I remeber when D.Gray Man became really popular about two years ago. It's kind of sad because now, there aren't many chapters coming out, I think the author is sick.

Heya Naoto!
I see you guys have been talking about Manga. I haven't really read much, though seen quite a few anime (and some way old school). I also collect doujinshi (though I have gotten in trouble before, when getting some off eBay before, ya know.... hehehe....).

What a fun class!! I have The Anime Encyclopedia (that has Astro Boy on the cover). My younger brother gave it to me for Christmas MANY years ago!
Is that the one you have?

yes it is. that class was just watching anime and talking about how the writer came up with the story and how it was drawn. it was a pretty awesome class man.

@Naoto: Very cool! What anime did you watch in the class?
@Riley_Dragonseeker: You know, I've only seen pieces of that one. One of my favorite old school anime is Candy, Candy. I really wish it weren't tied up in legalities so it could come out on DVD ... or something! I'm stuck finding bad videos online. *sigh*

Please watch your double posting. It is against the rules. I'm sure you don't mean to but be mindful, please.
No sense in getting a warning for something like this :)

-shakes head- Naoto, Naoto... I may not have much (or anything, actually) to say about yaoi/shounen-ai, but you really need to hear me out on this. You double posted a second time today. According to Kultura-sama's rules, that means you have earned a strike, as defined on the first page of the thread. If you earn a second strike, you will no longer be eligible for the starter set.
About three pages back I instructed you how to edit your first post instead of posting again right after another one. If you wish to remain eligible for this charity... for your own sake not mine... please take care to not double post.

@Naoto: Those are interesting to watch in a class. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love love Sailormoon, it's one of my all-time faves (and yes, I've seen almost every episode, just missed a few here and there from the last season), but I don't really see it as socially relevant for a college class. Well, maybe .... *shrug* Ever watch Grave of the Fireflies. Good movie, but SO sad (well, as in Schindler's List was good), but I would have thought it would be a more interesting sort of anime to watch ('course, maybe you did, dunno).
@Riley_Dragonseeker: Oh, if you ever get a chance to, you must! Well, if you like shojo anime. And, it's a period anime, set in ... England and America (mostly) before and during WWI. Definitely a drama, but I love it. ^_^
