The Goal: 1000 Paper Cranes

I thought a good idea, along side this thread, would be to get 1000 Menewshans to make 1000 paper cranes! Legend says that if anyone make 1000 paper cranes, their wish will be granted! Well, since it would take a lot of time for one person to make a 1000 paper cranes, why not have 1000 people make 1000 cranes. It may seem like a lofty idea but I really would like to try it!

All you'd have to do is fold a paper crane and send a picture of it to me! I'll host the picture on my photobucket account and then post the picture here! I'm also not limited to if people wanted to make pixelated paper cranes or anything of that nature!

If anyone knows of really good instructions for folding a paper crane [not a video but an image], please send me the link!

How to make Origami?

Not everyone is an expert at the art of paper folding. And thanks to the internet, you don't have to be! There are plenty of help sites out there to assist people in making origami.

Oh, I just love to do origami and my family is from the part of the world Orpheus was from. If you believe he was a real person, which you know, he was.

Guivre, it wouldn't surprise me to find out there was a real person. I mean, I'm sure that most myths are based on some facts.

No haha I was saying "I don't get it" about Guivre XD.

But they are really relaxing to look at, haha. I have a cloak of nature but none of the other things.

EDIT: As far as the poll, though, I think it should be like a per-goal thing. So you work on one goal, like the 1,000 cranes, and then you come up with another kind of goal?

Oh, maybe I should make it more specific. I meant, for the one section, there would be one origami pattern/picture there with a link to instructions or something. And that would change every once in a while. I just don't know how frequently to change it. ^^;

I like making turtles and dragons. as well as winged boxes!

Lost_Ninja9213: Wow, you can make dragons. ^^ That's pretty amazing. My friend made a dragon for me once and it certainly looked complicated. Winged boxes sound better cool too. ^^
