Sard looked up from the bar as he heard a new patron enter and smiled warmly, "Why hello there, miss, aren't you out late?" He chuckled and filled a mug of water extending his arm over the bar toward her, "Please, come take a seat." His tossed his bangs from his eyes, still holding the mug toward her.

"Hmm..." he said to himself, he stood up and walked over to the bedroom window, consumed by the moonbeam, it left his shadow stretched across the patterned carpet upon the floor. They were on the highest floor of the inn, you could see the whole forest stretch on for miles, he focused his senses, he was able to see and hear any suspicious things. He looked down at the ground and noticed Orchid walking toward the inn, he gave her a short glare, but after a few seconds, it faded away, he sensed nothing evil from her, so she wasn't the one he needed to worry about. But then, he heard the wind blowing from the west and it entered the window, it was cold and gave off a strange vibe, so he leaned out the window and looked west, his hands upon the windowsill.
He gave out a short gasp, he could see the faint burning of fire, coming from torches, he leaned out further, the wind blew once again, the people carrying the torches were the said people after Euphoria. He stepped away from the window and looked over at Euphoria, "they're coming... I've got to stop them, stay here, I'll be right back, if you need me, just say my name and I'll hear you." He ran toward the door and swiftly shut it behind him, he jogged down the stairs, wielding his sword and shield, growling slightly along the way, he was so focused that he didn't even notice Orchid, who he bumped into slightly as he left.
He jumped from the inn's porch and continued running, he disappeared into the forest, ready to ambush the enemies when they got close enough.

Euphoria gazed at Link as he stood in the window, his shadow falling directly over her. Having Luca and his cronies after her was horrible, but she sort of wished that she could just get it over with herself. She really hoped that Link was strong enough to take on all of those men. They were fierce, malicious, dirty fighters of the greatest skill and Link was running right into their clutches. Euphoria curled up in bed and waited for Link, her mind racing as she worried about him being torn apart, for Luca and his top two men were Werewolves, which partially explained their tracking ability.

Head perking up at the sound of a responding voice, seemingly cheery and warm, Orchid's smooth expression brightened as a true smile bloomed. Opening the door a bit more to slide her body into the establishment entirely, a cool blue hand moved quietly to set the door back to it's original position. "Eh...yes, I know it's late. I tend to enjoy life during the night however. Daylight can be too harsh and at times like this, you can enjoy a different kind of beauty than one normally see's during the day." Orchid had begun to reply as she moved closer, not wanting to offend the welcoming host.
Seeing his outstretched hand, her head bowed slightly as did most of the top half of her body as she showed her thanks. "Thank you, I'm really--" she was going to speak more until Link bumped into her, the impact shaking her a bit but other than that, she had keen enough senses and quick enough reflexes to keep from dropping to the ground or revealing any of her own weapons. The glow of his own weapons was peculiar and familiar at the same time, her silver hair whipping as she turned to watch him leave. "Hmm...he seems to be in a hurry to quite the inferno.." This language was both figurative and literal as the smell of the torches and even the men's sweat made it to her nose on the brief gust of wind from Link rushing past. "It seems that one of your patron's are troubled..?" Orchid inferred, tilting her head slightly as she turned to look back at Sard.

Link stayed quiet, he hid within the darkness of the trees and the bushes, slowly and silently creeping along, he was black as shadow except his wild blue eyes, but when the torches came closer, it lit him up as well as the forestry. One of the werewolves's ears turned toward Link's direction, it sniffed the air and growled, Link glared and got ready to slash the beast as it came closer to him. Luca and the rest stood back, making the light fade off of Link, turning him black as shadow again, he then jumped from the bushes, staring the bewildered beast in the face as he swung his blade. He sliced the werewolf in half, it let out a short, but loud roar before it fell to the ground and died, coating the green grass with its blood.
Luca grunted in confusion, he stepped forward slightly, toward Link, the torches light revealing him fully, Link looked back into Luca's eyes bravely, the werewolf's blood slowly dripping off his sword's blade. The other werewolf growled and and charged at Link, who ran back at the beast, the werewolf tackled Link, they then both flew backwards into the trees, growling, scratching, snapping of jaws and some painful sounding screams from Link could be heard. It echoed throughout the forest, entering the open windows of the inn, Luca chuckled to himself, thinking Link was eaten, but Link let out a shout and managed to stab the beast, which let out a loud howl.
Link then slowly left the cover of the trees, his face had some scratches, but his back, chest and legs had some bleeding gashes from the werewolf's claws, he was still standing, shaking a little from rage. The rest of Luca's goons came charging at Link, ready to kill him, but he tossed his shield to the side, his sword into the air and he reached into his item bag, he pulled out a deku nut. He tossed the nut, it burst on the ground, letting out a giant flash of light, blinding the attackers, using this chance, he pulled out a bomb from his item bag, it lit instantly and he tossed it at his enemies feet.
It exploded, killing most of his enemies, the sound of it practically shook the whole forest, as well as the inn, Link looked up and saw his sword was coming down, he jumped back and kicked the handle. It sent the sword flying into the chest of one of the explosion survivors, he fell over, dead, Link then jumped over, grabbing the sword and then he tackled the last survivor, killing him as well. Luca began to attack Link, but Link dropped his sword and jumped back, he wielded his bow and a single light arrow, he focused and made the Triforce mark glow, increasing the arrow's power, he let it fly. It pierced Luca's chest, the power of light released in a giant burst, filling the whole forest and the inn with light, Luca fell to the ground, dead, the light arrow faded away as he fell.
Link looked at all the damage he had done, but, he grabbed his shield and sword, putting them back on his person, the pain from his injuries became his one worry now, he headed back to the inn, limping slightly. He couldn't make it enough though, he passed out on the porch outside the door, but his hand slid down the door, making enough noise for someone to notice.

Euphoria waited and waited, before she heard commotion far off in the forest. Loud growls and roars, accompanied by the yelps and screams of Link. After awhile of silcence, tears streaming down her cheeks, Euphoria pushed open her room's door and made her way down the hall and stairs to the bar. she glanced at the newcomer and nodded before moving to the door and opening it just as Link's hand trailed down it. Euphoria went slightly paler than she already was and looked down, wide-eyed at the unconscious man lying in the doorway. "Uhm.. Oh, uh.. " Now wanting to cause a ruckus, she set Link's bloody sword and shield aside and picked him up carefully. Slowly, she walked upstairs with Link back to her room and laid him out on the bed. Sitting beside him, Euphoria took one of the man's hands and kissed it, holding it close to her as though in prayer.

Kane looked up suddenly as the noises outside reached his ears. He stood abruptly but upon meeting Sard's eyes he sat back down and folded his hands on the bar. He didn't want to get involved, he was just curious.
Sard nodded to his new guest as he watched the chaos unfold around them, "Yes, I'm afraid they do seem a little pre-occupied." When Euphoria passed him with Link's bleeding body in her arms he sighed, "There is to be no violence within my inn-- you are you own responsibility and me and my patrons are not going to give you medical attention. This is an inn, not a clinic." He set the mug down on the bar before Orchid and went back to polishing other mugs and glasses. "I know it may sound cruel, but it is a waste of time. If you are going to be stupid enough to get yourself hurt, you can deal with the consequences. If you are mauled by a bear and manage to crawl back here, than you may be aided, but if you do as our friend Link just did and leap into a battle you are unprepared for-- or any battle at all for that matter, it is your own fault you are hurt."
The satyr looked down at his hands, a grave expression on his face. Kane nodded and looked away from Orchid, sipping at his mug silently.

Ears twitching slightly, Orchid closed her eyes as the scene unfolded, almost playing in her mind like a movie since she wasn't out in the forest in person. With the winds, tree's and battle going on, the wild life was communicating everything to her, though some of the translations weren't quite accurate and were a bit fragmented. A part of her wished to assist, though she knew she really had no business getting involved. Moving over to the side, Orchid's slender body lifted itself onto a chair as she took the mug of water and sipped gratefully until the sound of Link's thudding hand came from the doorway. In any other situation, she would've been by him in an instant to help staunch the bleeding and assist further but it seemed his female friend had that covered. Listening to Sard, she couldn't help but wince from the bite in his words but they held a truth in them that Orchid couldn't deny. She was here for only a few moments and already, chaos was breaking loose.
Watching as the two disappeared upstairs, Orchid turned to Sard and Kane with a sad look on her face. "I hope I haven't brought bad fortune to your Inn. If so, please forgive me." she murmured with a slight bow of her head. "My name is Orchid, please pardon me for not stating my name earlier. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, I'd like to stay here until I can figure out where to go to next for it seems I have lost my way..." To Orchid, it seemed like she was rambling, so her melodic voice stopped pressing forth from her soft lips as she tried to put on a more cheerful expression. "Hopefully this shall be the only incident. Maybe we're lucky to have a warrior on our hands, however reckless he may be."

Euphoria held Link's left hand, her actions managed to activate the Triforce, which began to glow brightly, his fingers twitched and he slowly opened his eyes, the power of the Triforce helped him recover consciousness. He turned his head toward her, "Eu.... Euphoria?" He asked weakly, he turned his head away though, a painful look on his face, he grunted a little as he sat up slowly, he reached into his item bag with his free hand and pulled out a red potion. He bit on the cork, the bottle popped open and he spit the cork out onto his lap, he then drank the potion quickly, his wounds soon healed, leaving no scars and his strength returned to him, he let out a short, refreshed gasp and put the bottle away.
He smiled gently and turned toward Euphoria, legs off the bed, he then pulled her in toward him and gave her a hug, "I'm so sorry for worrying you... please, forgive me and my recklessness. I'll never upset you again" he frowned, closed his eyes and hugged her a bit tighter.

Euphoria was startled slightly by Link's glowing triforce. Her fingertips lightly traced over it, even after he had regained consciousness. His eyes opening brought just a couple of tears of relief to her eyes that spilled over her long eyelashes and rolled down her face. "Wh-what happened out there?" her voice was so soft and gentle..
After Link drank his potion, miraculously healing, Euphoria again enjoyed his strong embrace, smiling and snuggling warmly against his chest. When he apologized, she chuckled softly and looked up to him from the spot on his shoulder she'd chosen to rest her head on. "Don't apologize.. You just removed the hardest problem in my life, Link.." Euphoria tilted back herhead and brushed the corner of Link's jaw with her lips. "I should be the one apologizing.. I put you up to it.." She sighed and rested back against him.

He managed to smile as Euphoria spoke, "you have no reason to say sorry, I could've easily denied helping you, so expect me to sustain a few injuries, which are no problem for me, I've gone through worse." He went silent for a second, thinking about her question of what happened during the fight, he sighed and held her closer, "it was gruesome... what I did to them, but I spare no mercy for evil beings." He moved back a bit, looking into her eyes, he just couldn't smile, the vision of the battle kept playing in his mind, it was something he wanted to forget, but never will, another memory he didn't want.
He looked away, "perhaps its time you get some sleep, it is pretty late now..." he then looked back and blinked a few times, then he kissed her on the cheek, he helped her up and gave her his room key. "Here, you should sleep in my room's bed, I seem to have ruined yours... I won't need it, since I won't be sleeping tonight..." he gave her one last, quick hug and walked over to the door, opening it slowly, he looked back at her. "Good night Euphoria..." he sounded depressed, he then left her room, but he kept her door open for when she left for his room, he headed down the hall and descended the stairs.
He sat down at the table and in the chair, farthest away from everyone, he looked so upset, the bittersweet taste of his victory wouldn't leave him, his left arm held his forehead and his right arm rested on the table, bent toward his other arm.

Sard shook his head, "You're not the problem at all. And I am thankful for Link's presence... I am not thankful for the fact that you have been troubled by his actions." He looked up and offered a forced smile, "I am sorry that I seem very harsh right now, but violence has a tendency to upset me and alter my mood. I have had bad experiences in the past."
Kane nodded and sipped at his water, "Ma'am-- Orchid, if I may. Please dun be upset by the nature of our inn-- it usually be a merry place." He grinned sincerely and stood, making his way closer to her and holding out his free hand, "My name is Kane, and this be Sardonis."
Sard smiled down at his guest, "You may call me Sard."

Smiling warmly to them all, Orchid shook her head slightly as she finished her last bit of water with an appreciative swallow, her cool blue-gray eyes further communicated her warm feelings. "The inn is just fine and there's nothing wrong with Link and by the looks of it, everything will be fine." she replied as a careful finger traced over her dangling necklace. Seeing Link plop down into a chair, a look of sympathy washed over her face but her gaze didn't linger. Turning back to Sardonis and Kane, her head bowed lightly as she smiled with a genuine gentleness. "It's truly a pleasure to meet you both." her soft melodic voice chimed from her lips.
Pushing away from the bar as she stood up, Orchid smoothed down her skirt before her hands found a resting place beside her hips. "Perhaps we should do something to lighten the mood a tad bit before we call it a night. Maybe some light-hearted music?" Orchid suggested something to help the heavy mood dissipate.

Kane grinned and stood, making his way over to the stage, "That's what we were doing just before you showed up!" He smiled as he lifted his lute gently and began to strum out a a happy little tune loved by many that was usually accompanied by a dance in which two partners held their hands together at arms length and spun wildly until the tune had ended, leaving them dizzy and breathless.
After the first few notes, Sard recognized the tune and smiled reminiscently, "Oh I haven't heard this in ages, too bad my dancing partner disappeared." He chuckled and looked to Orchid, "Will you give me the pleasure of this dance?" He cocked his head with question and offered her a kind smile.

A lute. This guy had a lute. Oh how Orchid's heart swelled with happiness, for she too had a lute that she carried just about everywhere with her. This brought a pleased smile to her face as the first strings were plucked and the familiar sound floated with ease to her sensitive ears. Beginning to tap her foot lightly to the beat, Orchid tried to place the tune but it was lost to her, brows furrowing as she thought. She didn't seem to notice Sard's question but once she heard her name, his sentence replayed in her head for her to register what was currently going on.
Blinking away her deep thought, her head turned to put his image back in her vision before a tiny blush skirted over her cheeks. "Nani...? Me...?" she knew he had said her name, but she was caught off guard regardless. "Oh, sure." ^---^ Standing up, Orchid wasn't sure how this was going to work seeing as she hadn't the slightest clue about what this song was, therefore not knowing how to dance to this particular tune. "You may have to lead me..." her melodic voice chimmed softly.

Kane played the first verse again as he watched his friend begin to dance, giving them a little more time to enjoy themselves. He was enjoying himself as well and wanted to play for as long as possible.

"I hope we don't make too big fools of ourselves and fall over." she said with a tiny giggle, her cheeks rounding as she smiled some more.

Hearing the music, seeing his new friends dancing and having fun managed to cheer him up a little, he rested his arms on the table and looked at them with a small smile. However, his smile seemed to fade away, he wanted to participate in the fun, but his spirit just wasn't there at the moment, so he stood up slowly. He walked past the tables and picked up his sword and shield, putting them on his back once more, then he left the inn, shutting the door behind him, he needed to be alone at this point. He sat down on the porch, arms resting on his thighs and his hands between them, it was rather cold and windy that night, his hat flying wildly in the wind's direction.
He sighed and looked down at the ground, his ears perked up though, a look of surprise on his face, he heard a faint twinkle, he then looked up at the sky to see a shooting star. He chuckled lightly as it flew and faded away, he sighed afterwards though, hands supporting his head up, "wonder if Euphoria fell asleep already..." He felt weird saying that for some reason, of course she went to sleep... maybe.

Euphoria went to Link's room and sat in his bed, the door still open. There wasn't any way she'd be able to sleep tonight, not with the excitement and horror of Link's battle with Luca. The woman moved to open the window and climb out onto the ledge outside of it, to sit and enjoy the cool night breeze. She heard link's voice and smiled fondly, wondering if he'd come up to try to sleep with her.

Just then, he felt a familiar presence, his ears perked up and he looked toward Euphoria's window, seeing her sitting on the ledge, he managed to smile, knowing she was still awake. He stood up and walked off the porch, onto the grass below and he walked closer to the window, "Euphoria... are you alright? I can sense that... maybe you'd like some company" he smiled sweetly up at her. He then started to jump up upon the canopies of the inn to try and reach Euphoria's window, which he managed to do, he sat on the ledge next to her, looking at her shyly. "It truly is a beautiful night... shame it had to be soiled with my past actions..." he didn't really like the fact he brought that up, but it seemed to just come out, he couldn't control it.
"I'm sorry... I should really keep my mouth shut sometimes" he grew embarrassed and looked away, flustered.

Euphoria smiled softly down at Link from her perch on the windowsill when he noticed her. She raised a hand and her fingertips flittered in greeting and little bursts of wind blew her hair and dress around her sightly. The moon shined brightly on her pale skin and she appeared to glow softly. She looked like a goddess of the night, so elegant and serene.
As he arrived up on the ledge beside her, one of her hands reached out and rested lightly on his shoulder, her touch warm and feather-soft. "Mmm.." Her voice was musical. "I would enjoy your company." Euphoria flashed her dazzling smile, so bright in the moon and starlight. The woman moved slightly closer to Link as he spoke and her hand moved to trail one fingertip along his jaw. "No, you shouldn't. I really like it when you talk."

He was smiling vividly, obviously enjoying himself. It had been a long time sense he had did this dance solo and wondered if he still could, maybe once Orchid was tired he would try to do it on stage. Letting go of one of Sard's hands for only a moment, Orchid quickly tied up her thick silver hair into a twisting ponytail that wouldn't whip around as much as her free falling hairstyle would permit. Hearing Kane speak of speeding things up, the dark elf smiled as she gave a short nod and began to move at a faster pace. This was such a silly dance but it made her happy nonetheless. Giggling softly, Orchid did her best to keep up with her dancing partner. "This is so much fun." ^--^
