It can be cartoons or non-cartoons :)
As far as cartoons go, I definitely used to LOVE watching things like Hong Kong Phooey (?), Inspector Gadget animated series, Flintstones....
And as far as non-cartoons go, I liked Sanford and Son, The Jeffersons, Fresh Prince of Belair. =3
How about you?

My favorite classic TV show is bewitched. I love cartoons too, I can't really say one that was my favorite. I wish they would replay old cartoon express shows like the snorks and jabberjaw, they were really silly but awesome.
My other favorite shows are more recent and always get canceled :(
I really loved pushing daisies, wonderfalls, dead like me, buffy the vampire slayer, firefly and angel.
Now I don't really watch TV, because I know if I get into a show, they'll just cancel it.

My favorite classic cartoon is Dooly. I haven't seen that show in years.
Though I do miss Fresh Prince of Blaire. I like Hillary on there. xD

Cartoons would have to be, Voltron, Thunder Cats, Ranbow Brite, He-man, She-ra, Smurfs, and Transformers.
Live action, Star Trek, Star Trek TNG, Mash.

Omg, I loved Hong Kong Phooey when it came out. ._. I also liked Wacky Races, though I didn't like the original cartoons as much. Well, except for the Pink Panther. I thought Galaxy High was awesome, but I was a bit old for that one when it came out. (I watched it anyway, though.)
I also liked stuff like the Twilight Zone, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, V, other various goofy things. I liked Fantasy Island, but I didn't watch it much. Maybe thats why I liked it. =D I really don't like sitcoms, cop shows, etc. Although the Mary Tyler Moore Show wasn't bad. I think sitcoms peaked with Fawlty Towers, personally.
I have a friend who hosts a classic TV viewing night and he'll have old sci fi shows on mixed in with fun stuff like The Muppet Show (also a great classic TV show ...)
Edit --
Oh good god, I forgot about Star Blazers, which is the only anime box set I own. Well, two sets full, and I need to get the third, but the third season never aired in the US.

Saved by the Bell 8]
That was on the telly about 6 months ago...not anymores though D=
But that show was great.
Oh and Kerching, although that's not really all that old.
And the original Tom and Jerry, I think that's the reason as to why I like classical music O__o

I love this show!
Gossip girl, Lost and Sex and the city are also in my top 5.

Roseanne. Does that count as classic? If not, then I Love Lucy is pretty entertaining. =o

My favorite classics are the Twilight Zone and Boy Meets World.
When it comes to cartoons, there are just too many to name here.

It'd probably have to be Get Smart. You just can't beat Mel Brooks.
