Dimitrius smiled as he placed a tender kiss upon her forehead, "Of course." Rushing out of the bathroom and into the kitchen, Dimitrius immediately disposed of the eggs and put the pan in soapy water to wash later. Rushing back to the bathroom, Dimitrius hugged Ariala close as his hand softly caressed her stomach, "I love you.. so so much Ari.. I'm too happy for description.. I.. I'll be back, I.. I need to tell everyone!" he exclaimed happily and placed a tender kiss upon her forehead, "I want to shout it to the world.. May I tell everyone?"

"Yes." Ariala laughed nervously, the idea still not sinking in yet. "I'm going to be a mother." She said, looking down at her flat stomach. "I'm going to have a baby." She stated, resting her head against Dimitrius's chest. "Are you nervous?" She asked shyly. "At all?"

Dimitrius smiled as he held Ariala close and gently ran his fingers through her hair while the other caressed her back, "Of course I'm nervous, I'm going to be a father! I'm going to have a little miniature you running around the house in eleven months.. But the pure joy and happiness of that last fact, is more than enough to keep me sane and from being too nervous. I love you Ariala, and I want nothing more than to have children with you. The fact that you're already expecting... it's a miracle in itself. I'm so proud I fear I may burst.. We have to tell your parents, we promised. Do you feel up to going there?"

"Yes of course but the visit will have to be brief." Ariala said as she wrapped her arms around Dimitrius's neck. "I have my lessons today and I don't want to be late." She said as she slipped out of Dimitrius's embrace. "Just give me a few moments to get ready." Ariala said as she ran to the bedroom to pull on a pink dress and brushed her hair quickly.

Returning to Dimitrius, Ariala looped her arms around his waist. "I'm ready when you are." She said softly, placing a gentle kiss on his lips.

Dimitrius smiled as he returned the kiss, "I'll be ready in just a few moments."

Heading to the bedroom, Dimitrius quickly changed and brushed his white hair out before replacing the ribbon into his hair to keep it out of face.

Returning to Ariala, Dimitrius placed a tender kiss upon her lips as he pulled her close, "You really should eat, though.. Do you want any fruit to eat on the way?"

"I don't know if I can stomach anything right now." Ariala grimaced as she wrapped her arms around Dimitrius. "I'm sorry for scaring you." She whispered against his lips before giving him a gentle kiss. "I just don't want you to see me like that." She said, her cheeks blushed a light red. Taking his hand, Ariala led Dimitrius outside and to the rope ladder which she quickly climbed down and waited for Dimitrius to follow.

Looking down at her, Dimitrius called down, "Should I tell Erre and Marreck now or later?"

"Later." Ariala laughed. "I want to tell my parents before I go to my lesson and I won't have time if you stop to tell Marreck and Erreminette." She called up.

Dimitrius laughed as he descended the ladder, "Alright, alright." Slipping has arm around her waist, Dimitrius couldn't keep the school-boy grin off his face as he placed a tender kiss upon her temple and whispered "I love you" as they walked towards the Palace.

"I love you to." Ariala laughed as they walked. "You're almost irresistible when you're giddy like this." Ariala teased as they reached the Palace gates. After being granted access, Ariala led Dimitrius through the maze of hallways and towards her parent's residence.

Dimitrius grinned, "And you're completely irresistible when you're glowing like this and carrying my child." Knocking on her parents door, Dimitrius placed a tender kiss upon Ariala's lips as they waited for them to answer the door.

Ariala rolled her eyes as her mother answered the door. "Hi, mother. We, uhm, have some news." Ariala said as he grip on Dimitrius's hand tightened slightly.

"Of course, loves. Come in." Taylyn said as she ushered the couple to a small love seat. "What's your news?" She asked excitedly as she took a seat beside Arvan who had a very grumpy look on his face when he noticed Dimitrius.

"Don't you have your lessons?" Arvan asked with a scowl.

"Yes, father. But we wanted to come and tell you that we're, uhm." Ariala hesitated, her nerves as well as a small wave of nausea overwhelming her for a moment. "I'm expecting." She said quickly, cringing as if expecting a blow.

Gently caressing Ariala's back, Dimitrius blushed, a small smile on his lips, "We didn't know until this morning when Ari got so sick and was so exhausted with no explanation.. I can promise you this, nothing happened between us until our wedding night, so this is completely unexpected and sudden..," he admitted with another blush, "You're the first souls we've told, and we know it may come as a shock, but we couldn't be happier.. and we truly hope you both are happy with the news and are welcoming of the baby as well."

"Of course!" Taylyn squealed, wrapping her arms around both of the younger elves. "Oh, my baby you must feel wretched right now." She soothed as she stroked Ariala's hair.

"I'm just a little queasy." Ariala lied, fighting back the nausea in her stomach.

"Come now, love." Taylyn said, ushering Ariala to the kitchen. "I have a special tea recipe that's perfect for this. Makes you feel like new. Especially with your morning sickness." Taylyn soothed as she sat Ariala at a small table.

"You got my daughter pregnant." Arvan stated, his face expressionless, as he watched Dimitrius with a harsh eye.

Not flinching under Arvan's harsh glare, Dimitrius squared his shoulders and prepared for the worst, "Yes, sir, the child is mine. Your grandchild will be my child. I would say that I'm sorry I got her pregnant if that is what you wanted to hear, but I can't, I was brought up not to lie, though my father is hardly the role-model for that," he muttered to himself before sighing, "Mr. Gallagher, I know you don't approve of me. Why would you approve of a Winter Elf who stole your daughter from you. I'm sorry you weren't at the wedding, my parents weren't here either and when they find out, the Kingdom will be torn to shreds and they'll make your daughter come live at the Palace, especially once my father finds out she's expecting," Dimitrius admitted with a sigh, forgetting they had yet to tell his in-laws about his family, "Look. For Ariala's sake, please put your hatred towards me aside and welcome the child with open arms, the child has done nothing to anger you. Please.."

"You think I'm angry with my daughter's child?" Arvan asked, his expression never changing. "I'm angry with the boy who didn't think to ask permission before taking my daughter's hand in marriage. You didn't bother to meet us before you decided to propose. And now my baby girl is pregnant with a boy I met yesterday." Arvan said, controlling his temper to keep his voice even.

Dimitrius sighed, "I know, Sir, and if it weren't for Adan, I would have met you sooner. Please see this from my view. You and your wife are so high-strung on this man, and you don't even truly know what he's like. He's completely different when around you both. Ariala and I have seen his true colors, and so have you if you had only chosen to see your daughter's forced wedding disaster for what it was. I love your daughter, Mr. Gallagher, and I do know what it's like for you. I understand your view, but surely you must understand ours as well! We were afraid you'd completely disregard me and shun me because I wasn't Adan. Not to mention the fact that my being Royalty was probably the only way to get you to like me, and were we right? Would you have stopped our wedding and ruined one of the happiest days of our lives for your selfish wishes of her being wed to Adan? Can you honestly tell me, Sir, that this wouldn't have occurred has we told you?" he finished, his temper rising and it showing in his voice, though his voice never raised an octave.

"You don't think I care about my daughter and her happiness?" Arvan said, his voice becoming harsher. "You're to naive for your own good. I want Ariala to be happy and I want this baby to live a long and healthy life." He said, his voice cold. "I can't change the past but I don't want my daughter to be having a child with a spineless elf who can't bother to face her parents prior to marrying her. Did you think that running away would make this all better? Ariala can never say that her father walked her down the aisle on her special day because you were too scared to talk to us. I would've given you my daughter's hand in marriage had you come to us rather then run away. So why don't you tell your child that when they wish to marry that its okay if you're not there to see them off?" Arvan said, his face turning red from anger.

Dimitrius stood as his temper flared, "You think I was the only one who didn't want you ruining everything for us? Your daughter feared you more than I did! I tried getting her to see you. Had I known where you were, I would have went to you myself! But you're never home. You leave your daughter home alone all the time to stay here in the Palace sucking up to your Royals and don't give a wit about your daughter at home. So tell me, Sir, how the hell do you care about her happiness when you don't even care to be with her and see how her lessons go or see how her day went? So the way I see it, we acted as if you were never in the picture, which you haven't been. So do I believe we did anything wrong? No. I don't. I acted according to your daughter's wishes, unlike you. And had my child been in that same situation, I would have understood. Sure, I'd have been upset, but I'd have understood and realized where I had went wrong. But thankfully, I know never to make that mistake with my children. I know to be there for them and not run off to the Palace and blame it on work."

"Dimitrius?" Ariala said shyly from the doorway as she heard the two elves arguing. Seeing her father rise, Ariala stepped between them, a cup of tea in her hand. "I think its best if we go now." She said shyly as she set the tea cup on the coffee table.

"What's going on here?" Taylyn asked as she returned to the living room. "Yes, I think you should go to your lesson, love. It was a pleasure to see you again, Dimitrius." She said as she ushered Arvan away from the couple.

"Thank you." Ariala mouthed to her mother as she pulled Dimitrius towards the door and into the hallway. "What happened?" She asked as soon as the door was closed behind her.

"Nothing." Dimitrius grumbled as he stalked off down the hall, his temper apparent as his magic began storming around him, "Your lucky your mother took your father away. Your father would be covered in fifteen inches of snow and ice right now if she hadn't."

"Dimitrius!" Ariala said sternly, shaking a little in the cold. "I would appreciate it if you didn't freeze me." She said, wrapping her arms around herself as she followed after him. "I want to know what happened." She said firmly, not willing to give up.

Forcing his magic to pull in, leaving piles of snowdrifts behind the couple that began to melt as his magic let off. Shoving his hands furious in his pockets, Dimitrius sighed as he kicked at the snow still falling around him, "Nothing happened, Ariala, it's fine. Your father will simply never forgive me nor quit blaming me for what happened. Don't worry, he's not upset with you or the baby. You should probably only visit him when I'm not around though.. it'll only infuriate him if I'm around.."

"Dimitrius." Ariala sighed, stopping him in his tracks. Placing her hands around his waist, Ariala rested her chin against Dimitrius's chest. "Talk to me." She said softly. "Please, you were so happy a moment ago. Don't let my father ruin that." She said, giving his neck a quick kiss before resting her face in the crook of his neck.

Dimitrius forced a smile down at her, "Ari, I'm not regretting anything, nor am I angry about our situation. I'm angry with your father and his thick-headedness is all. I'll be fine, I promise. I don't need you worrying about it and getting upset over it, so I promise, I'll get over this quick and be fine, I just need to fume for a bit, okay?"
