Kaguyami felt a strange, sinking feeling in her stomach when she saw how Uzume, the most beautiful of goddesses, hugged and caressed Lelouch.
"I'm sorry, I guess I was interrupting something.." She forced the words out, and realized he probably didn't get her letter.
Or maybe he did, and instead rejected her to fool around with Uzume.
She stood silent for a few moments, then ran past the group, running at a steady pace towards a bamboo grotto, where she could be alone.
"I should NEVER have even THOUGHT about coming up here! This is what happens when you decide to love someone, I should have stayed a maiden." These thoughts raced through her head as she wept, sitting on a rock beside a small spring, which bubbled forth with clear, sweet smelling water.

Lelouch went to reach for her but she just ran off. Watching her run away he looked back at Uzume. A completely loathing for her at the moment.
"For the love of god Uzume!" He growled at her before running after Kaguyami. It was easy to catch up with her since she hadn't gotten far.
"Wait Kaguyami! Please!" He called out to her as he grabbed her by the hand. They but stopped, but she continued to struggle. He could see her gray-blue eyes flooded with tears and it killed him to see her that way.

"Kaguyami it was nothing; Its a misunderstanding really." Lelouch tried to explain quickly so she'd stop. He never wanted to hurt her in any way; even though t was an accident he still felt guilty seeing her in such a way.

Izayoi watched her brother and the two girls slightly confused at what was going on. But when Lelouch ran after one of them it was only apparent what had happened. Izayoi looked over at Uzamu and sighed.
"What did you do?" She asked knowing her friends behavior had to have been the cause of such drama.

"No, I'm sorry for coming Sayoto." Kaguyami sniffed, wiping at her tears with her hands.
"I'll leave you and the others alone, and I hope Uzume is happy with you as a lover." There was a slight tone of sarcasm in her voice, which was quite unusual for Kaguyami.

She got up off the rock, gently pushed Lelouch away from her, and walked at an accelerated pace towards the edge of the floating land.
She stopped at Izayoi and gave her a small hug, as if to say goodbye, before she walked past Uzume, heading for the same place she entered Sayoto.

"I hope you two are happy together." She muttered as she kept walking, preparing to jump from the edge of the beautiful land, waiting for the wind to gently whisk her to the ground, as she did with most jumps and falls.

"]Lelouch tried to stop her again, but he felt as if nothing he said or did would change her mind at this point. He walked after here still.
"Kaguyami please don't go..." He pleaded with her, but she never stopped. Watching her leave was the hardest thing he ever had to do. He felt his knees buckling, but he stood the best he could. The fire in his eyes slowly dying as they practically glazed over. Lelouch felt as if his life had just left him behind.

Izayoi hugged the girl warmly as if trying to apologize for whatever had happened. Watching the girl leave she looked over at her brother. The last time he had such a look upon his face their mother had died. Izayoi thought of comforting him, but she knew nothing would help him right now.

Kaguyami ignored Lelouch for a few seconds, then turned around.
"I love you, but apparently Uzume loves you more."
And then she jumped, diving towards the water, the wind picking up slightly, which was soon carrying her along the surface of the water, like an airy hammock.
"Guess I should never have gone up there.." She whispered to the water, her tears now mostly dried.

"That's right. I do. I do love him more."

She clenched her fists and glared at the ground. She loved him. When he was here butterflies erupted in her stomach, her heart and arms ached to touch him, hug him...

She walked over to him slowly, at first victorious as if she was going to grab him as a prize. But she watched his face, broken and sad, glazed over in shock.

"In fact, I love him so much.."

She let out a sad sigh, unable to speak, tears began to drip down her face, and even then she was radiant, beautiful. A beautiful disaster. They fell to the ground and made flowers grow.

"..I know when to let go."

"Lelouch...I'm so sorry..." she whispered.

"B-but, obviously she couldn't take competition! What's up with that? She couldn't fight for your love?!" she looked like a child, wiping her eyes and looking away from a parent that caught her stealing from the cookie jar.

She would have to bring back the prissy little girl, and explain everything. She most likely wouldn't listen to Lelouch now...and she wanted a fair fight instead of her manipulative way...

Lelouch heard her trying to reason with him and it only made him madder. His skin started to smoke as his hands caught fire. He ran his smoldering hand through his hair trying to calm down. The fire acting like a flat iron against his hair and smoothing it out.
"Shut up Uzume...You don't know the first thing about her!" He hissed at her coldly before walking off to Izayoi's home.
"Don't apologize to me; its meaningless from you." he was saying most things out of anger, but everything had at least some truth. Walking inside he went to his normal room and just dropped to the floor. He hadn't the slightest idea of what to do or say to her. All he could do was let her calm down and see her another time. Still his eyes began to mist, but he fought them off.

Izayoi stepped back from her brother as he walked off.
"Uzume what did you do?" She asked once he was gone. Izayoi was still clueless to how all this started.

Kaguyami was almost the edge of the lake, when she realized that she should have stayed and fought for Lelouch. "I was acting like a child.. How stupid.." She muttered to herself, smacking her face slightly with the palm of her hand.

"Uzume may be beautiful, but I should have trusted Lelouch.." Kaguyami was now standing, just above the suface of the water, with help from the winds, whipping around her ankles like ribbons.

"How could I just do leave like that?" She kept debating with herself, before making her final descision. "I'll go back and fight for his love."

She turned around, towards Sayoto, and began to fly on the wind, as fast as she could, until she burst into the sky above the floating land, looking down at Izayoi and Uzume, staying in one spot, until she could spot Lelouch.

Uzume flinched and looked away as Lelouch yelled at her and walked away. He really was such a hot-head. He was lucky it was hot or she'd slapped him long ago.

She wiped her eyes and went to answer her friend, but she felt the other girl come back. A large grin went on her face and she pat Izayoi's head.

"I'll explain it to you in a bit, alright? The match is just about to start, though I'm fairly sure it's a one hit K.O. kinda match."

She strutted over, hips swishing and she held a hand out for the girl. Her smirk was haughty, but her eyes were friendly and open.

"Are you ready? Or are you going to run away again, little Kaguyami?"

"Run away from you?" Kaguyami was shocked, as if Uzume was asking her to fight.
"What do you want from me? I'm only here to find Lelouch." She flew past Uzume, with the wind trailing behind her, before she landed beside Izayoi.

But instead of heading towards Lelouch, who she guessed was in Izayoi's home, Kaguyami turned towards Uzume and stepped forward.
"I'm curious now, why would you ask if i was ready? Are we fighting or something?"

Uzume shook her head and sighed. "No, no. How ungraceful! Barbaric!" she was being a super hypocrite at this point. She has fought many a man and beast in the past out of anger, yet no anger came today.

"Are you ready to face Lelouch? I know I'm not in the running, but I'm still your rival, you got that? Until he says anything officially to my face I won't give up." She sighed.
"Though I suppose It's all one sided now, huh? So sad."

Honestly, she had only said it because it made the whole thing sound really cool...She always had a thing for the dramatics.

Izayoi got between them quickly. Looking at Uzume she felt like her mother at this point.
"Don't start anything. This is a peaceful place." He told them both sternly. The wind coming from Kaguyami was cool and seemed to Izayoi calm at well. Than again she was never one for conflict.
"Lets just talk. Whatever happened was just a misunderstanding." She told them before looking over at Kaguyami with sweet inviting smile.

"Brother isn't the kind to hurt anyone. Especially the ones he cares for." She told her as if trying to explain something she hadn't even been involved in.

"I guess you're right.." Kaguyami replied to Izayoi, completely ignoring Uzume's theatrics, since she had bascally just been invited to compete for Lelouch.

"I'm gonna go find him, and ask about earlier." She smiled slightly, calmed down after her little breakdown. The wind swirled gently around her, making her flowing kimono swirl at her feet as she landed softly. She started walking towards

Izayoi's home, and looked back at Uzume, almost inviting her with her eyes. "Coming? Or are you one to plan behind the scenes?" She giggled slightly, even though it sounded semi-vindictive.

Uzume laughed too. She deserved everything she got, but that didn't mean she would take it gracefully. She looked over at Izayoi pleadingly, as if she were saying 'aw, please mama? Can't I just make the girl bleed a little?'

But she just got glared at. She sighed and followed behind the girl into the house....But then suddenly realized it just might hurt too much to see it. She leaned against a wall.

"You go in. I shouldn't ruin the lovey dovey moment." She admitted it honestly, although there was jealousy and anger in her eyes, there were also tears.

"I...I didn't want him anyway!" she said childishly, crossing her arms across her chest.

Kaguyami looked at Uzume with a strange look in her eyes. She couldn't believe that Uzume would give up that easily. "I thought you really liked him though." Kaguyami said, her arms crossed as well. "What happened to your attitude from earlier?"

"I thought you were on the verge of attacking me and then kissing Lelouch over my dead body, about five minutes ago."
"But I guess it doesn't matter now." She sighed, then solemnly walked into Izayoi's house, waiting for Lelouch to see her in the doorway.

Izayoi went back up to them seeing the anger in both of them starting to flare again.
"Please don't break anything." She pleased with Uzume who was being childish and bound to start and break something. Looking over at Kaguyami in her home she just smiled again hoping to keep things calm.
"He should be somewhere upstairs you're welcome to stay if you'd like." She told her before turning to Uzume.

"Will you explain all this to me. What is going on with you two and why is brother upset?" She asked harshly. She hated being left in the dark about things especially when it came to her friend and Brother.

Lelouch was up in his room curled up in bed. His eyes were that of a dead body, and his skin was still warm from being so fired up before hand. He felt like staying in his room till he finally passed on. He couldn't imagine being without Kaguyami. Seeing her so upset he could only imagine that she'd never look at him again.

Closing his eyes he just sighed to himself. Thinking of his mother wondering if she had died feeling this alone and empty.

Uzume just shrugged and crossed her arms.
"Please, Fire Gods are so ten minutes ago. Way boring for an extravagant Goddess like me. But go ahead, have fun!" she gave a little wave to the girl as if she were shooing away dust then took Izayoi's hand. Maybe a bit tighter then she meant to.


"If you'll go outside with me, I'll explain this silly little thing, 'kay?" she whispered so only Izayoi could hear. "The reason I say outside is because I don't want to break anything inside. Alrighty?"

Kaguyami closed the door silently, then tiptoed upstairs, before peeking into the room where Lelouch was laying on the bed.
She giggled quietly, without him noticing, before she jumped onto him, attempting to hug him as she did so.

The winds outside the house started to pick up, without Kaguyami asking them to carry her.
Suddenly, a handsome man came flying downward, towards Izayoi. It was Fujiin.

He setteled himself on the ground, his robe fluttering in the light breeze, while he ran his fingers through his hair, to bring it out of his eyes, which sparkled in the sunlight.

He turned towards Izayoi and looked puzzled. "Is Kaguyami around here? I thought she was going to be talking to a friend on Sayoto." He asked, bowing towards Izayoi slightly.
"Also, I'm Fujiin, a friend of hers."

Lelouch had thought it was Uzume again and pushed the girl away. Curling back up to himself.
"Go away Uzume..." He sighed. He hadn't even looked at the girls face and so was completely oblivious.

Izayoi Looked up at the man as if never seeing one in her life. Swallowing the lump in her throat she just smiled trying to be respectful and not stare at him.
"She's with Lelouch right now. But I'm sure she'll come down later." She told him oblivious to how it sounded. Still she couldn't just let him interrupt their conversation. Looking up at him again she felt like she had to catch her breath. His bright blue eyes adorn with dark messy hair.
"..I'm sorry where are my manners. I'm Izayoi; Lelouch's sister." She smiled.

(Lmao reading Lelouch's post again I feel like I put him in the Emo corner! XD Sorry everyone he won't be Emo forever!)

Fujiin smiled softly, then walked away, sitting down at the base of a flowering cherry tree.
He leaned his head back on the trunk, then began to relax, waiting for Kaguyami, but until then, he began to daydream of her.

Kaguyami was heartbroken again when Lelouch pushed her away, after she tried to be flirty, which was something she NEVER did.
"Guess I'll leave." She whimpered, turning her back on Lelouch, before walking towards the door.

Lelouch heard her and practically jumped out of bed and wrapped his arms around her. He never even let her near the door. Pulling her close to him as if she'd just come back from the dead.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Kaguyami." He told her trying to stop her from leaving again. There was really nothing to apologize for since he'd never done anything wrong. Still he couldn't help but do it after hurting her.

Izayoi didn't like him sitting outside with nothing to do. She felt like a bad hostess.
"Would you like anything?" She asked him trying to be helpful to him at best she could.

Kaguyami turned towards Lelouch as he hugged her, and she hugged back, so happy that he wasn't trying to reject her. "No, I'm sorry.. for overreacting." She smiled, and wrapped her arms around his neck, before kissing his cheek.

"Oh, maybe a drink would be nice, do you have any cherry tea?" Fujiin smiled, and shifted himself so he was sitting more straight. "Thank you, very much." He smiled again and ran his fingers through his soft hair, still trying to keep it out of his eyes.

Lelouch shook his head he'd already forgiven her for running off. It wasn't like it was that strange of a reaction from a girl. He ran his hand through her hair and tucked her head under his.
"Its fine." He told her softly. Lelouch never thought he'd be able to hold her like this. It was like a dream he wanted to hold onto forever.

Izayoi nodded happily and ran off to her kitchen. Looking around she realized she didn't have any cherry tea. It was just a good thing for him she hated to disappoint someone. She grabbed a white tea that had little to no flavor and found some cherry extract she had left over. It had been on ice for some time so it was still fresh. Heating some water for the tea she slowly added the extract till it was almost the same as real cherry tea. It might have been a tad bit strong, but it wasn't awful. Izayoi came back as quickly as she could and handed him the large cup of hot tea.

"I hope its alright. I'm sure its a little strong, but I could fix it if you like" she told him trying to make sure he was comfortable and happy during his stay here.

Kaguyami was completely content, snuggling into the arms of a wonderful man, who loved and cared for her. "I love you, Lelouch." She whispered into his ear, snuggling further into his chest and neck.

Fujiin was half asleep in the midday sun when he was alerted by Izayoi and her tea.
He sniffed the strong cherry scent, and was immediately ecstatic. "It's been so long since I've had tea this strong!" He smiled and guzzled most of the tea, before rubbing his stomach.
"That hit the spot, it was wonderful!" He leaned over, and being the flirt that he was, he kissed Izayoi on the cheek.
"Thanks, really." He laughed slightly, then sat back down beside the tree.

Uzume scowled and glared at the man. Who was he to touch pure little Izayoi? He should know his boundaries, especially when it comes to beautiful, shy women! Pretty boy or not!

"Why are you here anyway?" She asked, standing beside the man. She hoped that she didn't look as disheveled as she felt.

"What are you to her?" She decided to rephrase the question. Was this little...floozy...two-timing Lelouch? If so there actually WILL be a smack down!
