If I can't find a place by September if I get offered a place on the apprenticeship course I can't do it. I don't know how hard it would be to find somewhere because they have to actually properly employ me and pay me the college doesn't pay the apprentice wage and they'd have to give me one day a week off to go into college.

yeah i dont know. i guess you just have to make that decision on your own. i know nothing of the market there. it seems you have been having a hard time, but maybe with the apprenticeship thing they will be more likely, you know?

Yeah I don't know. It's really hard at the moment.

I got a call today from a place I sent a speculative letter to, they want me to do some voluntary work. Hopefully it will lead somewhere.

I went on their site and it says they offer training and with my letter I had one from the jobcentre saying they might give them £1,200 towards training and £1,000 if they give me a job for at least 6 months.

Me too, I'm all ready for in the morning now. It's not too far from mine only about half an hour.

nice. im really nervous about my interview today. i havnt really told anyone because i dont want people to judge me. but it still nervous even if i know im saying no at the end. i just want to know if i qualify right?

well ill let you know tomorrow how it goes. i feel better about the whole situation. i have a friend who was in my situation and she left. she went and did a year abroad. in france. and now her and her boyfriend arnt together and she agrees that i should stay here. and she said something that i never thought about. there will be other jobs and other opportunities, but there is only one james. so im going to stay. and feel good about it.

That's good, glad you feel better about it. It's always good when you know someone whose been in the same situation.

Yeah went today, it was good I really liked it. They're looking to replace someone so maybe hopefully if I did good today and when I go back on Thursday they may give me a job. Fingers crossed.

Someone I went to school with has their kid there I saw her pick them up today but she didn't seem to recognise me.

Yeah I haven't seen her for like 3 years since we left school but she doesn't look any different. She's got 2 kids and an ex husband and she's only 7 months older than me. :XD
