Neat! I love your pics. What a cool experience. I mean, i'm sure it's not easy to move all the way to Alaska but it's kind of neat at the same time. i'd love to be able to move to a new city for a little while.. We're pretty tied here though so i don't see it happening in the near future.
----------
I have cable but I want to get rid of it. I usually only watch stuff I DVR.. so I could get Hulu plus or something and just watch the shows I want on my xbox or something. I think that's my laziness showing again.

We got rid of cable when we got Netflix. xD Cable was an extra $60 a month when we were in NC, and it's an extra $100 here. (It's not only tougher in Alaska, it's a hell of a lot more expensive. D: )
Eroy- It's...interesting. We're here for 3 years. Before this we were in NC for 4 years, and before that Northern California for 2...I think it would be nice to stay in one place long enough for the paint on the walls to dry so that you can call it home. ^^;; Like if this were a 2-6 month vacation like trip that would be one thing. I don't know. Sometimes I just want to stay put, even though I didn't like NC, I wanted to stay because I was getting used to it. It seems like once you have a routine down and things are making sense the military up and moves you. *woe* But it doesn't cost us a cent and we get to have new experiences. So there's a trade off to be made.

Yeah. I hear you.. I would only want to move away for a year or two maybe. Then have the option to come back or stay if I like it. The whole uprooting part would be a challenge. So how long is your husband signed up with the CG?
----------
Daria - Totally. I usually end up watching stupid mind-numbing shoes anyway. It'd probably be good for my health to get rid of it. lol

He originally signed up for 6 years and has re-enlisted for another 4...before we knew they were sending us here. lol Since he's already signed the contract to finish up 10 years, chances are he'll retired military. We were 18 when he joined, so we'll be 38 when he retires. :D

That's really not a bad gig, as long as you don't have to worry about being sent out of the country. Which he doesn't right?

Retiring at 38 doesn't sound too bad. I agree, if you're going to go for 10 you might as well put in the whole 20.. you get good benefits for it from what I understand.

I totally missed this post! lol.
Sounds like fun stuff xP I was going to say.. I didn't think my friend had to deal with parents much. But I wasn't totally sure. Sounds like I had the right of it at least.
anyway, goodnight!

*hugs* Night both of you! <3
He shouldn't get sent out of the country, but to be honest I wouldn't be against it. xD It would be another new experience to add onto this. ;D But the chances of that are pretty much 0. I think they might send him to like Guam or Peurto Rico but that's about it. Either way, I'll roll with the waves and just take the ride. No point in fighting so long as they're not splitting us up.

Hehe, well I'm glad to help. I've had the extra pair laying around in my inventory for quite some time too.
Thanks! I way overpaid for it.. But i'm happy I have it. ^^ Now if I could just get that chicken in a choke hold. It looks like EVERYONE else is looking for one too though.

I agree! They are hella fun! I think Seito and Howdy have them. I was lucky to get my voodoo head from her (I have the black one). There are a few things on my quest list that I doubt I'll ever get. Those old VD EIs, the St. Paddys day ones, the voodoo head (the brown one, I'm too lazy to look up the name at the moment) and the chicken. I think some day I'll probably get the king's crown. I probably won't bother with the puedo. Same with the Jelly head unless it comes down in price.

Oh, you probably could get them.. but it takes forever to quest. Plus then you can't really spend much on commons. And what's the fun in that? I could lend you any of those items if you're ever wanting to make an avi with them or something. Just let me know! :)

Why should you get rid of them? They are yours. Besides, you never know when you are needing that just right accessory and a rare will fit the bill!
I got to borrow some of those rares from Bartuc to make some previews for the Rare Item Guide. I honestly found some of them hard to use. That's why I actually went for the sash when it came up for sale, it was one of the ones I found relatively easy to use. I think the lovipop is probably lowest on my list, as many other items can be used instead of that one.

I find the sash to be the hardest to use. It just takes up soooo much of the avi! D: I love the pop though. xD It's third on my list of the v-day items I love. First is the belt, then the necklace. While I think the pin is really pretty, it's overly large for a lot of outfits I attempt and so it doesn't ever really look right. >.>
