Rodd and I love to cuddle, we can't imagine having a king size or bigger because it's just too big. We had a king in Vegas, wow...I felt so alone on the bed. Not to mention some part of me must be touching him when we sleep. Especially for me to fall asleep. Which is why that first week he was gone on deployment was hell.
Long distance relationships are hard, but if you can stick them out and make it work, more power to you Cherry. *huggles*

I'm naturally kind of insecure, clingy, and possessive. So when you add that to the fact that I have no offline social life whatsoever (I mean really, the last time I hung out with someone was over a year ago, and I don't even like them anymore ><), then I'm SUPER needy. Theeeeen add that to the fact that I can't even get a hug from my boyfriend or any kind of physical assurance like that... and I turn into a psycho who's like "WHY DON'T YOU LOVE ME?!?! :cry:" if he hangs out with a friend. (exaggerating a bit)
But we've made it last for three and a half years so far, so that we're willing to put up with all the rampant suckiness for each other has to say something.

Oh, I'm the opposite. I have a personal space bubble and when people come into it, I get uncomfortable and usually back away. :lol: But as I alluded to previously, I'm socially awkward. :lol:

Rodd is in the Navy. He gets out in October, so I won't have to worry about the deployments anymore after this one...or so we hope. *Crosses her fingers*

Long distance is rough when it comes to the whole no contact of the physical variety. Prefer having contact, kissing, holding hand, the very least hugging. We can't get enough of each other and will be social reclusive to the point where we don't hang out with people for a couple of weeks. We do see my parents, but I don't count that as socialization. It's just my family. *shrugs*

I'm really socially awkward too, I guess that's just my way of coping? It's weird, I absolutely detest being touched by anyone but my friends, but with my friends personal space ceases to exist. >_>
Heh, speaking of social awkwardness, do you ever get that thing where you'll be talking to people (online or off) and they stop talking and then you need to leave the room, but you feel awkward doing so, since it'll seem rude to say "okay, bye" after such a long silence? >_> My remedy irl is to just hop out of the room, and then people make fun of me. xD;

Brianna - Actually, I don't have that problem. I'm more of the "i want to go hide in a hole" variety, so I usually tend to walk away before the conversation's been over for a long time. Having moderator work to do and a long distance boyfriend (we're very needy and require hours and hours of IM conversations a night :lol: ) gives me a good excuse, at least. :lol: "Well, uh, I've got a lot of work to do..." I didn't go to my prom. I ended up slow dancing with my uncle in the basement.

It wasn't my choice though. He locked the door.

Cherry, he is currently in Spain and hating every frigging minute of it. His day goes like this: He gets up, PTs, eats breakfast, goes to work, gets off work, eats dinner, goes back to his room and goes to bed. He doesn't hang out with anyone because people have issues with getting in trouble and he doesn't want to get mixed in with that crap.

For the first time in a long time, I am prepared for this event with a nice little stash of gold on the mule. Going to limit the spending though to 10k, which shouldn't be that hard, since most of the items don't appeal to me anyways half the time. This also means I can gift people with items should they want something and not have the gold for it. :yes:
