Yeah, I kind of agree with you. Too often I can never find a topic that interests me, and too often I can never think of enough to write in a post. Like now. I just went blank. :roll: Sheesh. Well, there are always the games. I like the helicopter one, but I really suck at it. I can hardly earn 100 gold on this website in a day. It's one of the things I hate about this place...

It IS a bit hard to earn gold here even if I spend hours chatting. Simply, I suck at games and I feel like throwing upm after four hours of Chopper Challenge (Only game I can earn any gold with) to max out. I certainly can't do it more often than every other day. XD;;

Still, you can find something nice for cheap prices in stores, too... Mene Exchange gives commons away for even cheaper. Don't glare at my avvie, though. XD I bought the basic clothing like shirt, pants, roses and gloves my self but the rest was donated. ^^; That's one more thing I would like to point at - charity boards.

The cost of items in stores is fine.
The main problem with the gold gain is that games give way too much, especially since they aren't a direct tie-in to the site, as well as being unfairly advantaged to certain people.

Not to mention, crappy quality and a complete waste of time.

Comparative to the amount gained from posts, games give way too much.
I'm fairly okay with the gold rate from posts though, as small as it is. Then again, I don't have a Pokemon Master view towards the items, either.

Yes, it is hard to earn gold here on mene. However, like for me I had 600g a few days ago. I don't need to have every items, so I just kinda post along and play the games when I feel like it until I have something I want.

Mene is more about posting to chat, not posting for gold. I have my one dream item, so I'm just here to chat and make a friend or two =)

With the threads being so unpopulated it really does make it difficult to earn gold. I have posted in threads where it seems that people only post there once a day instead of it seeming like an ongoing conversation. Or am I missing something.

It depends on where you go. Certain forums are very quick-moving during the high parts of our week (Sunday is a slow day in almost every forum unless an event is going on). But Menewsha Nations, the Exchange, Quests, Avatar Chat and Charities are our faster forums. You can also use the "spy" feature to figure out where people are chatting. :)

If it took 20 minutes of activity to be rich... Well I'd be a trillionaire. Like in life, you have to work to get gold. Put some effort into it. 20 minutes of tetris for me can get, on good days, gets around 200- 250 gold. And in a day, I might get 100 gold from posting, when it's not an event.

Geez, I wish I were good at Tetris. I've heard other users says its the easiet game to make gold from, but I suck so bad at it. D:

I don't suck at Tetris, but I don't think I've ever made 50 gold a play from it. >_>;

Trick for me is to start at level 6 ish. Level 1 is too slow.

lol If you're decent in Tetris, after some practice, starting straight from level 10 is not much of a problem. :yes:

I've noticed it too. I would play games, but I don't really like the games they have. Well, I do like Tetris, but I suck at it. :/

Starting from level 6 in Tetris is indeed, for me, the trick to accruing much moolah per game. =D Also, I'm an avid RPer, and can pretty much garner around 20 gold per post, so that helps a lot, too. I lurk around pretty much all of the forums, getting my two cents in hither and thither whenever I think that two cents will actually be worth something to others. ^__^;; Which... actually when I think about it isn't as often as I'd like. O__o;; MORE LURKING... I MEAN, POSTING, IS IN ORDER.

But when it all comes down to it, it's hoarding all your gold like the dickens. O__~;; *Mai's eye twitches* Or not. We all have different "strategies" anyways, right? =P

I know what you mean, but I've been posting like mad to get what gold I do have. I'm not addicted, but I do what I gotta to get gold.

It's challenging since I'm a lurker and I'm not used to posting. Though once you start posting more and more and you find something you enjoy, it will begin to build up. I don't go on much. I prefer my gaia account but I've earned what I had in no time even if it isn't much.

And I disagree with Captain Howdy, Snake is the best game to make gold off of! It's fast, challenging, and fun. I make more gold from there than any of the other games.

But, anyways, I do think we need some adjustments. Whether it be more games, gold for posting, whatever! We need more ways to get gold. I don't think lowering the prices would be a good choice though. We need some challenge to keep us addicted.

Yes this is true. But the harder you work the more happy you would be when you get something you want.
I look at everyone's avi and there so cute and i am trying my hardest to post up a storm, but i am shy somethings, and every time i post i am the last one to post and no one ever respond to my post, but what can I do but keep posting if i want to at least be about to afford something nice.
Posting is not my thing, I posted more today then i ever had.
