Yes, it's a long and sad story. He was abusive to both myself and our oldest child. (she was nine months old when I left him) I finally left him when he forced me to get pregnant again. I didn't have a job or car because he slowly limited my resources while we were married and even screened my phonecalls. The internet was my only escape while he was at work. One of my online friends paid for my bus ticket to get me out of there that weekend while he was at work. I ended up going to Milwaukee to stay with another online friend that I had known for seven years until I could patch things up with my mom.

Anyway, the law states that I can't move more than 300 miles or to another state without notifying the father. He can then take me to court and I have to give a legitimate reason for moving. The judge can't make me stay, but he can say that if I do move, the kids have to stay with their father. No way in hell I will ever let that happen. 300 miles may seem like a lot, but I haven't found any job opportunities in this state without going back to college first.

And with that, I have to go pick up the little ones. I probably won't be on again until tomorrow.

@ Shaman: That sounds like a good plan. You can always wear Kultura's outfit until you find a new one.

Morning everyone. I'll probably be on later and later as the week progresses - it's supposed to rain here till Thursday then turn to snow on Friday and Saturday, and since my insurance still hasn't approved my Embrel, I'm having severe joint problems. >.<

Almost finished the WoD RP thread though. Just have a tiny bit more setting info to get up, one map to make, and two NPCs to finish. ^.^

It doesn't take all that long to get the 30 posts for the outfit Kultura gives to newbies. And you make a decent amount of gold from trying to get those 30 posts, which is nice.

I'm sure its rather simple to obtain the outfit, but at the same time, I don't really expect to get anything handed to me. I just like talking to people, thats really the only reason I've stuck around this thread in the first place. Its the first thread I've been to where I've actually been able to strike up a conversation, other than my exchange thread.

That's understandable. And yes, I've noticed that conversation seems to be more focused and personal in this thread than some of the ones in the general area. The only other places I really post to are the MAC update thread, a couple of people's quest threads, and the threads for the two RPs I'm involved with.

The person who gave me the halloween stuff has begged and begged me to join Mene, so when I finally did, she just tossed me all of this stuff. I earned the gold I have by playing games, and making massive posts, which is something I'm very used to doing anyway.

Ah, yeah. Two days worth of games, I'm guessing? You can get some decent items with that much gold, not a whole lot is near 1k. It sort of depends on the look your going for.

Not that we can change our clothes at the moment, with the bug that's happening. But they usually get them cleared up fairly fast.

Yeah, being able to buy almost anything out of the shops is good, but I'm aiming for the tough stuff, EIs and CIs. I want demonic looking wing stuff :)

I'm at the library, and its about to close in about 15 minutes, so hopefully I'll be able to see you all later this week.
