My Granddaughter was a little grumpy when he showed up because she was going to stay the night with me... She can't if Cliff is here because I have no spare beds...

However, Cliff, who hates kids... Grabbed her and gave her a big hug and kiss on her way out the door... hehehe... Mad loves him a lot...

Our first summer we used to go out to our local big lake and go to the swimming hole and we took her with us almost every time...

For someone that hates kids he is pretty amazing with Mad... I don't know how he acts around and with other children but he is good to my Granddaughter... hehehe

Aww that's just really sweet hun! It's good that he gets along with her so well as that is really very important! :)

Well my Granddaughter is pretty special and even though he doesn't like kids he has a little spot for her tucked away some where inside because he brings her special gifts sometimes... We take her to the movies sometimes....

I accidentally stabbed my finger under my nail with a needle while sewing something yesterday. So typing was kind of painful yesterday ^^'' The pain has lessened a lot today so its alright. I might be going out soon for dinner though.

hehehe, my right hand pinky nail just broke about a week ago. That nail was over an inch long... hehehe

You didn't seem like you were trying to go slow...

If you break a nail below the quick it is true agony... Not to much different from the same thing that just happened to you...

And I'm sorry but I don't really understand your statement about 'trying to go slow'.

Mine prick/stab actually happened at the side where the hangnails usually are on mt 'right click' finger ^^ If I hit on the keyboard too hard, I still feel a little sting in my finger but its still bearable :P

I use the glue-on French manicure nails. I love them. It took me a while to learn to put in earring backs and such with them, but I can do it well now. I type with the pad of my finger, not the tip. :)

glue on nails? As in those that are plastic? they are a famous trend here ^^'' I never really put effort into my nails exam for getting them trimmed so i'm not a pro with all these ^^''

I am one of theose that type with both the tip and the pads of my fingers as in I feel both of them touching the keyboard, so having long nails would most likely get in the way for me :P

Basically I broke all of the nails on that hand now...

None of them are a 1/4 in long right now but my left hand has one that is 1/4 inch and one that is almost a 1/2 inch...

I will have to clip them soon so that all of my nails are close in size... I have the wedding to attend here at the end of the month so I need them to look decent and or semi match.

For special occasions if my nails don't look decent I do the glue ons also... Only I use superglue and not nail glue... hehehe

Typing with long nails... I have no idea what I do, I have never paid attention... hehehe but my long nails don't stop me nor do they slow me down any.

I can tell you one thing that long nails are bad for...

That long pinkie nail that I had... took a chunk of skin one time when I was using the restroom...

I payed attention to what my nails were doing for weeks after that one... Dang did that one hurt...

I have to run across town to pick up my Son to come and do some chores for me but I will be back soon.
