"Oh, of course. Amber is a high school student, and I go to S University..." Derien hoped that wasn't too hard to believe, after all, S University was very prestigious and very difficult to get into.

Victoria was a bit surprised. So they can keep up with schooling? Wouldn't that be hard? Like... really hard? She had one more question to ask before letting him go, something she knew would be bugging her if she had to wait until six. "Very impressive." she said first, actually a little surprised. After all, it was a very prestigious school. "How.. How do you two cover up the fact that.. erm... you don't age? Sorry, again... just curious.."

Derien's heart leapt up into his throat. She couldn't possibly know, could she? He cleared his throat. "We... don't age? Whatever are you talking about Victoria, you've only known me for a day, and unless you have a secret I don't know about, then not aging in a day is a pretty normal thing..." he was babbling, so he stopped. Derien sighed. "You know, don't you?"

Victoria paused at first, afraid that maybe she had heard their conversation wrong. Maybe her assumption had been off. But, no. After his last addition, she smiled a little. She had been right on target. "Lucky guess. I overheard you and Chastity talking.. and you seemed too perfect to be.." she let out a soft sigh after this. Yes, too perfect. She didn't mind the whole vampire thing... but he was too perfect. Too perfect for her. Why was he even talking to her? Amusement? Pity? She left those thoughts, finishing her sentence. "Too perfect to be human."

Derien laughed. "Perfect? I hardly think so. Darling, I drink the blood of humans. Granted, I try to avoid innocents, but... I'm nowhere near perfect. In fact, one could call me a monster. Does that scare you?" Derien knew it would scare him, if he were human. He'd probably never want to talk to the person again, even if he did believe the monster only killed those who deserved it. Also, why did Chastity have to talk about secrets so loudly in front of humans? Silly girl.

Victoria wasn't scared in the least. And his little argument didn't change her mind, to her, somehow, he still seemed perfect. "Flaws can be found in perfection." she stated simply, mentally slapping herself when she found that one of her hands had been twisting the phone cord. "That doesn't change my opinion of you. Sorry, babe, but you can't scare me."

Derien chuckled to himself. "Well, I'll see you tonight, then," Derien said. "Oh! Before I forget: I don't actually go to university, nor does Amber go to school, but I'm chasing her out of the house, so you don't have to worry about her. Sorry I lied." Now there was just the problem of getting Amber out of the house. She'd probably fed last night, given the pile of bloodstained clothes at the foot of her bed, so she wouldn't be hungry... perhaps she'd like to see a movie? Derien did have plenty of spare change laying around...

Allie hugged him after the kiss ended. She looked over and the guys were looking at some other girl. She sighed and grabbed Vincent's hand, going over the machine with the tickets. They were now inside the park. She smiled and handed him a map. "you pick first then I pick, we can take turns" She said with a giggling smile.

Victoria frowned a bit. Vampires she didn't mind. Lying she did. Ah, well, he had good reason.. She laughed softly. "Alright... well, thanks for tellin' me. See you tonight." she said somewhat happily as she hung up the phone. A thought then struck her. What was she going to where? I mean... dancing? She wasn't much of a dancer. A dress? She didn't have many.. Lazily getting up, she walked over to her closet, looking through her clothes.

Vincent was a bit relieved that the guys found some other girl to check out. He had a twinge of jealousy he had just become aware of, one that he wasn't very fond of. However, he stopped thinking about that, looking down at the rather simple map. "Hmm.." He looked it over, not sure what to pick.. " Vincent ended up suggesting a rather simple, stereotypical, roller coaster.

Derien hung up his phone, and looked around himself. This house was positively filthy. As okay as Victoria said she was with vampires, he was sure she wouldn't want to see his sister's bloody clothes, so after he shooed her out of the house with enough money for three movies and a haircut, he closed her door and put a "DO NOT ENTER" sign on it. Well, it seemed Amberish enough. Then, Derien proceeded to organize the clutter, vacuum, clean all the windows and mirrors (maybe Victoria would need one) and make his bed. Then, Derien was faced with the dilemma of clothes. Would Victoria wear a dress? Should Derien dress up or down. Decisions, decisions. He certainly couldn't wear what he was wearing now, since it was covered with dust and cleaning products. So, Derien took it off.
Eventually, he decided on a v-neck, long sleeve black shirt, black jeans, a studded black belt and no shoes. He owned only black and white clothing, so that he didn't have to worry about matching. The ensemble could pass for either casual or formal, so Derien was safe on both counts. Derien laid back on his plush white couch and looked at his watch. 5:30 already? Cleaning sure did burn up time...

Victoria had looked through all of her clothing, but to no avail. Sighing, she plopped herself down on her bed, grabbing her wallet and looking to see how much she had. It wasn't a lot, but it would be enough to go shopping with, and maybe keep the fridge somewhat full for a week or so until her next pay check. Smiling, she grabbed her bag, slipped on some shoes, and walked out the door.
Later, she came back home, around 5:15. Victoria had decided on a simple black dress that almost reached her knees, it had a dark grey pattern along the bottom, but it was barely noticeable. Something that looked pretty casual, but, if necessary, she could just run to a bathroom and pin her hair up to make if pass for formal. Just enough time to get ready, she thought, smiling. She went and changed, cleaned up a bit, then grabbed her bag and headed out to start walking towards the park at around 6:25. She might be there a few minutes early, but atleast she wasn't running late.

Allie felt him tense up and then relax. She wished she could just pull him into another hug again but she would just stay in his arms all day if she could. She looked at the ride and smiled. "lets go then.. hmm... we are here" she pointed to a spot on the map so it must be that way. She turned and pointed and the ride was right in front of them. She giggled and blushed "I knew that..."

Vincent kept an arm around her, smiling. He knew the ride was right in front of them, but he figured he would let Allie find that out herself. He thought it was rather cute how she blushed when she did. Vincent smiled, chuckling. "Of course. Shall we?" he asked, motioning to start walk towards the line.

Allie looked at him and smiled. She happily took his hand and walked to the ride. She stood in line and watched the others on the line. She gulped and hoped she wouldn't get sick. As the line got closer to the ride she became more nervous, but she didn't show it. She held his hand tighter as they approached the front of the line.

Vincent took her hand, smiling as he held it in line. He wasn't nervous at all about the ride, but he could tell Allie was, the way she gulped and held his hand tighter. Before they got on, he turned towards her, whispering into her ear. "We don't have to get on if you don't want to.. I can tell your nervous."

Allie looked at him and shivered when he whispered. "no, its alright.." She didn't want him to think she was a coward. She then mentally cursed herself. He could hear everything she thought. She smiled sheepishly as she stepped through the barriers getting on the ride, moving over so he had room to get on. Once they sat down she asked him "If my life flashes before my eyes...can you see it?" She was teasing him. The bar came down signaling the ride was going to start soon.

Vincent looked at her worriedly before stepping through the barriers after her. He didn't want her to force herself to get on the ride with him. He sat down next to her, keeping his hand around hers. He chuckled softly, thinking about her question for a moment. "Maybe." He said, smiling softly. The ride then started, and Vincent relaxed, enjoying the wind the speed had caused.

Allie smiled and held his hand tight. She wondered if she could ever squeeze it too hard to cause him pain. She sure hoped not. She gulped as the ride started with a jolt and soon relaxed. She was able to see the path ahead. Just straight up. She held his hand and moved closer to him as they moved into a dark tunnel. The ride suddenly stopped and a voice came on the speaker system "warning, there is a hundred foot drop coming up.. hold on to your hats" As soon as the voice stopped they were shot up out of the tunnel into the light and then going back down. She let out a scream and she did in fact see her life flash before her eyes.

Derien began to walk to the park, wringing his hands as he went. He hadn't really thought this through, and besides the hours he spent cleaning and putting together the perfect playlist, Derien hadn't thought about it much. Of course, they would dance. That was what he had specified when he invited her, but would they talk? What about? Nevertheless, Derien would count it a rousing success if he just avoided scaring her away.

Victoria arrived at the park a few minutes before six, looked around, and decided to sit on a bench near the entrance since she didn't see Deiren. She then bean to worry. What would they do? Just dance? Would she be a horrible date? Would he even come? She bit her lip, trying to relax and block those thoughts. She hadn't been on a date in a while, she just hoped she didn't mess up too bad.

Vincent was relaxed most of the ride, holding Allie's hand firmly, gently stroking it occasionally with his thumb. When the drop came up, he wrapped an arm around Allie's shoulder, hoping to help her relax a little. It didn't seem to work. He heard her scream, and just as he heard her thoughts, he saw her life flash before her eyes.

The drop slowed down to a turn and back up again, another dark tunnel leading them up. Her hand was on her chest and her heart was pounding in her chest. "oh my god that was so fun.." she said quietly giggling to him. She was not ready for the other drop. As they rode up the long tunnel in suddenly dropped one foot and slowly rode to the exit. She gasped as the drop was a ploy and not what they were expecting. The bars were lifted and they were free to get out.

Vincent chuckled softly, glad that she thought it was fun. He had enjoyed it, though he had been pretty relaxed the whole ride, but he did manage a gasp at the next sudden drop before they got off. As they exited, Vincent pulled out the map, handing it to Allie. "Your turn." he said, smiling.

Allie relaxed as she took his hand again stepping out of the ride. She smiled sweetly and took the map. She closed her eyes and pointed to a random spot. Her finger landed on the love boat. She blushed brightly. She tried her hardest not to think anything. "er.." She said softly "maybe another one.." If he wanted to go, they could, she was just not sure if she would be able to stop. She smiled softly looking up at him innocently.

Derien arrived at the park and saw Victoria sitting alone on the bench. He looked at his watch. Exactly 6. She had been early. Derien grinned to himself, and ran so fast to the bench that Victoria wouldn't have seen him unless she were a vampire herself. Then, Derien said "Hiya!" right in her ear, and smiled awaiting her response.

Vincent watched her pick a ride, raising an eyebrow at her choice. Not what he would have picked, but if she wanted to go on, he would go. He smiled, shrugging. "Sure." he said smiling, and grabbing her hand as they started to walk towards the ride.

Victoria looked up at the sky as she waited, wondering if he was actually gonna come. She had only waited a few minutes, but the whole idea of going on a date with him made her a bit nervous. Then again, maybe he didn't even consider it a date? Her thoughts were cut short. Victoria jumped, surprised at how he suddenly appeared there. "Hehe... scared me..." She turned to him and smiled, standing up. "Hi."
