Vincent frowned a bit. "Allie... it's alright. Everyone has a past.. but you should really eat. I know I'm not.. the best person to tell when a person should eat, but you haven't eaten or had anything to drink since the ice cream.." he said, as he walked into the kitchen. "Tea, juice, water, milk, soda...?" he listed the contents of the fridge, the drinks, hoping she would change her mind.

Victoria stiffened at his words, they had hurt. Why not? Was this a routine or something? Get girls to fall over them, then leave them when they age too much? Or was she just not good enough? Tears pricked her eyes at that thought, even if he did try to cover up what he had just said. She stayed quiet, not really sure what to say at the moment. Victoria managed a slight smiled when he tousled her hair, still willing the tears back.

Allie looked at him and blushed. He was right. She nodded "juice would be great thanks" She would have to stop thinking so much. She smiled to him as she went over to help him. She put her bag on the couch and grabbed the cups as he was in the fridge.

Vincent smiled, glad that she had changed her mind. He took the orange juice form the fridge, being the only juice he had, and poured some into the cups Allie had gotten out. "Hungry?" he asked, wondering if she had also changed her mind on eating as well. He wasn't going to force her to eat, but he knew she probably should.

"Victoria?" Derien asked, worried. "What is it, what did I say? Is it about the turning thing?" Derien thought Victoria had realized her mistake in choosing him, and decided not to be turned into a vampire after all. She's probably realized how much it would hurt, and now she's decided I'm not worth all that. Derien thought. He looked at her. As beautiful as she was now, Derien thought she would be beautiful no matter how wrinkled and gray she got. He wouldn't mind her staying human, maybe he should tell her that...

Victoria seemed to have found her voice as she looked up at Deiren. "Why not? I.. I'm gonna grow old... you won't.. what then? I'd look like your grandmother." She stopped a that thought, pausing to try and keep holding tears back. Growing old and staying with him may have been assuming to much, in his perspective, but in hers... she could see that. "I don't want to stay human." she said softly, stating her decision. If he wouldn't turn her, she would find someone else to. Chastity, Amber, maybe.. she would do anything.

Allie looked at his smile and knew she had done something right. She nodded to the food, although she wasn't sure if she could eat. Her mind was re-playing the event in her mind. He was back.. She shivered at the thought of seeing him if Vincent wasn't around. She then looked at him and smiled "why don't I make you something.. its not fair for you to cook if you aren't gonna eat" she said with a smile.

Vincent blinked in surprise at her suggestion. He knew he wouldn't be the best cook anyways, so he smiled and nodded. "Sure.. If you wish." he said softly. "Umm.. I don't have much to cook with." he said, looking in his pantry.

Allie smiled and nodded. "You can go shower or do whatever you need to do.. and I will surprise you.." She went into the kitchen and found some pans and one pot. She put a finger to her lip thinking. What could she made besides breakfast foods?

Derien let out a little sigh of relief. Well, at least she wanted to stay with him. "Ohh, baby," he said, pulling her to his chest. "Is that what you're worried about? Honey, I don't care how you look, you'll always be beautiful to me! Plus, I could be your great great great great grandfather!" he said with a laugh. Derien pulled Victoria's head away from his chest again, looked her in the eyes, and then kissed away her her tears. "I don't want you to be a monster, Victoria... but if you can wait, I think I'll be able to... come to terms with it," Derien sighed, giving in.

(Umm XDD... pasta?)

Vincent raised an eyebrow at her before nodding and walking into his room, his bathroom, to take a shower like she had suggested.
he was done quick, about 15 minutes, when he stepped out of his room. Vincent's hair was still wet, and he had a new, clean outfit on. He looked around for Allie, then remembered she would be in the kitchen. He walked into the kitchen and smiled at her.

Victoria frowned a bit, childishly. She didn't want to get old and wrinkly and have him still looking young... and perfect. She would detest that, people would really think her to be his grandmother. She was a bit flattered that he ahd called her beautiful again, but kept persistent with her frown. The tears had stopped by now, and she managed a soft smile as he kissed way the remaining ones. At the beginning of his last comment, she was ready to retaliate... but she stopped at the end, hearing the word terms. Victoria smiled brightly, all sadness swept from her face. "Wait.. what kind of terms?"

Allie went to work as he left. She made some noodles and a special sauce. She got to work fast, "by mistake" cutting her finger and letting some drip into his plate mixed with the sauce. She smiled as he came into the room. "your just in time.. I put everything on the table, just cleaning up.." She said with a smile as she led him to the table.

Vincent smiled brightly, helping her set the table. He then sat down, pulling out her chair for her, next to his. Sitting, he smelled his food. "Smells good... I love pasta." He then noticed something else. That smell.. A very distinct smell of blood was coming from his plate.. Allie's. Vincent frowned. "Allie, dear, you put blood in my pasta, didn't you?"

Allie looked at him and smiled as she sat down next to him. She then looked at his frown and instantly regretted what she did. "I am sorry, I thought you would like it, please don't be mad.. You can have mine.. I will make a new one.. please don't be upset.." she was freaking out and she didn't know why. Maybe the fact that he could leave her or hate her. "please dont be upset.. I am so sorry.." she stood up ready to take his plate away.

Vincent let out a sigh, then smiled softly. "Sit down.. it's alright. I just don't want to get used to having your blood all the time.." He then took a bite, and smiled. "The pasta's delicious." he said as he started to eat.

Derien was glad to see Victoria happy again, but he couldn't help but see a deviant twinkle in her eye. What was she thinking of?
Ah. There it was. She had found her loophole. Derien sighed "Victoria, do you think you can wait to be turned long enough to marry me?" Derien asked, tentatively. "Not that I'm proposing now, but... those are my terms. Derien said, looking Victoria straight in the eyes.

Allie looked at him, still panicking. "I told you, you could have it whenever you wanted.. we are a couple now.. I don't want you drinking some other girls" she said with a hiss in her voice, blushing at her jealousy. She watched him take a bite and she sighed sitting back down. "I am glad you like it" she said as she took a bite of her own.

Victoria smiled. As he stated the terms, she couldn't help but let her face flush a bit, a blush quickly spreading. Marry him? Whoa.. That old take it to a whole different meaning of 'til death do us part'. She smiled softly. "Yes.. I do believe I can wait until then." she replied, softly, her eyes meeting his.

Vincent's eyes widened, surprised by Allie's jealousy. It was cute, but... why would she be jealous of him taking someone else's blood? he frowned. "Allie... I don't like hurting you.." he said, looking at her. He felt like a monster... taking blood from the human girl that he loved. Straight out of some twisted horror movie.

Vincent smiled. "Thank you." he said, leaning down to kiss her lightly on the lips. "And, with that, I do believe it is far past your bedtime, and much too late for you to walk home. Would you like to spend the night? I don't think Amber would appreciate you taking her bed, so how about you sleep in mine, and I'll take the couch for the night? That is, unless you want to brave the night terrors alone?"

((err... I think I might be a few hours ahead of the other storyline... >.>; I could change that, if need be.))

Allie looked at him and sighed. She knew she would have to explain. "I don't know what it is.. if it is the powers I have.. when you bite me.. it doesn't hurt, I can feel your love, I can feel how much you care about me.. I can feel all these wonderful things.. there is no pain at all.." She looked to him, her head down. She didn't want him to be upset.

Victoria smiled, gently returning the kiss. She felt as if she should be the one saying thank you, but.. oh well. She laughed at the word 'bedtime'. "Bedtime? I'm an adult, not a child.." but he did have a point. "Umm.. would you mind if I stayed here? I.. don't think I'd do so well finding my way home in the dark." she asked, blushing a little. She was then unsure about he decision. Amber, as he had mentioned, would be back.. she wasn't very fond of her after the snide comment she had made at the park.

That had always confused Vincent. "Are you sure? I.. I wouldn't want there to be an accident with you. I wouldn't want to accidentally hurt you.." he said softly, worry clear on his face. He didn't know how it didn't hurt her... anyone else would probably feel great pain while he fed off of them.

Allie stood up and walked over to him. Hugging him tight, whispering in his ear. "I would tell you to stop.. and I will.. if it ever hurts.." she said with a smile as she kissed his ear. Walking back to her plate, taking another bite.

Vincent let out a soft sigh, smiling a little. "The thing is, Allie.... what if, just one time, I'm not able to stop? Then I'd have lost you forever.." he said softly, almost a whisper. He looked down, suddenly not hungry anymore. It was true, though. What if he had an accident with her? Drank too much? Couldn't stop?

Allie looked at him and just moved her chair closer to him. She put her head on his shoulder just being close to , not trying to tease him. "I trust you Vince, after all we have been through.. I really think if you heard me crying out to stop, it hurts.. I think somewhere inside would signal you to stop and you could pull away." She was going to say something about him not having to worry about it if he turned her but decided against it and hid the thought from her mind.

Derien grinned. "You're a child compared to me!" he said, with a laugh. "Well, I did invite you to stay, didn't I? Just let me show you to your room for the night. If you don't want to ruin your nice dress, you can sleep in one of my shirts," he offered.
