hehehe I was out of town Sat and Sun so I couldn't be on Mene anyway you look at it...

Sorry, I was up in Bellevue in a hotel overnight all by myself.

I had to take my Daughter and Granddaughter up for my Granddaughters "Sleep Study." We won't get the results until Feb 22 but the study is now completed.

They are hoping to find what it making her sleepwalk so much that it is a danger to her, is what her Dr's say...

Odd dreams? When I do sleep enough to hit the dream stage I usually have odd dreams myself...

However I am both a insomniac and a person with Sleep apnea so that is not unusual given my circumstances...

Just remember you two that I love all of my friends and I enjoy relaxing and chatting with all of you!!!!

You're full of love Katty, and it's nice to read from you. That's very interesting, I am curious as to what causes sleep walking as well. I've never experienced it, hope I don't anytime soon, I think I'm better off when I stay in one place. Although when I was younger, I would wake up at the complete opposite spectrum of the bed and my pillow was always on the floor. My feet would be so tangled too, into the sheets, I had to kind of worm out of them.
Anyway, not about me, but I hope it's nothing serious with those gals, and it's good of you to look into it.

I don't thin I ever sleep walked - but I have sat up and smacked my head against the wall while I was asleep. I was dreaming I was looking out the bus window and wake my myself up kinda violently. Against the wall... *lol*

hehehe I still love all of my friends! They are important to me!

With Mad my Granddaughter she is sleep walking every night and several times a week 2-3 times per night...

Almost every time she sleep walks she uses the restroom and has no memory of it in the morning...

Normal sleep walking instances are 3-5 times a month.

No one goes big job in the bathroom almost every time they sleep walk...

She has flipped over furniture and she climbs in bed with people when she is asleep, cuddles up, and then goes back to sleep... Even though she isn't awake...

My Daughters Mans, Brother and Sister-in-law have twins 2 years older than Mad. They are very close. They stay overnight at each others houses all of the time...

Mad climbed in bed with the Mom and Dad one night and snuggled in for a good nights sleep................

THEN

She kicked the Hubby in the nards so bad he was singing soprano for about 3 days...

That is when my Daughter said this is enough it is time to talk to the Dr about all of this...

Poor Curt, he loves Madison dearly but she isn't allowed to stay the night over there again until they find out what is wrong with her and why she sleep walks so often...

She had also stayed the night over there another time and flipped over one of their chairs when she was sleep walking in the middle of the night...

The Dr said don't let her stay the night anywhere though she can still stay the night with me in a pinch... However if she climbs in bed with us Cliff just goes out and sleeps on the couch... hehehe and doesn't worry about it...

TheLupusFaerie,

I don't know if I have told you or not but I have a couple of relatives with Lupus...

Deilen,

Mad when she is not sleep walking thrashes the bed she sleeps with her head on the floor and her leg up the wall... Crazy junk like that.

One time she was sleeping with me and we went to bed with both our feet at the end of the bed and about 4 am I woke up with her big toe up my nose...

How would you like to wake up like that??? hehehe

Fauxreal

I have smacked my head in my sleep it hurts! I hate it when that happens...

Wow that is very peculiar. The kick too is a little sketchy, I mean I jerk (twitch is more like) I've noticed and it wakes me up. I just kind of..have restless legs or something - not all the time but often enough that I know about it. But an outright perfectly located kick? Wonder what she dreams about, has anyone asked her?
That's kind of funny, feet in the face but not unheard of, LOL Katty, I'm sure that was quite the experience for you. It's nice that your...beau is cool with it, and ja it does seem safer for the males to just leave, although it's still very odd. (Conspiracy :squee:!!!) joking. xD

hehehe, we all love Mad dearly and we know that we will get her through this.

Mad does throw herself all over the bed when she slept. She has always done that...

No one thinks she did it on purpose. She was asleep.

The problem here is that she is sleep walking far to often. They are afraid that Mad will walk outside their home while sleep walking.

Last Summer while I was still living on the property there was a cougar seen to close to the place.

In the past fall there was a cougar seen with 2 cubs. That is now 3 cougars in the area for sure and there has to be a dad cougar somewhere...

Just thinking about the possibility of her walking outside asleep with 2 full grown cougars and 2 kid cougars wandering around hungry...

Cougars have taken down kids before and if the kid didn't even know what was coming... She wouldn't stand a chance.

hehehe it was the indignity of a toe in my nose.... hehehe... That is what got to me... hehehe... She teased me about that very time just a week or two ago... hehehe..

Well I have to go to bed...

I am trying to get some sleep for a change...

I hate early Dr appointments...

Of course my Dr office is just over an hours drive away... I like the 11 AM or the 1 PM appointments the best. If I have to those are my two favorite times for that...

I have a Dr on Monday. I am not really in the mood.

Yes I can understand the anxiety over her walking out the house. I'm sure there are measures the family can take to bar her way though. I don't understand it all that well I guess, because it's hard for me to believe the individual is totally unknowing (even in sleep) of what they do. I assume though they are asleep, they move about as though they are awake..a little like Lucid Dreaming, and therefore know where to walk, what to touch. It's....mysterious.

Sorry that it has taken me so long to get back to you both. I read your messages the day that they came in I just haven't had time to post a reply to either of you yet...

WinterWind,

Nope I am not ready for the V-day event here yet... I don't know if I ever will be as I can't seem to sell any items here to get some pure saved up so that I can be ready for the event...

Deilen honey,

Sleep walking to the extent that my Granddaughter does it is dangerous. It shouldn't be happening every night and it shouldn't be happening several several times a night a few times each week.

She is totally asleep when she is sleep walking and doesn't know anything the next day. She has no clue that she goes potty almost every night while she is sleep walking. My daughter will ask her did you get up to go potty in the middle of the night and my Grandbaby will say, no I was in bed asleep all night long...

Yet my daughter can tell several different ways that it is her daughter using the restroom and not anyone else...

They put a chain guard up higher on their door and so far it is keeping her in but they are very worried about her maybe getting out somehow still...

It's all good Katty, and...you should have at least 2OOOg your way by the time the event comes around. I've been real bad and not playing the games everyday, but I can use both accounts to save toward your Order Armour. In fact if I counted it up now, I am maybe 12OOg of the way there. ^^

That is such a phenomena to me, wow. I hope they figure it out, but even so it doesn't mean it can be stopped. I reckon it is rather a dangerous thing in the end, must be very stressful too.

Well sweetie I won't be selling it to someone else anytime soon...

It is there put away so that it will be ready when you are...

When we know what is wrong we hope to take steps to set the problem back to rights so she won't sleep walk so much that it is a danger to herself...
