Hazel thought she saw something out of the corner of her eye, so she said, "Who ever is there I won't do you any harm. Unless you do harm to me. and them we'll be even."

Hermia didn't trust this dragon. Everyone knew that members of the other clans were not to be trusted. Her blue eyes scanned the dragon's form, trying to decide if it was worth an attack. Hermia knew her own skills were powerful, but had no way of knowing how powerful the dragon was.

And of course, there were the other two to account for. No doubt they would see any attack Hermia made, and then she would have to deal with them as well. No, the best course of action would be to wait for the dragon to leave.

Do I want to come out? Even if she doesn't mean harm, they might. Of course, most dragons are weak towards ice bolts, if you can get the wings. She rose slowly, so as to not startle them.
"I'm armed, but I promise not to shoot."
She stood there, dripping. "I'm from aqua clan as you may have guessed. Aeris, right."

Hermia nearly gasped when a figure came up out of the water. Obviously, the girl was from the Aqua clan (or else she wouldn't be hiding under the water) but what on earth was she thinking?! Didn't she know you weren't supposed to trust the other clans.

Hermia had been planing to leave once the Dragon's attention was distracted, but now she felt that she had a duty to make sure this foolish girl didn't get hurt. Inwardly grumbling, she settled herself on one of the branches in the bush.

Undanna kept one hand on her bolts. If need be, she could shoot them. Hopefully that wouldn't be necessary. She had never felt any great hatred towards the other clans. It'd be a shame to have to maim or kill them. And if she missed.... well, that would be even worse.

Hazel nodded. "Ok, then I won't shoot either." She put down her wings, as if she wasn't going to attack. "Yes, I am from aeris. But I don't do any harm like my cousins. Hopefully, you are the same." she sat down, trying to forget her fellow dragons at the moment.

Sky smiled to herself. "So...." she said, searching for something to chat about. "Why are you up here. Family problems?" She blurted out, and immeaditly regreted it. She put her hands over her mouth.

"Nope. Just fishing. I like the quiet around here. Well, usually. Today there seem to be quite a few people around. Do you want some?" She held out one, frozen by her arrow. "It takes a little more skill this way, but it's more fun."

Hmph. I doubt this dragon is as kind and peaceful as she says, Hermia thought with contempt. Dragons always lie.

However, her scorn towards the dragon was lessened by the anger she felt towards the girl from her own clan. Hermia really couldn't understand why she wanted to make friends with the people from the other clans. For heaven's sake, they weren't from Aqua! That girl had no business even talking to them!

Hermia knew she was going to have to stay hiding here, like it or not. Eventually, the Aeris clan was going to attack her, and Hermia had to make sure she was there to save this idiot girl.

Hazel yawned, looking at the girl. "So, what were you doing in there?" she asked. Sure, it wasn't uncommon for Aquis to be in little ponds like this, but still. It's not like you would expect one to be there.

"I just said. Fishing. I'm going to cook some if you want any. Over there," she pointed "is the best fishing, but the salmon are spawning. This place still has trout though..."

Hermia desperately wanted to grab the girl and leave this place. What did she think she was doing, trying to make friends? How many times had Hermia been told to never trust the other clans? Probably a thousand.

Hermia gritted her teeth. She had waited long enough. She was not going to sit here idly waiting for the dragon to hurt this girl. Hermia tensed her muscles, ready to spring forward and grab the fairy as soon as she came back over to the stream and bushes.

"Mmm, fish. Haven't had that in a while. she rose and went to the side. "I'm probably a little rusty in catching fish as well. Do you think you could help?"

"Sure." Undanna smiled. Her parents had told her to always respect everyone, no matter who they were. Also, she could definitely sense they meant her no harm. Might as well make friends. Besides, she could probably best them in a fight, if it came down to that.
"You can use arrows, or I have a net here. Which would you prefer?"

Completely silent, Hermia moved closer to the edge of the bush. The girl was closer now. Hermia narrowed her eyes, trying to judge the distance between the girl and the leaf cover that the bush provided.

She decided it would be best to wait until the girl started fishing. Then, Hermia would dart out, grab the girl, and speed back to her small village. Simple and easy. Technically, Hermia was not supposed to return until her purification week was over, but she knew that this was a special circumstance. She had to make sure this girl didn't get hurt, and knew that the elders in her village would be able to help her understand why the other clans couldn't be trusted.

"I think I will use arrows." she decided, perching by the pool. Now she knew there was someone else there, the fish wouldn't settle in one part of the pool. "Hey, did you see any one else in there?" she asked.

Hermia suddenly realized that she was too high up. The other girl was perched low next to the stream.

Carefully, she climbed down the branches, not wanting to fly in case the air disturbance tipped off the others. Unfortunately, some of the wood was rather slippery from a recent rain. Hermia slipped, and tried to grab another branch, but her hand slid off of it. Before she had a chance to start flying, her small body hit a larger branch with a lot of force. Letting out a curse, she lay there, dazed, then blacked out.

"What was that noise? It sounded like it came from over there." Undanna was wary now. What if this was an ambush, or someone from Terra who was unfriendly? It was unlikely it was a bird, from what it sounded like. Whatever it was, it probably did not mean well for her.

Hazel pushed up the branch of a bush and found someone there. "Hey, come look at this." she called. It was probably an Aquis, it looked like she tried to climb out of the pool without them knowing. She was unconsious.

"Oh, it's a priestess. The only I can think of is she's purifying herself. They're a very suspicious lot. I think your religious beliefs are part of it, but it also keeps them in the temple. Well, let's put her someplace safe where she's close to water. I'd hate for her to dry out."

Hazel sighed and scooped up the unconsouse girl. she lay her her in the shallows, with her head just above the water and so she could keep an eye on her.

Slowly, Hermia came to. The first thing she felt was the coolness of the water around her body...and then she felt the pain. Blearily, she opened her dark blue eyes, trying to remember where she was...

Oh no! Hermia immediately sprang up, grimacing only slightly at the pain. She quickly called up a ball of water around her and froze it, giving her some protection. Blast it! She had fallen off the bush while trying to reach the girl but instead had knocked herself out. And not both the Aqua girl and the Aeris dragon knew she was here. For extra protection, she added several more layers of ice around her ball, hoping it would hold. Now she was going to have to figure out a way to leave here without getting either herself or her fellow clan member hurt.

Hazel saw her move, with an ice ball in her hand. "Well, it looks like our sleeping beauty woke up." she commented. "Oh relax, I won't hurt you. if we were in your pond we can go..." she lay down as if to not attack. "See? She believes me." pointing to her companion.

Hermia made part of her opaque ice ball transparent so that she could look out at the two of them. She tossed her hair back with more than a little snootiness and then turned to glare at the dragon.

Of course, they hadn't been in her pond, per se, because as every little Aquarian knew, water was to be shared by all and owned by none. But Hermia still didn't trust that dragon. It must have done something to entice her fellow Aqua clan member, because no one with half a mind would willingly consort with someone from a different clan.

However, Hermia had no ideas as to how to rescue this other fairy from the dragon.

"Can you talk?" Hazel asked. she wasn't sure, but the person wouldn't respond. "Hey look. Sure, you're Aquis, I'm Aeris. Are you happy? There doesn't have to be this ever lasting friction between us." she pointed out.
