I really love the word "splendiferous". Just seems to roll off the tongue so well. I also like "humuhumunukunukuapua'a", which is the name of my state fish. xD

I love the words:

maelstrom-it means a vicious, violent whirlpool, and saying it makes me smile.

aria-it's a solo, a song without music, and it's so pretty.

elegy-a requiem, and it reminds me of Legend of Zelda (Elegy of Emptiness, huh? nudge nudge)

elucidate-It means to explain something, and it reminds me of my fiance Lori.

placid-it means calm, and it sounds like what it means, don't you think?

Xerox-it's just fun to say! :D (It means copy, since it was such a popular brand)

harlequin-comically ridiculous, bright, and colorful. I love it for the definition and pronunciation.

My favourite word right now is the french word Bouleverse (bool.ee.vair.say.)- meaning overwhelmed. We learned about it in french class, but I knew of it before. I don't know I just find it incredibly fun to say, it kinda just 'pops' off your lips reminds me of beatboxing :P It's a fun word, give it a shot!

Chocolat. French for Chocolate, hehe.. And it just sounds a bit more seductive that Chocolate. I like seductive sounding words, hah.

I love to use the words "Excellent" and "Fabulous"
Both are great words because you can use them sarcastically or straight forwardly and not look like a fool.

For example
Boss "I need you to do 45 pages of paperwork by the end of the day"
A response of "Excellent" can sound positive, but really be sarcastic.

Fab...Well that word also be said with a very...gay male tone...and is SO much fun for it!

I tend to use the word "Aww" alot. I am considerate and caring towards other people so I always say it to show an understanding towards how a particular person feels.

Vituperat- In latin it means "curses, tells off". I like it because my latin teacher, who's welsh, says it really funny all the time. He made his favorite word my favorite word. (The V sounds like a W in latin and the u sounds like the oo in moon.)

one of my favorite words is "Betrothed" it's basically another way of saying engaged, but I remember first hearing it in a Castlevania game and I always thought of it with a romantisized and kinda epic lovelyness meaning (if that makes any sense) I just think of old fantasy romance story with a touch of darkness whenever I hear it :)

Flabbergasted - I find this word pretty fascinating. Its one of those words that you hear and it sounds like what it means. Plus, when you say it, it just sounds impressive because its quite a mouthful XD

Genki - It means 'in good spirits' in Japanese. I love the word because it embodies a spirit of what I want to always be. I hope to have positive energy where ever I go and always feel good about what is about to come. I really dislike having bad days so I always try to stay 'genki' when I can ^^"

Sale!!! - Doesn't the word just pop! The word 'sale' always catches my attention because I love to shop but I always don't have much money! The word 'sale' is sometimes what I think as God sent XD Whenever it appears in front of a store, even a hardware store, I always make a double take!

I think the word sumptuous sounds pretty seductive, if you say it really slow. xD

Ego, I am not really sure why, I don't have a huge one myself or care to know anyone with a huge ego. It's just been my favorite word since I was in about the 8th grade. Short and sweet I suppose.
