Erreminette felt her cheeks blush a bright pink as she glared defensively at Dimitrius. "Perhaps if a certain Winter Elf had kept my cousin int he meadow like he promised I wouldn't be searching for her here." She said as Liah climbed into her lap. "But no, you just had to disappear with them. Don't blame me for being worried." She huffed.

"Erre its alright." Marreck soothed. "No one's blaming you for anything." He said, shooting a quick glare at Dimitrius. "We just want you to stay warm." He said as Erreminette shuttered under the thick wool of his coat.

"I'm sorry Erre.. Dimeria wanted her tea set so we came to get it so they could have a tea party.. Then Em.. Well.. Marreck can tell you her situation. I'm sorry we got sidetracked.. I didn't think.. Forgive me," Dimitrius apologized softly, guilt taking over as he sighed as sat in the chair beside her.

"Emelaide?" Erreminette asked, her lips pulling back slightly in disgust. "Is she here?" She asked, looking at Marreck.

"Erre can you just relax?" Marreck sighed with an eye roll before taking another bite of his soup. "Emelaide isn't feeling well. Her magic is acting strangely because of the pregnancy. The Winterglade weather is helping her." He explained.

"Just because she's sick doesn't mean I have to like her." Erreminette mumbled under her breath before taking a sip of the hot soup, letting it warm her.

"Erreminette." Marreck warned, his voice low.

"Well its true, Mar." Erreminette said defensively. "Serves her right for freezing me. I could've died but she didn't care then so I fail to see why I should pity her." She pouted.

"Perhaps because if she dies, the twins die with her, as does your best friend's happiness," Dimitrius said bitterly, "How do you think Marreck will feel when Emelaide dies because of her magic and the twins magic combined? Will you be saying 'Serves her right!' then Erre? She almost died this morning, Erre, that's why she's here. You really should think about the whole of the situation before you speak, not just about your fight with Emelaide," Dimitrius said bitterly before leaving the table and going into Cindalina's bedroom, sitting in the chair across from Emelaide's bed with a sigh as he propped his elbows upon his thighs and buried his face within his hands.

"He's right." Marreck hissed. "She's seriously sick." He said angrily as he stood from the table.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Erreminette said, sarcasm dripping off her every word. "I should really be more considerate to the health of the girl who tried to kill me. You know? Come to think of it its you should I probably pity you because you're stuck with her the rest of your life." She said, her face red with anger. "You know I would never wish for any death or harm to come to your children or your fiancee but when my cousin disappears and I end up trudging through snow in one of my favorite Spring dresses I tend to be a bit bitter." She said.

"So its my fault that you didn't change?" Marreck asked, his voice high.

"No, its your fault for trying to put me down when I get a bit upset over your fiance's attempt on my life." Erreminette said as Liah stepped off her lap so that Erreminette could stand.

"Your being a tad dramatic don't you think?" Marreck asked, his voice low.

"No, I'm being realistic." Erreminette countered. "I'm cold, I'm bitter, and I frankly I'm a little ticked that my best friend is always at odds with me because of what his love for the week is. You'd always take Ariala's side even when you knew she was in the wrong and you're doing it again with Emelaide." She said heatedly.

"Well excuse me for being concerned for our twins!" Marreck yelled before throwing his hands in the air and disappearing into the bedroom.

"Right because why should your best friend matter when clearly you have much more important things to worry about." Erreminette asked no one as she tightened Marreck's jacket around her and scooped Liah into her arms. "If I'm going to be second rate all the time then I don't see the point of staying." She said defiantly before marching out the door and heading back towards Elimlee.

"I'm sorry Marreck," Dimitrius said softly, not looking up from his hands, "I did not mean to cause a quarrel. I like Erre as much as you do, but when she says things like that about Em I.. I lost my temper, forgive me."

"Mar? What's going on? What's all the shouting for?" Emelaide mumbled sleepily as she barely managed to move her hand to rub the sleep from her eyes, "Is everything alright?"

Cindalina sighed as she sat with Careon at the table, not surprised that Dimeria was still asleep upon the couch. An antronesiaquake couldn't even wake that girl.

"We're in for one long lifetime..." Cindalina whispered softly, sadly, as she sipped her tea. Careon simply nodding as Hathom sat down and joined them in their tea.

"Everything is alright." Marreck soothed as he kneeled near Emelaide's head and gave her lips a soft kiss. "There's no need to be upset." He promised. "Erre and I just got a little heated. I swear her and Ariala both have some kind of magic to press my buttons. We'll be freinds again by dinner, we just needed to clear our heads and getting angry is how we do it." He laughed, shaking his head. "There's nothing to worry about." He said as he stroked Emelaide's hair gently.

Emelaide sighed as she reached out and weakly caressed his cheek, trying to pull his lips back to hers for another kiss. "I'm sorry Mar.. Do I dare ask what instigated the fighting this time?" Emelaide whispered as her nose brushed against his gently.

"Em, you don't want to know right now," Dimitrius warned softly before standing and leaving the couple to themselves, not wanting to intrude any longer.

"Oh dear.. How awful is it.. What vile thing has she said now to upset even Dimitrius...?" Emelaide whispered, worry in her voice, despite Dimitrius's intent.

"Erre has a temper." Marreck siged before giving Emelaide another kiss. "Its not surprising that Dimitrius got upset but Em, I promise this will all blow over. I just want you to focus on getting better." He said.

Emelaide sighed as she placed a tender kiss upon Marreck's lips. "I will get better," Emelaide assured him with a warm smile, "I promise you. But you have to promise me you won't keep fighting with your best friends.. It seems all you have done with them since you met me is fight," Emelaide added in a whisper, getting the hint that the fight was about her due to neither of the men telling her the cause.

Marreck couldn't help but crack a smile when Emelaide said this and stroke her cheek soothingly. "Erre, Ariala, and I fight like cats and dogs, Em." Marreck assured her. "Its just how we get our anger out. I know its not the best way but we're not really into sharing our feelings so sometimes we just blow up." He said, shaking his head. "When you're well enough to return to Elimlee I'll talk to her and things will be better again." He promised.

Emelaide sighed as she leaned into his hand, "Mar... I may not be better for quite some time... You should go and speak with her.. Besides, I doubt you've brought anything with you to stay for awhile and Cindalina may not have clothes for you.. I don't need you catching pneumonia," Emelaide said with a sigh as she tried her best to keep the temperatures a bit warmer than usual for Marreck's sake.

Hathom, noticing the temperature change, went to the bedroom and knocked on the door as he warned, "Em, stop using your magic."

Blushing, Emelaide giggled as she placed a kiss upon Marreck's lips, "Guess I was caught, huh."

Sitting outside her door, Hathom fixed the temperatures around Emelaide before raising them around Marreck, figuring that was what she had intended to begin with.

"Emelaide." Marreck sighed. "Would you please at least try to rest?" He asked, his voice pleading as his eyes softened. "How do you expect me to keep my sanity if you refuse to take care of yourself?" He asked.

Emelaide blushed as averted her eyes from his, "I'm sorry Marreck.. I just.. I hate seeing you have to suffer on account of me.. If you're not freezing to death on account of me, you're boiling out of your skin or you're fighting with your best friends... all because of me.."

"Em." Marreck chided as he lifted her chin so that they're eyes met. "You know as well as I do that this wouldn't be happening if you were pregnant. This is just your body's reactions to the twins, love. You have no need to blame yourself for things that aren't in your control." He promised as he repressed a small shiver.

Looking into the chocolate brown eyes she adored, Emelaide sighed as tenderly caressed his cheek with her palm. "I know, but I still feel wretched because I can't to anything to stop it and need others to counter-control my magic in order to keep you safe," Emelaide whispered against his lips between long, soft, tender kisses.

"Its only temporary, my love." Marreck murmured against her lips as he tangled a hand in her soft hair. "It'll be better soon." He assured her before catching her lips in another kiss.

"I hope so," Emelaide whispered against his lips as she pulled him closer to her as best she could in her weakened state, "I especially hate not being able to kiss and love you the way I wish."

"Me too." Marreck admitted with a laugh as he leaned in to give Emelaide another kiss, his tongue parting her lips as he did so. "I love you." He murmured as he traced kiss along her jaw to her ear then back to her lips.

"I love you too," Emelaide managed to whisper as her magic went a flutter with desire as Marreck kissed her, her grasp in his hair tightening slightly, "I love you so so much, Marreck.. No matter what happens, that is never going to change."

"I love you too." Marreck managed to murmur as he pulled Emelaide closer ot him to return her kisses, locking an arm around her slim waist and a hand in her hair.

Eagerly returning his kisses as she pressed against him, Emelaide's magic continued to run haywire as she lost focus and her fingertips unconsciously began to slide under Marreck's shirt, as if to remove it, and tenderly pulling him closer to her. "Mar.."

Marreck felt shivers alternate with hot flashes as he quickly took Emelaide's hand out from under his shirt. "Not here, love." He said softly before continuing their kisses.

"I'm sorry," Emelaide whispered between kisses, though she honestly wasn't sorry it all for feeling like she was, only sorry they weren't at home. However, she could wait a few weeks until she was able to go home. Until then, Emelaide would be satisfied with just kissing the man she was completely in love with.

"I love you Marreck," Emelaide murmured softly against his lips between long, tender kisses, "And I promise you, the moment I am strong enough to get out of this bed, I plan on marrying you as long as you'll have me."

"Forever then." Marreck smiled against her lips as one hand lingered over her stomach where their twins lay. "I love you too, Em." He promised between kisses, at bliss being able to talk to and kiss his wife-to-be as if the worry before had never happened.
