Runescape is an MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game....or something like that). Games for consoles, such as Final Fantasy, are just RPGs since it's just you playing. :P

Ohhh, I see. Yeah, I think the only RPG I've played is Kingdom Hearts, and I haven't even beat that one. xD;

I really need more friends in Dofus (the one I'm currently playing), but I'm too afraid of people being all, "WHAT!? MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION THAT IS DRASTICALLY LESS THAN WoW'S!? BLASPHEMY! -quits-" :gonk:

Oh, and then there's the fact that Dofus' fights aren't real-time, but in fact turn-based. Which seems to throw people for a loop, since it's less about DPS and more about tactic... I guess people are too mindless to see the beauty in it. :talk2hand:

@Anna: Yeah, that's still technically an RPG, but it also leans towards the platform gaming-side as well. I remember crying after beating it for the first time. Not because of the end, but because the music was so emotional. Music does that to me...:stare: SHUT UP :illgetu:

The game was created by Frenchies. It's got a strong global following - there are six international servers (whose primary language is English), six Spanish servers, probably upwards of 10 French servers... A few Portuguese/Italian/German/etc. servers... Blah blah, blah blah. :P

I've been playing since '06, and I've fallen in love with it about ten thousand times over.
The game has a bunch of tongue-in-cheek humor involved - for instance, there's a character class named after a popular brand of yogurt... And another class named after Mars bars... And another class named after Aspirin... Blah blah blah. I ramble. :gonk:

There's also some interesting equips. :shock: Like this one ring that's shaped like a penis. :rofl: I mean, um, a no-no part. :ninja:

...The rating of the game is still only 12+ though! But the average user is either in their late teens, mid-20s, or older.

That's pretty much how it is for me. I reeeaallly get into music when I listen to it. It triggers emotion in me just like any other work of art.
