I'm a girl, and I tend to have girl avatars which I either dress in an androgynous or super-cute style. More often leaning towards the former, but sometimes I see something pink/frilly that I just have to have. XD

I've had a few male avatars on various sites and games. For me, it usually comes down to which gender's items I like better. I don't feel the need to make sure I accurately represent my RL gender or anything. In fact, on Gaia, I delighted in dressing my female avatar in items which hid her shape and giving her short hair and seeing how many people I could confuse. :3

Yes, my avatar is the same gender as my real life gender.

If I can choose, I always pick females 'cause I have a hard time playing males unless I absolutely have to (like in console games where you don't get to pick who you play). I just end up feeling awkward playing the opposite gender for whatever reason. :ninja:

Well, yes my avi represents my true gender. I've considered making a male mule, but never got around to it. Looking around at the outfits and everything, I think I might just stick to the girl, I've always had more fun shopping for girls than for boys anyways. =)

Yes; I think it's just habit more than anything. I've always thought that the feminine items were more appealing, although I am also drawn to male avatars and items.
It's really about whatever I decide to go for that day. It changes often.

Yes, my avatar's gender is my own gender. Female items just seem more appealing to me. Also on Gaias' Tektek site I decided to try an experiment. I created a male avatar and fitted him with, well, male clothing, but then, I went back and changed the gender and it still looked better on the female! :'D

Mine's the same as i am, simply because i prefer girls clothes to boys. That and the clothes i like suit girls more xD
