busy. i was just as a job fair, and in the first hour they had already gotten more applicants then they expected. thats how shitty the economy is here.

I can't even find jobs I can apply for because I don't have the experience or qualification they want. ¬_¬

I have a meeting with some dude at the jobcentre on Wednesday..I'm going to ask about doing the teaching assistant NVQ. I'm not sure whether I can do it or not because I have to work in a school a certain number of hours and when I signed up for jobseekers they said I had to be able to look for a job that's 40 hours a week which I couldn't do if I'm doing the NVQ.

Threat them with they life and deman a job xD

wow jeanie, thats kinda messed up. i mean really, the contradicting requirements? how can they get away with junk like that?

im looking for just about anything right now, to get the experience needed and the necessary connections to be able to get the job i want. its juts that hard to get into environmental education. you pretty much have to volunteer at an organization for years and wait for them to hire you.

They've got a new thing now where they say they guarantee work, work experience or training to 16-24 year olds who have been on jobseekers six months. And at ten months they HAVE to take something from some backing young Britain crap list. So even if there's nothing on the list that you want you have to take one of them. Genius, force them into careers they don't want. :roll:

My old flat mate is homeless now, she's sleeping a few days at her mum, a few at her boyfriends, a few at her dads..she went to register as homeless and they said she has to be registered as living somewhere to register as homeless so they could send her post. She said what about a "care of" address and they said no. :| They're just trying to fiddle with the numbers so they can say they're reducing things when they're not.

well at least you will be working and possibly networking. you will also gain experience that you can use regardless of what it is. so i suppose its better then nothing is what they are thinking.

and you have to register as homeless WITH an address? how the fuck are you homeless if you have an address? what the crap? that is some non logical government you have in place there. that's a right problem is what it is eh?

It depends on what they have to do and how relative it is to what they actually want. I have experience in a job on a voluntary basis but that experience is irrelevant to every other job.

Yeah and I bet if she then goes and gets an address they'll go well you're not homeless are you. It'll be their way of saying "look not as many people are homeless! How awesome are we?" because not many people would know they aren't letting the homeless register as being homeless.

Not much, just spent the last six hours drawing. :XD My hand is starting to cramp.

lol. i just finished creating the most awesome valentines outfit ever! and now i just need 5000 more gold (after i earn 500 in my mule account) by friday to get the items i need. isnt that a little crazy?

um.... we call them tea biscuits. not that they go with tea, just that they are tea biscuits. *shrug* maybe because British biscuit was too long, and English biscuit sounds wrong.

Yeah, I was really worried I was outside in -1 in my jammies for nearly an hour shouting him and he spit at me when I tried to cuddle him when he got home. :gonk: I freeze my arse off looking for him and I don't even get a tiny snuggle!

I like biscuits dunked in tea. They always taste nicer when they've soaked up some tea and are all soft.

I've lost my tablet pen. I went downstairs for a couple of minutes and now I can't find it.

that sucks about the tablet pen. i dont have a tablet, but my roommate has two and she let me play with her old one. i think it takes a lot of getting used to before you can make it work the way you want to. i certainly havnt figured it out yet.

i dont dunk anything in my tea. i dunk in milk. but i do know what your talking about, because i love to dunk cookies in milk. so yummy and soft.

im going to be at school all day today and im not sure rebecca is going to have woken up and gotten mlk by the time i get home. she tends to not get up till 2-4 in the afternoon and then does nothing for the first few hours because shes still tired and hasnt woken up yet. i dont get that at all.

I found it, it had managed to get from the bed into a trainer. :XD I can't always get it to do what I want most of teh time it takes a few attempts to get it right.

I don't really do much the first bit I'm up but that's usually if I get up in the morning. Most of the time when I get up at 2-4pm I've been awake for 2-4 hours and just didn't want to get out of my comfy warm bed. :XD

yeah i dont get that. when i wake up at 8am i wake up and get out of bed to go pee, because normally by then i cant hold it anymore. and then at that point im already out of bed, so why bother getting back in it.. so i get up and eat something.

i guess im a morning person, because i really really dont like staying up late and i hate sleeping past noon, i feel like i missed half the day if i wake up at noon. the most i ever sleep in is till 10 unless im horribly sick, then i will sleep till noon, but i will still get up and do shit and then take naps. and i have to be horribly sick to do that. normally i bget up and start the day.

im going to the gym soon and then im doing tarot and then a meeting and then more tarot, and its only quater to 10 and the only reason i havnt left yet is because i keep missing the bus... cuz im on here.

I'm a night person. I prefer to be up late in the dark. I hate the morning.
