its an exam where you can take it home and work on it for a few days to ensure that you have enough time to complete it. professors do this so that when they want you to write a 10 page paper for the exam they can.
@sad_girlformat: let me know, they are still available so no worries
@Jeanie: dont worry, i just know too much. lol. i think you should listen to Blue oyster cult and we will can it even. lol maybe i will buy you a CD for christmas and send it to you. lol

i hate the post. they suck ass. they get paid so much here, and still complain. in an economic downturn when people are losing their jobs left and right, those bastards go on strike. same with CUPE. i fucking hate CUPE for that. those jerks.

They went on strike like 3 times last month. there have been loads of posties in trouble for stealing the post they couldnt' be bothered to deliver. One had a ton of post shoved in his mattress. Some have been found binning it because they didn't want to go that far. There was one company that got their post 5 years late, including cheques and things, because the postman had stolen it and it had only just been found.
There's this thing goin on now with the bin men as well. They've cut the hours of bin men so they can release prisoners a few times a month to empty the bins.

I've never heard of people having take home exams before. :XD
Erm, no it doesn't seem to be working but I think Inso has been up to something the past few days and there have been some bugs because of it. It'll probably be sorted when he's finished whatever it is he's doing.

@sad_girlformat: yeah. its easy. just click on the arrange button in each of your drawers. and make new drawers that are appropriately named. mine are arranged based on where they go on my avatar, and then CI's and EI's. and within the drawers i arranged them based on colour.

meh. its part of school i have gotten used to them year ago. in fact, i dont know what im going to do when i graduate without them. its a whole new world out there... that i will have to get used to all over again.
i have 8 pages to write for this exam... im not looking forward to that. but i have a basic outline to work from for now. so i can start filling in the gaps and what not.

@breath: yes. how long do you need?
@Ace: it depends. Jeanie was saying she has never had to do one. and these are my first in 6 years of uni, so really, its unlikely depending on your degree.

lol. i should really get started on it though. i only have 2 days to really sort it out. and its fairly long. as it stands im not going to have enough time to have someone read it over, which sucks because my grammer isnt the best.

You could have regular exams Ace, depends on your course. I had exams for Psychology but my Education side was all essays and presentations and one debate.

oh i almost always had exams in the last time slot on the last day. oh and Ace, look out for teachers who like to have their exams one after the other. it sucks having 3 exams within 24 hours of each other!
