Oh and one more thing about the House of Night. The reading level is really low. She defines really basic words like a vocabulary workbook for middle school kids. It takes a while to get past the teenage writing and vocab lessons: "Like OMG LOLOLOLOLOL" "What does delirious mean?" (Okay, so it is not THAT bad but you get my point).

*pulls Tempted off of bookcase and dusts it off* Hmmm.... I shall read it after I finish Acheron =3 Then maybe join your roleplay ;) Unless I have to read the newest one, then you might have to wait a bit.... Hold on, is your name from Vampire Academy, Lyssa? O.O

And like most of my roleplays here are deads, the Village of Preley is the only one people actually are responding to at the moment... *sob*

I remember the "childish" way the author wrote, but at the same time the plot she created was freakin creepy and very.... PG-13 to R with the sexual crap... O.o So it completely threw me off...

@Whisper: No, you just have to read Tempted for our role-play. We are starting it at the end of Tempted because we did not want to wait for Burned to come out.

Almost sounds like Twilight (minus the amazing), but I trust your judgment and assume it's way better! ahahahahaha

Pfft. Its completely different from Twilight and they base "vampirism" with the elemental powers, so it is very different and unique in a way. They aren't really called vampires (at least the main one) But I was pulled into the story by randomly picking the series up from Walmart... =3

And Lyssa just sounds so familiar.... it especially rings a bell from some book I've read... hmm.

My list of reasons why House of Night beats Twilight:
1. Zoey and Bella both struggle with boy issues. However, Zoey's struggles are more entertaining and she handles it better I think.
2. Both series change what it means to be a vampire. However, House of Night just does it better. Plus, there is no sparkling. LOL
3. House of Night has hot guys
4. House of Night has an actual plot beyond the romance
5. Secondary characters are not ignored in the House of Night. They actually drive the plot or get their own side plot.
6. House of Night can successfully change character point of view which Twilight failed at.
7. There is a lot of suspense in the House of Night
8. House of Night has the best goddess (Nyx) and their vampires do pagan-style rituals
9. Did I mention Zoey actually has a personality and appearance?
10. Not one boy is presented to be perfect like Edward is. Yay character flaws!

and Zoey is a whore! xD Just kidding, but she does have a LOOOOTTTT of boy problems :squee: now I really want to read it over.... It's been like sense October sense I last read.... no! It's been like sense Hunted came out~ cuz I bought it when it came out and then read it and then.... stopped reading them.... wow... O.O feel old now....
