Andor Roq was a man that had lived through many things. Through wars, plagues, weddings, and peace talks, he had traveled around the world alone and with friends. It felt like he had gone back in time as he watched the boy in front of him. On a smooth jaw, and wire framed glasses that were pushed up at intermittent intervals. His blonde hair tied back out of his face, with awkward bangs which he brushed back out of his view once or twice. It showed his nervousness. Yet, as he looked closer he knew he was exactly where he was supposed to be.
The boy he was looking at was not the man he had met twenty years ago. The look in his gray colored eyes was less sure than the man he remembered. They were not defiant. They were just scared and uncertain. The way they darted from right to left they were looking for someone, and also wary of those around him. Jumpy and shaking in his boots the boy was dressed just how he had left the desert. Long flowing robes, a scarf wrapped loosely around his neck, and his pack held close to his chest. Smacking chapped lips the elf sighed as he watched the boy continue into the tavern. He flinched at each sudden motion towards him, with a look of fear in his eyes.
"Eddie... what do you think you're doing..." He muttered leaning back for a moment as he waited for the kid to do something stupid. Calloused hands wrapping themselves around the giant mug set before him, hazel eyes looking up just in time to see the boy make a wrong step and trip into a very large man drinking a beer. Taking a few sips, he watched the child get lifted up by his robes, and the look of unease that had been on the boy’s face earlier was now a look of terror. Clicking his tongue he sat up and brushed off his vest, adjusted his bandanna and then walked swaggered forward to intervene.
(( And.... I don't know if that is a satisfactory beginning or not.
Andor is mine, along with the kid that I have not named. So yah... Your turn ^^;; ))
