I actually really didn't start listening to music until I started high school... :insane:
Which, I know, IS WEIRD. I was happy just listening to whatever my mom played in the car/turned on on the radio, etc. ... I don't know. :gonk:
But I love '90s/'00 music. <3 Especially stuff like Train (DROPS OF JUPITER <3 BEST FEELING OF NOSTALGIA EVAR), Alanis Morissette, and um... Other stuff I can't think of. :>

The early 2000s were so... odd. A lot of weirdly-catchy tunes were made during those years!

Complicated by Avril is really the only song of hers I like. xD

Lol, I was just N*SYNC, Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears. That's all I bought. The radio was good though.
xD;
Then I really liked Avril, and now I just.... yeah, I have no idea what my interests are.
xD;;

Yeah, like Facade, I wasn't into music very much before high school age either. I only had a handful of CDs, couldn't really pick a favorite band/artist, etc.
But now I'm reeeaaally into music.
I do like some stuff from the 90s (not a bad decade for music), just not the stuff that I liked in the 90s. :lol:
But like, Gin Blossoms, early Green Day, aforementioned Alanis, Barenaked Ladies, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains... these are all things Cherry approves of.

Train were pretty good. Drops of Jupiter is a cute song. I just never got into them enough to really look into the rest of their stuff. It's not totally my cup of tea.

I loved Salt N Pepa from the 90s. Their stuff makes me giggle and it has a great beat.

Savage Garden is great too, although everyone says they hate that group. Blegh to them.

The song "Affirmation" by Savage Garden is pretty damn good. ;)
Last year we used it for our indoor color guard routine. xD;

Facade, that's pretty awesome. Not many people like to acknowledge that the group exists anymore. So weird.

Cherry, yes they are the ones that did that song.

I'll Be is ttly on my iPod too. :lol:

You know, in a way, I've got Country to Rap on my iPod too, but not much. Most of the "rap" is more "rap-influenced." Gorillaz, Gnarls Barkley, M.I.A., Flobots... Lonely Island. :lol:

I have some Jay-Z and Eminem on my Ipod because they are acceptable in my book. 50 Cent can kiss my bug white butt...his stuff just lacks originality.

Brianna, you might like Gnarls Barkley, then. They're both Danger Mouse projects.

Ah, I can understand being sick of them, then. My mom does that with her music. ._. GO DIE, JAMIE CULLUM. D:
Actually, she liked Gnarls Barkley first. It's a wonder I'm not totally sick of it too.
