I quite enjoy the series, so far. I just finished Hunted. I can't wait 'til I get my hands on Tempted! I find this series a bit more developed than Twilight. Don't hurt me, Twi-Fans! I love Edward and Jacob and Bella too, though. The HONS gets kind of hot and heavy at times, but it beats out some other vampire series I read.

The House of Night is a great series.

I was afraid that I wasn't going to find anyone reading these books.
My friend from French class actually turned me on to the series, maybe a few weeks ago. And she's been letting me borrow them.
So far, I've made it all the way through to the untamed book, and am now itching for the next one.

It makes me feel bad for not knowing more about my Cherokee heritage though.

I think it's a pretty good series. I've actually got Tempted right here beside me :) I dunno if anyone else noticed this but the authors seem to change their style of writing in each book somehow. It's very subtle. And Zoey likes to deny the fact that she's a slut but I think she really is... It's a really good series though. I find it entertaining that they mention all the celebrities that are vampyres :) I think the most interesting thing is that they're written by a woman and her daughter. I noticed that most people I know didn't have a clue about this series until Twilight started the whole vampire trend...

I love reading this series. I'm on the fourth book. Enjoying the series so far. Found the books at a store and just picked it up and read the back and thought the series would be good and so far I have enjoyed it.

I've read all the books-up to Tempted. It's alright, and you can relate the way you think to the way the main character thinks or talks like. The plot is pretty good too, but the author-P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast needs to round up the main character Zoey Redbird) a bit better. It's either a fault in the way their writing, or the main character just have serious mood swings.
But nonetheless, its a good starter novel for anyone who wants to start reading. (:

ANYWHOO - Stevie Ray is getting kind of annoying.. blehh. Like STFU !! And I felt bad for Aphrodite. But I can just imagine hwo hot her boyfriend must be with all those muscles. MMMM.

But it's a very good series and I can't wait until the next one comes outt !

I enjoyed the first book, but found it somewhat shallow. I am tempted to read the second book now that someone has mentioned the characters gain more dimension. My sister has read up to the current one, and enjoys it. I couldn't get over how everything happened in about a week. While it was entertaining, the characters need work and the pace is a little fast.

I love this series! So much better than twilight! It would be awsome if it became a movie ^_^ I cant belive twilight is more popular than HON! HON has so much more going for it!

Someone metntioned aoubt Zoey being a whore? I don't think she is, first if the whole world was turning evil, I think whoreing would be the last thing on my mind, also all those guys just like and support her. She is not only naturaly pretty but the also has a lot of power and that is attracitve for the guys. She does have a lot of guys following her, I admit that and it is an interesting love triangle (or pentagon thing?) that keeps the readers interested in addtion to the storyline.

Also about her having mood swings, she is under a lot more pressure than the rest of the characters. Zoey not only has the step-loser and the religous freaks after her, Neafat, and the constant boy troubles but the whole evil coming back thing to worry about. She is also a girl (hormones at that age and periods, which they dont mention) and thats a natural thing for her to have.

Erick even though he is older, is not mature and does not support her like he should. I totaly agree with the commetn that Stark is awosme. Her human not boyfriend is an idoit though, but is kinda sweet in a dumb guy way?

Nothing big, but there is technically a LITTLE bit of a spoiler in here.

I'm about 2/3's of the way through HUNTED, and let me tell you, it's gettign good.
But was anyone else pissed when they couldn't figure that phrophecy poem out?
It was so effing clear what they ere talking about.
They'd even figured out/were decided that the five things/qualities mentioned were people....but they couldn't put the pieces together?
CLEARLY we've bee told OVER and OVER how Aphrodite's HUMANITY was so strong, it burned away her mark, and healed people and blah blah blah. CLEARLY certain people had affinities for the certain elements, and represented the elements...So why couldn't it work both ways? Why couldn't the elements represent them?

I love the series! I own them all! The only thing that irritates me about it is that in all the books except for the latest one, the Casts have repeated themselves and reintroduced every single character the same stupid way! And they leave us on the most mind-blowing cliff-hangers ever! Damn them! Damn them! If I wasn't so eager to see what would happen next in the series, I'd assassinate (heh heh, I said ass twice!) them right now!!! XP

Oh yes, and by the way, when it comes to Kalona... He's hot, and I would totally go evil for him. ;)

I will say this: I LOVE THE SERIES AND CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK!
