"Aye, that it has," Dimitrius smiled as he followed her up the ladder and called up to her, "Would you like me to stay and make you dinner?"

"Would it be selfish of me to ask you to stay the night?" Ariala asked, wrapping her arms around Dimitrius's waist. "I'm not going to be much fun tomorrow after my lessons. I'm just going to go to my lesson then come home and sleep." She said quietly.

Dimitrius smiled as he placed a tender kiss upon her lips, "I'll stay if you wish, love. Auntie still has Dimeria, and I already have clothes here, so I can stay if you want. Would you like me to come over tomorrow evening and cook dinner for you as well love?"

"I'll be fine tomorrow." Ariala said, resting her forehead against Dimitrius's chest. "Thank you for staying." She said as she led him into the house. "I'm going to get changed." She smiled before slipping into the bedroom and changing into a small, purple silk nightgown and returned to the kitchen.

Dimitrius smiled over at Ariala as she walked into the kitchen as he leaned against the counter, "What would you like for dinner, love?"

"I'm not sure if I have much." Ariala sighed as she leaned over the icebox. "I have some pasta in the cupboard over the toaster. But I don't do much cooking so there's not many groceries here." She sighed as she rummaged through the groceries in the icebox. "Here's some vegetables. I can't do a stir fry. It didn't turn out so good last time." She said as he brow furrowed in confusin.

Dimitrius chuckled as he went over to the cupboards and got out a pan for stir fry. Placing it on the stove, he called over to Ariala, "Do you have cheese? You could always make some macaroni and cheese while I make the stir fry if you'd like."

"Yes I have cheese." Ariala smiled as she pulled out a brick of cheese and began grating it. "I have some vegetables. I have some bell peppers and some onions in the icebox. I know there must be some other ones somewhere. I'm not very well stocked." She confessed as she put macaroni on the stove to cook as she grated the cheese in a large bowl.

"Peppers and onions are fine," Dimitrius said with a smile as he went to he icebox and pulled them out, "Would you be able to grow a small patch of beans or anything? Whatever vegetables you're in the mood for we can add."

"No problem." Ariala smiled as she ran out the door and down the ladder. Growing a small patch of beans, Ariala collected them into a bowl and brought them back up to Dimitrius. "At least we'll never have to worry about running out of groceries." She laughed before turning back to her noodles and draining them. Heating up a sauce pan of milk, Ariala finished grating the cheese and waited for the milk to heat before adding to it.

Dimitrius chuckled as he finished cutting up the peppers and the onions and placed them in the pan before cleaning the beans Ariala had brought in. Placing them in the pan, Dimitrius turned on the stove and added a few spices and seasonings along with some olive oil. "The grow-able stuff, that is," he teased with a smile. While he was looking through the cupboards, he realized just how bare the kitchen was. When Ariala left for her lessons the following day, Dimitrius planned to restock her kitchen so she could at least make a simple dinner for herself that night without having to dig through the cupboards and find something edible.

Ariala stirred the cheese into the milk and made the right consistancy, dumping it into a casserole dish. Adding the noodles, Ariala spread the cheese sauce through the macaroni and places the dish in the oven before turning to sit on the counter. "But at least they'll never starve. Besides, don't children need to eat their veggies?" She teased as she started to peel an orange from the bowl on the counter.

"Aye, that they do. But don't they also need milk, cheese, bread, and all those other food groups," he teased with a grin as he stirred the vegetables.

"Yeah, yeah." Ariala laughed as she placed a wedge of orange in her mouth. "At least I have two food groups down." She teased as she took another piece of her orange. "That's better then nothing."

Dimitrius laughed, "Quite true. And it's a good thing I know how to shop and keep a kitchen stocked," he teased as he shook the frying pan a as he added a bit more olive oil and seasoning to the pan.

Ariala smiled as she brought the dishes from the macaroni and cheese to the sink and began washing. "I'm glad I got to talk to my mom today." She admitted shyly. "Its been so long since we've had a conversation that hasn't turned around to Adan." She sighed as she scrubbed the pans.

Dimitrius smiled over at Ariala and he continued to stir the contents of the pan, "Ari, my love, I believe that in the future you will have a great many conversations with your parents that will not turn to Adan."

"I hope so. I don't think my father will be so easy to get along with though. He must feel horrible I didn't tell him I was getting married." Ariala sighed. "But I really couldn't. He would've stopped the wedding and I want to be with you forever. He must know why I did what I did but he's probably so disappointed. And somehow having him be disappointed feels so much worse then when he's mad." She rambled as she scrubbed the pans for what was longer then needed.

Turning the stove to a very low heat, the stir-fry being finished, to keep it warm until it was time to eat, Dimitrius sighed as he walked over to Ariala and placed his hands over hers, making her put the dish and cloth down. Resting his chin upon her shoulder, Dimitrius whispered softly, "Do you regret it...? Do you.... hate me for suggesting it?"

"Of course not!" Ariala said, her eyes popping open in surprise. "If we could go back I wouldn't change anything." She said as she turned to face Dimitrius. "Well, maybe I would tell my master to avoid getting in trouble but I'd still marry you." She said, cupping Dimitrius's face in her palm. "I love you. I just feel horrible that my father can't accept that I'm happy."

Dimitrius sighed, relief showing in his eyes and features as he leaned into Ariala's wet, soapy palm, "I love you too, Ariala, and I know how he feels, but I also believe he'll come to accept it and look pass it in time. Just have faith, love, and don't give up hope. Even if he's wretched towards me, and treats me like the scum of the world, I'll be alright as long as you don't fall out with him. Your parents love you, just give it time to soak in and give them time to over come it. Everything will be just fine, I promise you."

"I know." Ariala smiled as she gave Dimitrius a tender kiss and began drying her hands, laughing as she wiped the towel on Dimitrius's face. "Its just a horrible feeling when they're upset. Its different then when they were just not talking to me because they worked so much and now with him being disappointed." She sighed. "I love you, Dimitrius. What happened today doesn't change that." Ariala smiled before turning back to the dishes and placing them in the rack to dry.

Dimitrius sighed as he placed a tender kiss upon her neck, "I honestly don't know how you must be feeling.. You're closer to your parents than I am to mine.. But if I were in your shoes, I'd sit down and talk to them.. Go back in a few days if you don't hear from them, try and explain to your father and have him hear you out. Maybe just talking will help him understand and see things from your point of view.."

"I'll talk to them." Ariala sighed as she dried her hands and turned back to Dimitrius. "But if you don't go back to the stir fry its going to be burnt like when I tried." She laughed before moving to the cupboards to get plates and silverware. "What do you want to drink, love?" She asked as she hovered over the icebox.

Dimitrius chuckled as he went to the stir fry and moved it around a bit, "I had it too low to actually continue cooking, it was just keeping it warm. It's still perfect," he teased as he placed a bit of it onto each of the plates and putting the rest back onto the stove. "And whatever you're in the mood for is fine," he added as he got out potholders and took out the macaroni and cheese. Turning to Ariala, he showed her the dish, "This done?"
