a counter, near some stairs. "Excuse me, sir, do you have any spare rooms left?" Link asked him, he looked away from his book to stare at them, he put down the book, revealing his big, bushy mustache, "we have one room left, the couples suite. You may have it for 100 gold pieces, I'm sorry, but it is our most expensive and well furnished room" Link didn't care about the price, he handed him the money and was given the key.

"Thank you sir" said Link, giving him a short bow, he held Gabri's hand and headed up the stairs with her, the couple's suite was on the highest floor, with two doors. He unlocked them both and pushed them open, revealing the room to them, it was like they were back in their old, tower room, only more fitting for royalty and bigger, gold and red colors around them. "Wow..." said Link in amazement, he slowly walked in with Gabri, he let her hand go for a second to find a place to put Cody's nest for the day. There was an red stained glass vase on a table by their bed, it had no flowers in it, so he gently held onto Cody's nest and place it in the open top, a perfect fit.

Luckily Cody didn't wake up from his nap, so he stepped back slowly and sat on the bed, it was so fluffy and soft you practically sunk into it, he had a look of satisfaction on his face. "Love, you gotta try this bed, its amazing" he said, sounding relaxed, he was laying back on the bed, using his hands as a pillow.

Gabri didn't say anything as Link made the transaction. She walked with him to the room. After the doors opened, she gasped at the sight. She laughed quietly as Link sank into the bed. "Alright," she said and walked over to the bed. Gabri sat next to him. "It does feel nice...It will be very comfortable to sleep on." She laid next to him, cuddling on him.

He chuckled and cuddled with her, he sat up, gently picked her up and placed her on the bed so her head was resting on one of the comfy pillows. He laid next to her, cuddling with her again and kissing her, "so love, how do you feel about our traveling so far?" Link asked her, giving her another kiss on her cheek afterwards, he laid his head on his own pillow.

Gabri Ella giggled. "We have only been traveling for two days." she said, turning to him and kissing him gently. "But I think we are making good time..." Gabri thought about looking at the map to see how many more towns they would pass through but she didn't want to get up from the bed.

He laughed lightly, "I know love, but I just wish to know if you're having fun with this like me" he said, giving her another kiss, but he saw her looking down at their backpacks by the door. By this time, Cody had woken up from his nap, he yawned and then chirped, opening his eyes and seeing Link and Gabri, Link heard his chirping and looked at him, smiling. "Well, hello there, finally awake friend?" He asked him, holding his hand out to him, finger straight, Cody flew out of his nest and perched on Link's finger. Link then sat upright so Cody could perch on his shoulder, which he did right after, he pet Cody's head.

But, Link quickly remembered the backpacks, "would you like the map, love? I'll go get it" he got up off the bed and walked over to the packs by the door. After a few seconds of searching he came back, sitting on the bed and leaning on his pillow by Gabri, map in hand. "Here we are" said Link, unraveling the map, he held onto one side of it and held it in between them so Gabri could hold the other side and look with him.

"Thanks love." Gabri said, looking over the map. It looked like they still had a long way to go. "I don't know if I'll be able to walk this much," she joked.

He laughed, "don't worry love, I'll carry you if I must" he joked back, but in truth, he would if he needed to. He looked over the areas past Medina, "theres a small forest town a few miles away from us right now, but, the information on this map says the paths there are usually infested with bandits. Guess we should keep a close eye on our belongings..." Said Link with a serious look, he folded the map back up and placed it on the table next to Cody's vase and nest. He took a quick look out the window and noticed the orange sky, a sign the sun was going down, "time sure goes by faster since we've been away from home..."

He didn't feel hungry, he was still full from lunch, so there was no reason to leave for dinner, Cody ended up flying back and sitting in his nest, getting some early shut-eye. He smiled and started to snuggle with Gabri, giving her a kiss, "sleepy yet, love? If not, what should we do to pass time?" He asked her curiously, giving her another kiss.

Gabri wasn't really tired. They hadn't done much walking on their own. "I'm not sleepy but I don't know what we can do to pass the time." she said softly. She played with his hair for a moment then kissed him gently.

"I think I know" said Link, raising his eyebrows a few times and chuckling, he rolled over and ended up on top of Gabri, he kissed her lightly, then began to gently make out with her. Cody was still awake when this happened, hearing Link move around on the bed, he turned his head to take a look, seeing what they were doing, he chirped in surprise and covered his face with his wing.

Gabri was taken by surprise when Link rolled on top of her and started kissing her. Out of the corner of her eye she say blue feathers moving. Once she saw Cody she giggled into the kisses. Wrapping her arms around Link's neck, she started to kiss him back, her eyes closed as she was swept into the moment.

He stopped kissing her for a moment, "love, I have an idea... But, don't hate me" he then whispered his rather dirty idea into her ear. Cody spread his feathers and peeked at them, chirping curiously, he had no idea what Link was saying, but he had a feeling they'd need privacy. He stopped peeking and chirped once more, it sounded like he was giggling sheepishly, Link waited for an answer from her, he kissed Gabri on her neck a little.

Gabri Ella gasped as Link whispered in her ear. She looked at him and thought about it for a moment. She loved him and they would be married soon but it would be her first time.

She took his face in her hands and looked into his eyes. Smiling, she nodded to him.

Link smiled and gave her another kiss, then he turned his attention to Cody, he rolled over to the other side of the bed and made sure Cody was asleep, he heard him snoring lightly. "Good, don't want our little friend to disturb us" he whispered, then he climbed off the bed and began to undress, he climbed back into bed under the covers when he was ready, waiting for Gabri to get ready as well. Once she was though, he climbed back on top of her, kissing her gently, and pretty soon, they ended up fast asleep after their fun. The sun slowly rose into the sky, filling their room with light, it made him wake up slowly, he opened his eyes and yawned, stretching a little.

He looked at Gabri and smiled, remembering the fun they had last night, he gave her a kiss, "good morning love" he whispered into her ear.
