well then the GPS is good to have. but thats seriously adorable that your so directionally challenged. im really good with directions and stuff. but we used to just drive and pick a direction and end up somewhere. we did that once and we ended up at a beach, and to tell you the truth i have no idea what beach it was. lol. maybe it was Godrich. i dont know.

Yeah it's why I'm not sure how I'll do on the practical cause now it's independent driving they tell me where they want me to go and I have to find it.

They've only changed it recently. Makes it difficult for non-English people. My instructor had to lend him car to a foreign person last week and he thought he'd wrapped his car round a tree or somethin cause he was so late comin back. The examiner had told him to follow the signs to Middleton and he couldn't read the signs so he got lost.

ah well thats good i guess. but wow, not being able to find something in your own city... thats kinda crazy. if you mentioned any landmark and any other landmark and gave me a car and told me to get there, i would. might not be the fastest way, but i would get there. i think i would even be fine in toronto after looking at a map for a little bit. although i guess your city is a lot bigger and more complicated then ours are. even one as big as toronto. its big in land use, not in people or density, so its fairly easy to get around.

I can get to the town centre and I'm fairly confident I can get to my brother's other than that I'm not sure. We've got lots of diversions and roads closed at the moment too cause they're puttin the tram lines in.

yeah construction makes getting around so much harder. but it does keep you on your toes. is your GPS enabled with construction warning and stuff? or no. because if not, like most others, it might be mostly useless to you. and you have to make sure you dont get too dependent on it. you have to be able to know your way around things for this test by the sounds of it. so maybe you should start looking at maps.

Not sure haven't really done anything with it. Mostly I don't think I'll need it once I know where I'm going. I don't think I'll be going to new places all that often. I remember how to get somewhere after a few times.

No but he knows I'm not good at finding things and he keeps saying this is a common route for the test at different roads and you get an hour before with him before the test so hopefully it'll be all right.

Yeah, my Dad says just leave her and she'll eat it if she's hungry but she doesn't she goes and starts eating plastic and I'd rather her eat food than have to take her to the vets because she's got some plastic wrapped round her insides.

We're getting new furniture tomorrow so we've got no sofa now.

The manager from that nursery I worked at called me today.
