"Oh." Ariala said as she looked down at the small elf. "Dimeria, what's wrong?" She asked nervously as she picked up the elf and cradled the elf to her chest. "What is it?" She asked, her voice turning to worry.

"Bed," whispered Dimeria through her tears. As any young child of Dimeria's age, she thought there was a monster under the bed. Was there actually one there? Who knew. It could be an animal, it could be clothing, it could be a stuffed animal. Dimeria only knew that there was something under there that woke her up and scared her to pieces.

"There's something wrong with the bed?" Ariala asked, slightly confused as she shut off the oven and carried Dimeria back into the bedroom. "What's wrong, Dimeria?" She asked softly as she rubbed the elf's back soothingly.

"Scary," was all Dimeria could say through her sobs as she wrapped her arms around Ariala's neck after pointing at the gap beneath her bed.

"Dimeria." Ariala soothed as she flicked on the light before wrapping her arms tighter around the small elf. "I'll make sure there's nothing under there, alright?" She offered as she wiped away Dimeria's tears and placed her gently on the ground. Ariala placed a soft kiss on Dimeria's forehead before moving to the bed and looked underneath.

Smiling happily, Ariala held up a black stuffed bear that she showed Dimeria. "Its just a toy, honey. There's nothing scary under here. I promise." She smiled comfortingly as she moved over to Dimeria and placed the bear in her hands and wrapped her arms around the girl's shoulders. "Do you need me to check anything else?" Ariala asked as he stomach rumbled silently.

Hugging both bears, Dimeria placed a kiss on Ari's cheek before shaking her head and trying to stop her tears between her sniffles. "Night light?"

"Of course." Ariala smiled as she wiped away a few tears and moved to the closet to retrieve one of her old night lights. "How's this?" Ariala asked as he put in the small light and turned off the light in the ceiling so that there was a dim glow. "Better?" She asked cheerfully as she picked up Dimeria and tucked her into the guest bed.

Dimeria nodded as she snuggled down with her own teddy as well as the one that was under the bed, "Thank you Ari. Night night," Dimeria said softly before yawning a small yawn into the back of her teddy's head and closing her eyes, falling asleep soon after, a few tears still trickling from her eyes down her cheeks.

Ariala smiled as she kissed Dimeria's forehead gently before moving back to the kitchen and warming up the potatoes and onions, shoving them in hr mouth greddily as soon as they were done. Yawning as she set the plate in the sink, not caring about the pan which still sat on the stove, Ariala made her way back into the bedroom and wrapped her arms around Dimitrius to curl at his side. Ariala yawned once more before falling asleep in Dimitrius's arms for the second time that night.

Smiling, Dimitrius wrapped his arm around Ariala and held her close, placing a light kiss upon her head before resting his cheek against it. He'd heard Dimeria crying, and that woke him up. But hearing Ariala out in the kitchen, he figured she would take care of her. Now that Ariala was back in bed, he figured Dimeria was alright but would wait and ask in the morning, hearing the even breathing of Ariala and assuming she was already fast asleep.

Ariala sighed early the next morning as she felt her stomach roll with nausea. Getting out of the bed hastily, Ariala mae her way to the bathroom to relieve herself of her morning sickness before walking into the kitchen and putting on water for tea.

Dimitrius rubbed the sleep from his eyes as he slid out of bed, taking all of the sheets with him so he could do laundry that morning after he had some breakfast. Tossing the sheets in the hamper of the bathroom, Dimitrius made his way to Ariala and placed a tender kiss upon her forehead, "Morning love, was Dimeria alright last night?"

"She thought there was a monster was under her bed." Ariala explained as she poured some water over her mother's tea leaves and took a sip. "It turns out it was just a toy so she's alright now." Ariala assured him before giving his lips a soft kiss.

Dimitrius sighed as he started preparing veggies for an omelet, "She's getting frightened a lot lately.. Isn't there anything we can do? Perhaps if there are other children for her to play with, her imagination wouldn't run so wild and frighten her at night?" he suggested as he finished preparing the veggies and got out a pan and some eggs. "Feeling up to one?" Dimitrius asked as he motioned towards the bowl where he was now preparing the omelet batter.

"No thank you." Ariala smiled before giving Dimitrius's cheek a quick kiss. "But I'm sure I can find another little girl for Dimeria to play with. Erreminette has a young cousin about Dimeria's age that she watches alot. We could introduce them." Ariala offered as she finished her tea and set the cup in the sink before taking two pieces of bread to toast.

Dimitrius nodded as he poured the batter into the pan and let it sit while he put everything away and got out a plate for himself and Ariala, as well as a cup for Earl Grey tea. "I think she'd like that. She's never had a friend outside of that Palace, aside from us adults. I think these nightmares may reside if she has someone to talk to her own age and to let out her creativity with games that she could only play with a child her age. What's Erre's cousin like? Is she anything like Dimeria in temper?"

"Liah's shy at first but once you get to know her she's a doll." Ariala explained. "She'll probably take a day or two to warm up to you but she'll love Dimeria in a heartbeat. She doesn't have a temper but maybe that's because she doesn't have an older brother that's hot tempered like you." Ariala teased as she stood up on her toes to give Dimitrius's cheek a soft kiss. "We can bring Dimeria over to Erre's today. Erreminette said she was babysitting again." She said as she buttered her toast and put it on a plate before moving to the table.

Dimitrius chuckled as he slid his omelet onto his plate and grabbed the tealeaves for his tea. Pouring hot water into the cup before putting the tealeaves away, Dimitrius smiled at the smell of his tea and brought his breakfast to the table. "She may not have an elder brother with a quick temper, but she does have a cousin with one," he teased as he took a bite of his omelet, "But I'm glad. She will be a good balance of Ria. I just hope it goes well and Ria isn't too shy," Dimitrius added as he took a sip of his tea. "Shall we plan to take the girls to the meadow this afternoon? That way we can check on the house and Erre can see it's beginning form," Dimitrius suggested as he took another bite of his omelet.

"That sounds good." Ariala smiled as she ate some of her toast, fighting back the roll of her stomach at the smell of the eggs. "And Erre only has a temper when someone provokes her. Plus she was just trying to stnad up for yours truly." She smiled sweetly with a wink.

"Very true," Dimitrius said with a smile as he finished his omelet and sipped his tea. Standing up, Dimitrius brought all of the empty dishes to the sink and began doing the dishes. Noticing a few dishes from last night, Dimitrius chuckled as he teased, "You should have woke me if you were having cravings, I would have made you something."

Emelaide smiled as she placed light kisses upon Marreck's neck before moving to his jaw and leaving tender kisses. "Marreck," she whispered lightly against his skin, "Marreck. Wake up," she whispered against his lips before placing a tender kiss upon them.

"I was in a hurry." Ariala blushed as she finished her toast and brought her plate over to Dimitrius. "I'm going to get dressed and go over to Erre's." Ariala said, placing a kiss on Dimitrius's cheek. "It smells like egg in here." She said, wrinkling her nose slightly. "Erre, Liah, and I can make sandwiches and we can meet in the meadow for lunch." She said before moving to the bathroom and showering before going into the bedroom, wrapped in a towel, as she began to pick out clothes for the day.

"Hm?" Marreck murmured against Emelaide's lips before waking up to see her face directly in front of his own. "Morning, love." He smiled before arching his neck to give her a tender kiss. "What do you want for breakfast?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Dimitrius blushed as he finished the dishes and headed into the bedroom. Leaning against the door frame, Dimitrius sighed as he looked over at Ariala, "If eggs make you sick to your stomach, why didn't you tell me.. I wouldn't have cooked them if I knew.."

"I'm thinking fruit. Lots and lots of Elimlee fruit. I have a craving, but I don't know what it's for. I only know it's Elimlee fruit and tastes really really sweet," said Emelaide with a laugh as she placed a tender kiss upon Marreck's lips, "Do we have any fruit?"

"Its not so bad." Ariala shrugged as she changed into a pink lace underwear set and a green summer dress before moving over to Dimitrius. "Its just the smell." She said with a smile before placing a tender kiss on Dimitrius's lips. "Don't worry. You forehead will get wrinkly." She teased.

"Well we have berries and apples and oranges. Or there's watermelon or honeydew and we might have some cantalope." Marreck smiled. "Pick your poison, love." He said before giving her a soft kiss.

Dimitrius chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her waist, "I'll worry for as long as you keep getting sick. I promise, from now on I'll wait until you're out of the house if I want eggs, or I'll find an alternate breakfast," added Dimitrius with a smile as he placed a tender kiss upon her lips, "I love you."

Emelaide's mouth watered slightly at the sound of the different fruits, "Mmmm.. It all sounds so good.. Is all of it a choice?" she asked with a smile upon her face as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips.

"I love you too." Ariala smiled as she returned his kiss happily. "Bye." She murmured as she reluctantly broke their kiss and took off for Erreminette's house.

"La!" Liah, a young spring elf with Erreminette's red hair and brilliant blue eyes, cried happily as she ran to Ariala's side.

"Hi Liah." Ariala laughed as she picked up the younger elf who placed her head in the crook of Ariala's neck and sucked her thumb contently.

"Hey, Ari." Erreminette said as she walked over to the two.

"Hey, Erre. I was wondering if you and Liah wanted to come to the meadow for lunch with Dimitrius and Dimeria? We think it'd be good for Dimeria to have friends her age, you know. She's been having nightmares." Ariala explained while Erreminette nodded her head in agreement.

"I want La." Liah argued as she wrapped her arms around Ariala's neck.

"I'll be there." Ariala assured her as the three walked into the kitchen. "But let's make lunch first." She laughed.

"Your wish is my command." Marreck smiled as he shifted out of the bed and made his way to the kitchen where he began to cut up fruit.
