Well, it's a really Spanish last name, yeah, cuz my Great-Grandpa was from Spain, and it's been all male Romeros up until me. Teachers always pronounce it "Rrrrrrromerrro," rolling the r's and then they look at me weird when they see I'm white. xD So, the administrators don't want to take the chance of me taking a class on a language I already know. :roll:

my school had mandatory of 1 year of a language in order to graduate.... and we had spanish/french prep in 8th grade so that we'd know if we wanted to take either once we got to pick our classes for 9th grade.
I asked for spanish for EVERY year, yet they didn't give it to me, I got my schedule for my senior year and STILL didn't have spanish, so I had to go to my guidance person and said that they still hadn't given me a language and I would LIKE to graduate...... so I was the only senior in a class full of EFFING 9th graders
