*rolls on through* I don't think I've stopped by before, but I really like your art! :D

As for talk of commissions, I don't think that's as bad as a commission I'm still waiting on. XD It's been three years and by this point I doubt if she'll even answer my emails. She has some cash I gave her though, way back when she actually had a preview, so I'm a little sore about that.

Also. Little kids that talk LOUDLY at random parts too. = A = Oi...

I usually go to REALLY early show times because before it was like "People are at work and their kids are at school. So no problems." Now that it's summer, that's all people do; go to the movies. :/
I did that once when I was really little. ^^;;
It was the first real movie I had seen in theatres (not cartoon). It was Jurassic Park. And I only said one thing loudly, but it was at a scene when it was silent, so everyone could hear me. It was the scene where the T-Rex breaks through the roof and eats the man hiding in the bathroom off of the toilet. And I yelled "Haha! He aint him right off the toilet!" and the entire theatre just cracked up. I may have said "potty" instead of toiled, but I can't recall. My mom would know, though.

Oh man. I had one movie like that with the kids right behind me.
It was a little girl, and she kept asking her dad questions throughout the entire thing "Why did he do that?...But why?...And why did she say that?" and just everything was a question that happened. It was getting irritating, but I could understand that she wouldn't understand what was going on very well, and was just happy they were keeping it to a low whisper (sensitive hearing)

Thanks~ :'D

Wow... D: That sucks big time. I feel like crap for even taking a week long. 3 years would... I'd kill myself. o__o;
Okay, not really. But yeah. ;A;
How much did you pay her? >: Hopefully not a lot.

You took 3 months.. either a little more or less. Not nearly as much as this person. >:

@ Suo;; Yeah that's good. At least some people keep it to a low whisper. Sometimes there's the really noisy ones who ask those questions though and it makes me want to walk out of the room.

@Pinwheel: You're welcome! :D <3

Well I only paid her half, so $20. I considered it a very good deal considering the first piece she did for my friends and I (this was supposed to be a three-part commission) came out really well. But she just kept taking on more projects and putting ours off saying she was too busy with school. =/

That's quite a lie though since I added her on LiveJournal a long time ago and she kept posting updates with fanart she made in her spare time and was selling some doujinshi she drew.

@Yume;
;A; *clings* I'm sorry.

@Ferra;
Wow. That is really nice! o_o The style looks familiar too. Does she have a dA?

I'm guilty of doing that sometimes. ;A; I feel bad for it too.
There's just a lot of things I want to draw, so I jump around a lot. But I get back to the one's I owe.. eventually... OTL

@Pinwheel: Her dA is akemi-shuu. I like her art which is why I'd still like it completed (especially since she already had a sketch finished of it) but I haven't been able to contact her in a long long time. =/

I usually don't mind when people do things for themselves in between since I know art can be hard when you aren't inspired, but at some point they need to come back to their obligations. What annoys me are artists who open a new shop, take tons of orders, become "too busy", quit and cancel everything, then start a new shop all over again.

@Pinwheel: I think you work at a steady rate (from what I've seen). :3 And I think it's good that you put your RL commission customers first.

I tried emailing and messaging her on her LiveJournal and dA. But it doesn't seem like she has been active since January on either of those. =/ She seems like a nice person, but I feel like 3 years is very unreasonable, no matter how you slice it.

@Pinwheel: Well I did send her periodic reminds every few months which she'd say she ;was sorry, that she was busy, but she'd get to it right away. XD; But yeah, she probably has forgotten about it by now.

Oh well. I actually have a few commissions I've been waiting many months for, but those ones I'm less concerned about. :lol:

Ah no, I don't mean to whine. XD I've been blessed with tons of wonderful art. I'm not as passionate about collecting as I used to be though, which probably a good thing for the sake of my wallet. It's not very practical to spend money on art while being a poor college student, lol.

i know. :3

it's just that money is hard on everybody, economy and all, and that's really unfortunate that you lost out on arts when you paid $$ for it.

That's true. =/ At the very least I could get my money back, but I'd rather have the art since I've waited so long. I had an artist refund me and promise she'd still do the art, but I'm not even going to bother. That lady kept telling me "oh, I have a WIP!" but whenever I asked to see it she mysteriously didn't receive my notes. :roll:

But I've had many good experiences with commissions too. :3

But you're not.. xD You do a good job of getting them to people fast. c:
@ Ferra;; The whole thing of paying before having them draw it is what always steered me away from RL commissions.. that and I don't have the money to blow on them, so I just commission with gold or whatever the currency is of the site I'm on with people selling their art.
