None of my toys gave me nightmares, but I hated, and I mean HATED this one toy I got from a friend when I was eleven. It was one of those strawberry men. It looked like a giant upside down strawberry with eyes, a wrinkly nose, a big mouth with a big tongue sticking out of it and a tuft of brownish-green hair. It was the ugliest thing!!! I would kick, punch and jump on it; I basically used it as a punching bag. One day I gave the strawberry man one cuff too many and it ripped. Mom took it to the dump (Good riddance!) and then told me that because I was so mean to the strawberry man all the strawberries I eat would be poisonous to me. Of course, I wasn't scared.
Hey, at least she didn't tell me that if I ate any strawberries, I'd turn into a strawberry. :P! LOL!

Dolls like Barbie, Cabbage Patch Kids, and the baby dolls little kids use to pretend they're mommies always freaked me out. They just seemed so un-natural... I was perfectly happy with my blocks and books. And puppets. I found them absolutely terrifying.
However, I love clowns.

My sisters and I got this one doll for Christmas one year when I was about 8 or 9. I am not really sure what it was called but you would put a few 9 volt batteries in it and it would talk when you squeezed it's hand and blink it's eyes. Well my sister's and my room was up in the attic and we kept our toy chest in one of the crawlspaces. I don't know if the batteries in the doll were dying or the doll got wet or something like that. We were upstairs in our room playing with our cousins and out of nowhere we heard these weird noises coming from the crawlspace. So we opened up the crawlspace and the toy chest was making noises. My sisters and my cousins and I were freaking out at this point. So we dragged out the toy chest and opened it and sure enough it was the doll, except it didn't sound like the doll... it sounded much more demonic, kind of like what I think the devil would sound like. We were trying to take out the batteries but it needed a screwdriver and our parents wouldn't let us use one so alas the battle begun. We started smashing it against things and the like. Well we got so freaked out, we through it out our 3rd story bedroom window. Needless to say my mom wasn't too happy about that.
I had nightmares about that evil doll for months after that. I think that's one memory i'll never forget.

My grandmother had a ballerina doll when she was little.. and her dog had took it out in the yard, and chewed it up. xD
It had teeth marks all over it's body, and barely any hair..
And the eyes opened and closed when you moved it.
It was really old..
She would keep it in the bathroom, on the dresser facing the toilet..
and every time I would be using the bathroom, and I would look across the room, it would be sitting there.. staring at me. It creeped me out..
I would always run out quickly cause I thought it would jump across the room and start attacking me violently.
I had a nightmare that it was going to come into my room with a butcher knife, and chop me up into little pieces.
Plus, the fact I had seen the chucky movies really didn't help this. xD

I hate those monkey-with-cymbals toys. They have the creepiest look on their faces... ugh even thinking about it makes me feel sick haha.
I also used to be terrified of The Nightmare Before Christmas when I was little and my dad had NBC boxers and I wouldn't go near him if he was wearing them haha...

Furby and Elmo.
They both scare the life out of me.
Furby because it talked. Every night. And it didn't just say a bunch of things. Noo. It repeated the same things. Over and Over.
Elmo..slightly because I think he eats children. And I was at wal-mart and I walked past a shelf that had "Tickle Me Elmo" on it. And it started laughing and fell off the shelf. Still laughing.
Talk about nightmares.
I don't mind clowns or porcelain(spelling?) dolls. I actually collect them.(not clowns, but dolls)
But yeah.

Hhahaa, this reminds me, i used to have this hulla Doll, from Haiwaii.
It was quite...well, it was cute but the eyes painted on it gave a creepy vibe.
I didnt think much about it though, until one day i woke up and the first thing i saw was those eyes staring straight at me.
*shudder* That is beyond ... creepy. Reminds me of something alive that shouldn't be alive Dx

My mom bought me a Hokey Pokey Elmo doll as a Christmas 'gag gift' when they came out a couple years back. She pressed its hand through the wrapping paper and it punched through the paper and giggled. o.o;

FURBYS! OMG those things are terrible! When you're not having nightmares about them, you're most likey awake at 2 am because it woke you up by chanting random things... 0.o I threw mine down the stairs when I was little, and it broke. Thank God.

My dad travelled for his job all the time when I was younger and after my parents got divorced he refused to let me stay with my mom while he was gone if it was his week so he'd make me stay with my grandparents. So, at my grandparents house they had turned their guest room into my personal room because I stayed over so much; my dad would take me with him when he could though (which was only on school breaks and weekends). On top of the ledge on the left side of the room when you walked in were countless porcelain dolls. And they all stared at the bed. I swear to Buddha...they were watching me. I had nightmares about them countless nights.

o_o, I wouldn't say I've ever had any toys that have given me nightmares, but just a minute ago, I got up from my desk to get a pencil, and this one porcelain doll I have, it has a handle in back that when you wind, makes the doll move and it plays music, and it just started playing music and moving. I did not wind it. DX

Dolls, particularly ones of the antique variety, with their glassy eyes and passive stares, rictus grins and stuffed bodies, rigid hands and broken-necked sitting postures *shudders* I used to live in a room full of old dolls. Every night, I'd turn them around so that they were facing away from me, and every morning, they'd have been turned back to face me. I seriously had the worst dreams because of those things, and most of them were about the eighty or ninety year dolls- and they'd stare at me, telling secret stories of their past owners, and their horrible premature deaths.
Yep, I was a pretty imaginative little four year old.
I learned later that my mother turned them back when I was sleeping, when she cleaned my room at night.

There's a doll that I've had for many many years. When I first got her (she's been passed down through the family) she was actually a little bit bigger than me, if that gives you an idea of her size. (I think I was 4 at the time)
Well, I used to drag her everywhere with me, but once we moved to PA, she ended up living in closets, in the darkness, 24/7. Over time, she's gotten creepier and creepier, with those doll eyes that follow you wherever you go D=
There's another toy that creeps me out: Tickle Me Elmo. It never scared me until I saw this video. *shudder*

Wooden dummies always used to give me nightmares. Ever since i watched and read "Night of the living Dummy" from Goosebumps, I had been deathly afraid of em. I'm not quite as dummy-phobic as i used to be, but they still weird me out.
