Dimitrius smiled as he stood up and walked over to her. Slipping his arms around her waist, he rested his chin on her shoulder as he whispered softly, "At least it's smelling good. That's always a good sign, right?"

"Usually." Ariala said, leaning back against Dimitrius as she turned on the water to soak the dishes. Turning around, Ariala placed a tender kiss on Dimitrius's lips before slipping out of his embrace and finding a kettle.

"At least her kitchen is organized." Ariala laughed as she filled it with water and placed it on the stove.

Dimitrius rolled his eyes playfully, "Mine's organized too. It's not my fault you've yet to figure out the organization method."

Going back to the table and sitting down, Dimitrius began thinking about after they left here. "Ariala.. even though we're married.. what are we going to do about living arrangements? You hate being in Winterglade, it's too cold for you.. and I can't move to Elimlee.. Are we just going to do what we've been doing? Alternating where we stay every couple of days until the house is complete?"

"You don't have an organization method." Ariala laughed, finding ingredients for a salad. "And I don't hate Winterglade. I'm just getting used to it. But I think switching would be convient, its to far for me to run to get to lessons from Winterglade. Maybe if we stay in Elimlee when I have lessons and Winterglade when I have a break?" Ariala suggested, dumping the salad into a large bowl and mixing dressing into it.

"What about your parents? What will they think? I don't want to anger them.. I haven't even met them," she admitted shyly with a blush, "I'm afraid they already won't like me... But if your parents don't mind it, I won't be against it. I'll see to the construction of the house while you're at lessons to occupy my time while you're gone."

"It isn't my parents' decision." Ariala said bitterly, remembering how Adan had told her of her parents' suggestion for lunch. She checked the macaroni and cheese, satisfied with ow it looked. Finding pot holders, Ariala brought the dish out of the oven and placed it on the table next to the bowl of salad.

After finding plates and silverware, Ariala moved back to the table and placed a set in fron tof Dimitrius and one for her. She poured the tea into two cups, putting them beside the plates before sitting down.

"Sore subject, I see.." Dimitrius said softly as he put a bit of the salad and macaroni onto his plate, "But since it is their house, I would prefer to get their permission before practically moving in."

Taking a bit of the macaroni and cheese, Dimitrius couldn't help but chuckle, honestly surprised at how good it tasted. Swallowing, Dimitrius smiled at Ariala, "Ari, it's not half-bad. A bit more cheese could have been used, but over all it's pretty good."

"Thank you." Ariala said, taking some macaroni and cheese and salad for herself. "I'mjust not sure how to talk to my parents right now. They want to set up a lunch to talk but they want Adan to go and I don't want to go with him." Ariala said quickly before taking a bite of her salad. "I just want things to go over smoothly and I know they're not going to."

Dimitrius sighed, "Adan.. always Adan. Can't your parents realize you don't love him and never will? He's not good enough for you. He's a spineless cad who needs to stay away from you. I don't understand how they don't see that," he added bitterly as he angrily shoved more macaroni and cheese into his mouth.

"I know that." Ariala said. "And you know that and all of our friends know it. So let's not talk about it anymore. I'm sorry I brought it up. It is our wedding night after all." She said with a smile, taking a few bites of her macaroni and cheese. "You weren't just being nice to spare my feelings. This actually is pretty good." She laughed.

"I told you I wouldn't lie to you," Dimitrius teased with a sigh, "And you're right, let's forget about him. From now and until we return home, we shall think of nothing but us and our future," he added as he sipped his tea.

"I didn't think I'd do this good." Ariala blushed. "I was looking through recipes because I wanted to make something special tonight." She said quietly, taking another bite of her macaroni and cheese. "I'm glad it wasn't a disaster like I imagined it."

Dimitrius smiled as he reached across the table and gently caressed her cheek, "Ari, have a little bit more faith in yourself - I do."

Brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, Dimitrius couldn't help but smile at how beautiful she looked as he took a bite of his salad.

"You've obviously never seen my previous cooking disasters." Ariala laughed. "There was a time I tried to cook a stir-fry of vegetables. Everything was charred, it was horrible. The pan couldn't even be saved." Ariala shook her head. "But I tried. That's something." She added.

Dimitrius laughed as he teased, "Somehow that doesn't surprised me, my dear. But I will give you credit for trying. Better to try and fail and improve, than to succeed without even trying and not appreciate it. Not to mention become egotistical," he added with a chuckle as he finished his salad.

"Yes, I've had quite a few cooking disasters in my time." Ariala laughed. "I've been trying though." She said as she finished eating and took a sip of her tea. She brought her empty dishes to the sink and began to wash them. "But my kitchen is organized which is more then you can say." She said throwing a smile over her shoulder at Dimitrius.

Finishing his meal, Dimitrius rolled his eyes playfully and brought his dishes over to Ariala, placing them in the sink in front of her. Slipping his arms around her waist, Dimitrius placed a tender kiss upon her neck as he teased, "It's a good thing you're improving. I'd hate for our future children and I to be forced to eat your horrible cooking for the rest of our lives. If we did, we may just have to sneak over to Aunt Lina's house for dinner every night."

"There's some motivation." Ariala said as she finished the dishes and turned around to face Dimitrius. She stood on her toes to give him a long kiss, her arms snaking his neck. "And what shall we do now?" She murmured quietly against his lips.

"Whatever you wish," Dimitrius whispered against her lips before returning her kisses with long, slow tender kisses.

Ariala felt her stomach twist in knots under Dimitrius kisses. She felt something that was something along the lines of stage fear and broke away from the kiss awkwardly. "How about a fire?" She asked, slipping out of his embrace and taking her tea from the table before walking into the living room.

She lit a small fire in the fireplace, adding on small twigs to make the fire grow. Satisfied, Ariala moved back to the couch and settled into the large cushions. She curled her legs upwards, wrapping her arms around her knees with her tea on the coffee table.

Dimitrius sighed as he walked over to her, seeing her tense up. Kneeling in front of her, Dimitrius took her hands in his and placed a tender kiss upon each of them, "Ariala, my love. We don't have to make love tonight, you do realize this, right?"

"I know." Ariala said, her cheeks burning. She pulled Dimitrius towards her, placing a tender kiss on her lips. "I'm ready. Just not right now." She said shyly. "I just want to be with you right now." She said pulling him to sit beside her and curling up at his side.

Dimitrius sighed as he wrapped his arms around her and held her close, "Ariala.. if that's true, then why does something tell me you're unsure of yourself and that you're only doing it because you think I can't wait for you.. Ari, I've never been with anyone, and I don't want to be with anyone but you.. I don't want you to rush into anything you don't want to do.."

Ariala tried to hide her blush as she ducked her head into Dimitrius's side. "I want to be with you." She whispered softly. "But I don't want to do anything wrong." She admitted, wishing she could take the words back as soon as she spoke them.

"Ariala, you needn't fear being horrible.. it's a natural instinct, it'll just come to us I'm sure."

"Unless.. you believe that making love to me is what is wrong," he added softly as his eyes glistened, "If that is the case, then I promise you, you needn't force yourself to do something you don't want to do. We can be together without making love with each other. Ari, we don't have to go that far at all during our lifetime. I'd still stay with you and I wouldn't love you any less.."
