Hello! Call me Semi!

Lynn StarDragon- Greetings and Salutations. I do hope that you continue to frequent this thread. We have a handful of 'regulars' so there is almost always someone to chat with. Plus while you're getting to know how things work, you're simultaneously raising your post count to 30 where you can qualify for one of Kultura-sama's three-piece starter sets.

About the food talk, I first heard of such an idea as "Egg in a Frame" which makes the most sense to me. However as I tend to eat my foods separately it's a rather moot idea as I would separate them before eating them anyways.

semi- I'm glad you're only 'semi' as opposed to full out. I've been wrestling with that myself lately.

Ah, that's the plan. I'm of college age, however, so there will be times that I drop in and out of existence. >3 Yes, that was my plan from the start - to actually read the rules, make friends, and end up with a starter kit to keep Lynn warm . . . . and then donate it to another unfortunate soul, somewhere down the line. Because I'm a packrat, and I'd rather gift things than chuck them to a sell-back store.

Did you know you can put someone's eye out with a plastic sunscreen bottle?

I'd rather be socializing in a 'funny farm' then in a cold hard-padded room with flourescent lights above you that never actually go off. -nods-

Aoekae- You can make a fist, keep your thumb on the outside, and put someone's eye out with that as well. We don't _practice_ that in the self-defense classes I've taken, but they always remind us that it is an option.

no but some sunscreen is tastly (i know its not good to lick it off but its so damn tasty)

diamond princess ashley- You just reminded me of the stereotype of 'the kid in kindergarten that eats the craft paste'.

Some things are _really_ not meant to be ingested... And just because they won't kill you in small quantities doesn't give you a green light, either...

*giggles* hey i only found that out because me and my ex were well at the beach and im not going to go into anymore detail about it but i did find out that its hard to get sand out of some places

Note that she needs them...my primary was kind enough to send her a stockpile o'gold so she could by her first outfit. Pretty snazzy huh?

And no before you ask I won't tell you who my primary is...it's supposed to be a secret ;)

Well, the original principle of Buddhism was to only blind someone in one eye at a time. That way they can still see. Just no depth perception.

Though personally I favor the 'break their arm and leg and run away' method of self defense.

@Aoekae - speaking as someone that has had monovision in the past, depth perception isn't all that impressive an evolutionary trait...sure, it keeps us from dieing when we drive, but besides that what has it done for you lately?

i like the scream and let your bf take care of the situation method it has worked wonders for me

@ashley and if your boyfriend is unavailable at the moment...or worse yet you don't have one at the time?

It is useful to learn some form of self defense, even if it is just the "grab the pepperspray out of my purse and hose the sucker" variety.

i know four types of karate (cant spell worth shit)
and is a black belt in all of them (or at least has been in them more then three or four years)

Well, it has helped me avoid running into things...actually...wait a second...I still run into plenty of things. You're right. Depth perception sucks.
