@The_Crow: Well, it has a following, but the "club" is only on Thursday and Sunday nights. The rest of the week it's a regular club called The Lizard Lounge. On Thursday and Sundays it's called "The Church." It has this raised dance floor with a stained glass window (sorta fake, in that it's not an actual window to the outside), and a balcony ... and another dance floor in another area. Thursdays it was more industrial music and Sundays it was more gothic.
And I totally get the laundry thing. Funny, I don't mind doing laundry now ... now that the husband usually does it. Mwahahahaha!

There is no way of actually knowing with out sending in a sample of the virus that is currently infecting my system. And from the sounds of it, H1N1 is the same as a normal flu, minus the wonderful benefits of being vaccinated against the disease.
In other words, I couldn't care less if I had H1N1 or the good old fashioned strain of flu.

@dezzds: Ah, you hit the nail on the head! Consistency!! Some people swear by crate training. NOT that I'm saying either way, I'm just saying ... there are different methods one can try.
{RANDOM}One of my cats is acting very strangely.... He's a talker but he's been VERY silent today. Not at ALL like he normally is. Hmmmm......{/RANDOM}

Death Guild, the San Francisco based club, has changed actual club venues at least three times since I've been old enough to go (I'm 24 now).
At first it was at this really cramped kind of grungy place that had these weird warped pool tables upstairs. The ambience was alot more 'goth', but they were going to tear down that whole building and a bunch of others to put in an effing J.C. Penny's or some lame thing like that. I do remember everyone outside smoking cloves and the weird glowing cocktail sign. Don't even know what the name of that place was.
It then moved back to the former "Troadero" now known as the Glas Kat. That was nice because there were two dance floors, the small one upstairs played the switchblade symphony ish stuff then the REALLY heavy stomp after midnight... three bars (one upstairs, seating, two downstairs, one facing the dance floor one facing the other room). It was great because an event that has a fair crossover of people "B.A.G.G." (short for bondage a go-go, not a sex club, no nudity but people get rather close sometimes). is on wednesday nights and still there.
It's great now that Death Guild is at DNA because they can host their own concerts in their own space. MEAT is another industrialish club of DNA and there's sometimes "MEAT vs Death Guild" nights where the DJs combine.
One time a couple of friends from texas visited. One was a psychic vampire, the other was more generically energy sensitive. Anyways, the vampire came up to me in distress halfway through the evening saying "I don't feed unless I have permission, but EVERYONE here is giving permission, what should I do?!?!"
I love looking at the past playlists and seeing when my requests got played. I have to drop whatever I"m drinking or whoever I'm talking to when my own damn request gets played. It's a rule. :cool:

When I joke around, I add a touch of seriousness to my jokes. It doesn't translate so well to web pages XD

Okay, for some reason, that really made me laugh! In a "wow, what a situation to be in" sorta laugh.
I think it's cool that there's a place like that. The Church is fun, but not really meant for concerts and the like. Sometimes I feel it needs a little bit of renovating, ya know. But, hey .... I haven't been there in ages, so, no skin off my back.

Hello hello. I'm being a loser face and not showing up very often. I need to poke my head in more. It's just that I've gotten addicted to a couple of other websites as well. I'll start to show up more though. -nods- I promise. ^_^

No, he's not really a "cough up hairballs" kinda cat. My other cat coughs sometimes. It's been rain and cool here, down from warm, so maybe the barometric pressure got to him, or something. I'll see how he is tomorrow, and give it a few days. Would hate to take him to the vet just because he's not talking, ya know? (And he is talking a little, just not his usual chatter.)
