I recently came across you’re advertisement for a tournament script writer. From you’re advert you’re looking for someone with both good poker knowledge and also knowledge of game scripting, along with someone that can also work in a team. I believe I fulfil all of these requirements.

For the last three years I have been studying computer and video game design at the University of Salford being tutors by a number of different industry experts. I spent my time at University specialising in game level design, this involved planning out, building and producing levels for different game project we worked. This also included programming and level scripting such as creating new game modes and game play feature using Unreal script, for example coding a new form of sniper rifle and adding it to the game. I graduated this course with a respectable 2:2 degree, just shy of the marks needed for a 2:1.

Aside from my background in game design that covers game scripting and coding, I also have a good working knowledge of poker. I have an account on you’re website for playing cash game, mainly Texas hold’em. Apart from this however I play live in both my local league and also at the local governors casino, whenever time and money will allow me to do so. From these experiences I have developed a good understanding of poker betting systems and styles, as well as tournament structure and design.

As I mentioned above I normally play Texas Hold’em however this isn’t the only game I am formiller with or have played in the past. The other forms of poker I have played include Omaha, Omaha (hi/lo), Stud, Stud (hi/lo), and Razz in the HORSE format of the game. This includes playing in tournament of this style along with some experience playing Draw. These are all games styles that are offered by you’re website."

Its a letter for a job Im currently applying for. They want someone with good poker knowlage and also expreince with game scripting and other system. I think i forfil both of these.

Well I might not get it but its an application. I mean i have only had 1 interview in 5 months of applying for jobs. I cant count how many i have applied for in that amount of time. Anyway how are you doing today? Waking up later really lol.

To be honest i got up later than i expected today. I had my arlam set for um.... 9:30 am. I think i got out of bed about 12:30 lol, so not to late but still later than i expected. Anyway i have applyed for a job today and also sent a follow up e-mail for another. That makes me happy and such, means i can do nothing for the rest pof the afternoon ^^.

edit: Cedura, i though that metor shower was ment to be tuseday night. Im sure thats what it said on my twitter acount from the local telescope

It was a 9 for sure. No moonlight, very few clouds, I live in the country so no city lights either, and several hundred shooting "stars" an hour, I ran out of wishes.... Stayed up all night in my field though watching, it was gorgeous.

Mei Shinju Kokoro: ;-; Well that's no fun unless it is in which case you should have fun either way and stuff.

cedura: *-* Gorgeous! Now I wish I'd stayed up to see it ...lol..But ah well, it was probably still cloudy around here so I wouldn't have seen anyways~
