Playing through Kingdom Hearts 2 over and over again made me understand the story. (I was very stupid at paying attention to the story at first. xD) Though don't forget that the next keyblade wielder is going to be female. (not Xion) I hope that this game turns out well!

Xion's situation mirrors that of Naminé's initial situation when everyone heard about CoM and how she was a mysterious girl who was important to Sora. Yet look at her now! She's a loved character with an interesting personality.

Yes, she's the Fourteenth member in an Organization that was in one of the games called 'Organization XIII'. However, let me remind you that only in Kingdom Hearts II was the Organization called that, presumably because they were starting to lose members for some odd reason and they were so close to their goal that getting new members was probably pointless to Xemnas.

I apologize if I'm coming off as severely rude, but I'm seriously getting sick of all the retarded reasons people are hating a character they know JACK SHIT about.

I'm excited for it, but I'm not as excited for it as I would have been two years ago. I got my DS for Christmas '07, and the main reason I wanted it was so that I could get this KH when it came out. Haha.

But, I really haven't been much interested in KH lately. I think my interest for it basically died about a year ago. I don't know why, though. :/

I'm excited for it simply because I can play as Roxas and the rest of the Organization. I''m on of the (few?) people who loved playing as Roxas, and wished I could play as him more and was really sad when control went back to Sora. Don't get me wrong, I love Sora; but I loved the Story with Roxas and his character and was really interested in controling him more.

I remember before I played two, I was hearing all these bad things people were saying about him; like how he was a lame character and not worth your time. The only thing I didn't like about him, was the fact that you controlled him in Twilight Town; the music in Twilight Town kept putting me to sleep! :XD

I pre-ordered my copy like a month ago, an I'm really excited to play it. I think I'd be more excited if it wasn't for the fact that Halloween and two anime conventions are coming up :XD

I saw this in the store today but didn't buy it yet because I was supposed to be getting cleaning supplies and not shiny fun things to help me procrastinate.. lol.. Any first impressions, from those who actually have it?

I'm about 8 hours in and I'm amazed, especially at the quality of cinematics for the DS and how they're able to cram in so many little cutscenes and plot. Even though most of the time you're working the A button to get through dialogue and for most of your attacks in gameplay, it's not a cakewalk. Lots of the heartless force you to time your attacks. The panels system of character building was really easy to pick up, and forces you to be strategic. The camera can get a little awkward sometimes, but tapping the R button will re-adjust it behind you- so it's not that much of a problem.

I haven't played in the mission mode much yet, but it looks as though only the major players in the organization have stats that make them worth being playable characters. It's a little disappointing, seeing as I was looking forward to playing Larxene and she's so weak I'm slashing away at little heartless for what feels like forever.


Still, I'd absolutely reccomend it. It's easily one of the most solid games I've played on the DS.

I work at a Gamestop, so I was a nerd a pre-ordered it and picked up the day it was released. If you pick yours up at a Gamestop it can't hurt to ask if they have any of the posters left from the reserves. I know my store got a bunch of extras. ;)

I was kind of hoping for Kingdom Hearts 3 on the PS3, but while the game looks good, sadly, I will not be purchasing it.

I bought mine today!
I saw it in the store, and while I could have waited for my R4i card, I know it was worth buying. So I bought it right away. xD

I love it so far, I'm glad they used the PS2 gameplay instead of Chain of Memories gameplay. It would have looked better pixeled, but the gameplay is awesome.

I'm so happy I have my own version of Kingdom Hearts, in portable format even. And it was released at the store I bought it a day early. It wasn't suppose to go on sale till tomorrow.

I just want to add, the music for this is amazing! And even better with headphones. :)

Are you still just busy with the talking? I'm not that far into it myself, but I can't stand the beginning of a lot of games because of how slow they go.

But of course they pick up later.

I got past the part with all introductory missions that Roxas needs to go on with all the members.
And I'm doing random missions right now, but I haven't gone to any Disney worlds yet.

So yeah... I feel like I need to give it a lot more time before forming an opinion.
But I'm sooo bored with it right now. Nothing happens and they keep playing the same awkward cut-scene with Roxas and Axel eating popsicles...

If I had a DS I most certainly would have obtained it by now... but alas, I do not. =( I'm going to have to steal a friend's DS and play it one of these days. I would play the game just for the parts with Riku. Mmmmm. =3

I d/led it and put it on my R4 ( don't call me cheap TYVM (: ) and I like spent 1 whole day playing it non-stop . :3 ITS SO AWESHUMMMMMMMM <3 Does anyone know if there's a quick-save for the game cuz i keep having to end up leaving the DS on for the whole night . -_-;;

You can save whenever you're not in a mission, so I end up being able to save ever 10+ minutes or so.

If you can't save that often, then I don't know what you're doing. O.o

WHUT buh I wants to save ON a mission . TT^TT

Because you're using an R4 card.
They're not perfect.

Also, do you have any type of cheats enabled? Cheats with the R4 card can mess it up as well.

I finished kingdoms hearts 1 and 2 ;D it was a fun game ^_^
