"Beauty Behind the Words"
by Thinh-Timmie Dang (me of course)

She wears a smile through written words,
undetectable to the eye,
driven by hope buried in her soul.

A heart that flutters on a breeze of ambition,
keeps the pilot light of passion burning,
ever alert for love's inevitable explosion.

Brush away the dust of discontent,
and you'll discover this precious diamond,
priceless in character and devoid of impurities.

Place her in a band of golden promise,
and she'll engage you with infinite sincerity,
caring, sharing, devotion.

A face filled with vivid expressions,
draws its contours solely from her literate voice,
her image defined by feelings and emotions.

For her physique is but a distant memory,
obscured in my mind by countless years,
yet her beauty is as apparent as ever it had been.

(To the inspiree) - proving the essence of beauty
lives within us...

You turned my dark sky to blue moon with looks
And rocked my body to feel pleasure it never knew.
You changed my flimsy arms to flying wings with moves
And molded my mind to taste peace...magnificently real.

When all in your eyes perfect beauty is revealed,
And in your soul pure passion like deep blue sea,
Then your beauty will be the religion I'd preach,
For you've been for years irresistible to me.

This poem was not deticated to anyone special in particular.

I can search high and low
And across the earth
But I’ll never find another girl
Like you, for what it is worth

You were a blessing to me
I couldn’t love you anymore
No one in my lifetime
Has touched me like this before

I can’t see myself with anyone else
And wish you had stuck with me
But now it may be too late
What God has in store, I’ll wait to see
