I even surprise myself, sometimes. I taught middle school for the first time... the "Applied Technology" class. At the end of first period kids were muttering about how short I was and I kind of said "Yeah, with over 6 years experience as an IT tech!"...

... and then at lunch a girl came up to me and asked if I was new. Did I look that awkward?

... both the person who was babysitting them in first period and some of the kids near the end of the day asked how old I was.

Now I'm munching mango sorbet and I'm about to keel over.

@ meatballhead - Haha. well middle schoolers tend to have off the wall remarks XP I hated middle school because everyone was mean. It I ever were to teach I'd skip that age range all together :P I'd like to know why hight has to do with brains anyway. Haha.

But don't feel bad, if they're asking you how old you are they probably think you look young XD My old physics teacher in High School dressed up like a student for Halloween and the hall monitors kept yelling at him to get to class XD
