Yeah we don't have any good stations out here in the boonies either.
I'm watching Nero Wolfe! It's the best Mystery show along with Poirot, Sherlock Holmes etc. Although to not get confused you have to understand that it's done by a preformance troupe so some of the support actors play different characters in different episodes. I highly recomend it!

I'm a little bit of everything, like Deek.
I listen mostly to soundtracks from fantasy movies, anime, and games, as well as Indie and Electronica/Techno

I'm not much of an electronica/techno person. When I'm playing DDR, I love the stuff. But most of the time I have a small tolerance for it. Although, I will admit, raving is fun. The one time I went to one.

We need to go and buy the connectors for the 360 and a 360 DDR game. We have stuff for the PS2, but that's not the system we have set up...

Ah, I havn't played DDR in years. Wish I could find a good arcade that still has the game. Can't play it at home where I'm at.

I am so bad at DDR. I am terribly uncoordinated. It is safer for me and those around me if I don't play active games. lol.
This may seem to come out of nowhere, but if any of you are interested, a friend of mine has a nifty thread that pairs up newbies with experienced users. It is really cool and they are really short on newbies over there. lol. Not that you should desert Kulti's charity, but if you would like some one on one help answering questions and pointing you to cool hangouts and RPs and such, then check it out. Kay? It really helped me out and I wanted to share it.

Yeah, without arcades, I'm a bit of a wallflower. I tend to stay home all by my lonesome self because there's nowhere fun to go most of the time.

I usually hang out with the gaming club on my college campus. There's one person who occasionally brings in his DDR stuff. Usually someone brings in fun things. A lot of us play Yu-gi-oh. And several of the people go to tournaments regularly. It's actually pretty cool.

It's a damn shame... but it's because of costs and insurances that are more expensive to have then the income that they get.

It also has a great deal to do with home gaming and online gaming becoming so much more advanced and affordable. Who needs to go to the arcade when they can play whatever they want with their friends in the comfort of their own living room. Arcades just weren't getting enough customers to stay out of the red.

Yeah, a real shame. At least with an arcade you wouldn't become a shut in.

The mall where I used to live had a DDR machine. I don't know if they do anymore or not, because I haven't been to that mall in about a year. But I think my sister would have told me if it was gone. There's also a place kinda near me now that had an arcade with DDR in it... Again, I don't know if it's still there.

I wish there was a gaming club on my school campus. There's an anime club, but none of their ads say when and where they meet! >_<
But, at least I can hang out with you guys...

Yea, we have a gaming club but no anime club. Some days I feel like the only reason it's still together is I'm keeping it that way... Sometimes it's quite a drain, but I want to try and make sure it keeps going.

Ah, don't give up Goofball! Its worth it to met people with simlilar interest and make new friends, isn't it?
But yeah, our anime club must be run by a real scatter brain for them to keep forgeting the important info.

I'm not about to give up. I just get frustrated because I feel like I do the President's/VP's job, and I'm actually the treasurer.
That is pretty scatter brained...

lol, the anime cub at my college never advertised. We just dragged in all our friends (which most of us had very few of lol). There were about 7-10 people in the meetings on a good night. But they kept taking away our meeting rooms. Grr...it got very frustrating because we'd show up and the room would be in use by some other group, then we'd have to find somewhere else to go. We ended up in one of the member's dorm room one time, there were only two chairs and the rest of us had to crowd around on the floor because we were watching it on his computer instead of on the big projector screen we were used to using. lol. Such an outcast club we were...the college didn't even admit to our existence half the time.

I never joined the anime club at my previous university because it was run by the guy that stalked me for a year.... I wasn't scared of him but I wasn't about to go near him. He was slimy....
